10 years after Ranma was found by Sha-Fu. Quickly, the events of GekiRanger have taken place. Ranma is working for SCRTC as a doctor (at 16) and is also helping to train the newest generation and people. I still don't own either.

I'm happy to see that this is pretty well liked. Though I do want to address Mr. Haziq. I am the first person (that I know of) who is doing a focused story on the two franchises, but I was actually inspired by Ten-Faced Paladin from his first one-shot from "Dreams of a Ten Faced Paladin." Obviously, I took it in a different direction, but I give credit to them for making me think of putting the two together.

Also, forgot this in the previous chapter, this takes place after 2008, so some more tech is available.

Chapter Begin

"There we go. Just stay off of your ankle and you will be fine, Natsume," Ranma stated to a girl, dressed in training clothes. He was currently dressed in black dress pants and a white button up shirt. He had just finished wrapping her foot with some bandages. As he got up, it was apparent that he stood at about 5'11".

"Thank you, Ranma-Sensei," Natsume thanked with a red face. She carefully walked out of the room.

"You know that she has a crush on you, right?" A mature female voice said. It was an older lady dressed in a professional suit and carrying a folder. She bore a striking resemblance to Natsume.

"What makes you say that, Miki?" Ranma asked. A faint squeal could be heard from down the hallway.

"I would say that," Miki grinned at the sheepish boy. "I swear, every girl you meet gets a crush on you. Even Ran had her moments." Her teasing was met with a deadpan stare.

"Please don't remind me of that moment. I still have nightmares about delinquent Ran. The only thing scarier was Mama Ran and Boss Miki," Ranma groaned. "Now, is there anything I can help you with? Normally, you would be working on designing something new or refining one of the training tools."

"It's a mix of good and bad news," Miki started with a smirk. She pulled out a packet of papers from the folder she was carrying. "We've finally been able to track down your wayward father and get a report on his actions. From the looks of it, Master Sha-Fu finding you was the best thing that ever happened to you." Ranma smirked at the comment as he began to read the reports.

"I could have told you that. My few memories before Fu-Sensei painted a bleak picture. Always moving, never resting, and constantly being pushed too hard in the name of "training," Ranma grumbled. His face set into a massive scowl as he looked over the report. "Selling me to any willing family with a daughter is something I didn't know. I'm glad I'm legally free from any promises made by him. Not that any were legally binding anyways. We still don't have a record of where my mother is."

"We found some unique things while searching. Your father had picked up a new student to replace you. His name is Ryoga Hibiki, though your father has made efforts to adopt him. It's halted by the fact that Genma is not the head of the Saotome Clan. Your mother, Nadoka, is, and she is against it. It seems that she still has hope that you are alive, though we don't know where she is living," Miki explained.

"That means I have to find him if I want a hint to find Mom," Ranma rubbed the back of his head. "Where is he staying?"

"Currently, he is staying at his friend's house in the Nerima District," Miki stated. "I'll have the other Rangers ready..." She stopped as Ranma held his hand up.

"I appreciate the offer, but I think this is something I should do myself," Ranma stated. "If I really need help, I'll contact you or one of the masters, but a part of me needs to do this for myself." He started to clean up his room before he pulled out a weathered book. "Besides, I feel like something is telling me I need to head over to Nerima."

"Are you certain?" Miki pushed gently.

"I'm certain. I need to do this," Ranma stated. "I'll probably be contacting Master Yen for some legal help. Besides, I think that the successor for this is going to be there." Ranma waved the journal.

"Then you must go," Sha-Fu spoke as he entered the room. "That journal holds the secret to a Jyuken style that would be a great help to all. A worthy successor would be welcome. Perhaps, they will be your equal."

"I'd love for that to be true, but who knows. I'll see what I can find," Ranma stated. "Let's hope something positive comes from this trip." Sha-Fu and Miki both look at each other as Ranma becomes lost in his thoughts.

"We'll leave you to pack. Just remember, whatever happens, you will always have a home with the GekiJyuKen," Sha-Fu explained.

"Thank you, Master Sha-Fu," Ranma bowed towards the person who practically raised him. He quickly started to gather things together and put them in a pack. It wasn't long before he was ready. He exited the building dressed in his standard pants, black and white shoes, and a black jacket with a white front. Around his wrists were two black and white braces, and he wore a matching set of shin guards. He had his backpack on his back. He was surprised to see not just Sha-Fu and Miki waiting, but also Ran, Restu and Jan.

"Ranma, Ranma! Good luck on your journey! I bet it will be ukya-ukya!" Jan excitedly shouted. He jumped repeatedly around Ranma, before he was suddenly put in a headlock by the shorter boy. Jan squealed as he was given a noogie by Ranma. "Ran! Restu! Help! Ranma is being gura-gura!"

"Keep being yourself, Jan. When I find my mother, I'll make certain that you're one of the first to meet her," Ranma stated. This got a wide grin from the tiger boy.

"We'll be waiting for you to get back," Retsu stated, getting a handshake from the boy. "I'll miss my sparring partner."

"I shouldn't be gone for more than a month, two tops. The moment I find my mother, I will probably be dragging her here to meet everyone," Ranma smirked. "Then we can show her how fast I can kick your butt."

"Dream on," Restu shot back.

"Keep your training up," Ran said. "Remember, diligence day by day."

"Refines the heart," Ranma finished. "I'll remember, Ran-mama."

"Keep it up, and I'll ground you," Ran grinned with a hard stare. Ranma turned ramrod straight.

"Yes, ma'am," Ranma saluted. Ran and Miki both had to hold back a laugh while Jan didn't even try. "You'll be getting it next time we spar." Ranma growled as he tried to put Jan in another headlock.

"Haha! Ranma can't get me. Ranma fugu-fugu!" Jan laughed. He was ducking and weaving around Ranma's wild strikes. Just when Ranma was about to get Ranma, a paw stopped his movement.

"Now, Ranma. I know you and Jan want to continue playing, and Master Elehung would be happy with you following his style. We don't want you to waste anymore time. It's already past noon, and you have quite a distance to travel. Especially since you will be walking there, won't you?" Sha-Fu grinned, even as he held Ranma back. A smirk is all he got from his longest disciple.

"You know me well. It's only about a day's travel by foot, and I'm certain that I will learn something along the way. Through oneself and others, there is training," Ranma proudly stated. He pulled out his little drum and hit it once making a *Don* sound.

"Well said. Good luck, Ranma," Sha-Fu quietly stated.

"I'll be back soon, everyone!" Ranma shouted. He started to run down the road, but he made certain to wave to his family.

"Bye bye!" Jan waved back, jumping up and down.

"I'm a little worried to see him go," Miki finally stated. Ranma had just vanished over the horizon. "He's still the youngest of the six Rangers. Are we certain Ranma will be fine?"

"Ranma is the only one with training under all 7 of the Kensei. He's perfected Jyuken to a level higher than most. I'm certain that he will rise above any challenges he may face," Sha-Fu said.

"Maybe when he gets back, he'll have found a girlfriend," Jan noted innocently, picking at his nose. Ran and Restu looked at each other before shaking their heads.

"That will be the day!" They both shouted.

"It's not that shocking. Ranma has had half the females at SCRTC after him, including yourself, Ran. Even Mele held a brief attraction to him," Miki teased.

"Don't remind me," Ran mumbled with a large blush.

"It's official. I'm lost," Ranma groaned to himself. It was a little after noon that he had managed to get to the Nerima district no problem, but he had quickly got lost in the winding streets of the district. He kept looking around before he spotted a young woman, a few years older than him, walking down the street struggling to carry what looked like seven bags of groceries. Forgetting his worries, he quickly approached the woman.

"Excuse me," Ranma gently prodded as he neared the girl. Up close, he could see that she was a few inches shorter than him and dressed in a simple yellow dress. "Do you need some help?" The woman was so shocked that she dropped all but two of them. Faster than most would see, the remaining five bags were expertly caught and held by Ranma.

"Oh my! Thank you. It would have been a disaster if I dropped those," the woman gasped. She looked on at the ease that Ranma carried the groceries and at the two remaining bags in her hands. "I don't want to be a bother, and I'm certain that you have somewhere you need to go."

"That won't be a problem," Ranma said. He looked around before comically leaning down to whisper. "Don't tell anyone, but I'm a little lost. I've never been to the Nerima district before, and I can't seem to find my way around. I'll help you with the groceries, and then you can point me in the correct direction. It's not like I'm in a rush." His response got a brief giggle from the woman.

"If you're certain," the woman said. "Please follow me." She started to walk down the street in a specific direction. Ranma followed, but he noticed something about his new companion. Without the heavy bags, she walked with grace, purpose and harmony with the environment. She constantly greeted people on the street and didn't hesitate to pet a stray cat. The two walked quietly down the road. Suddenly, she paused mid-step.

"I'm sorry. I just realized that we never introduced ourselves. I'm Kasumi Tendo. Please call me Kasumi," the woman introduced herself with a graceful bow.

"I'm Ranma Hidehira. Please call me Ranma, Kasumi," Ranma bowed back. He blinked a few times which caused Kasumi to finally notice the cat-like eyes of her new friend. "You wouldn't happen to be heading to the Tendo Dojo."

"That is my home, Ranma. Do you have business with Father?" Kasumi asked.

"Not quite. I've recently heard that a Genma Saotome is staying at your home as a guest. I have business with him if he is still there," Ranma explained.

"He is currently a guest at our home. He has a student that is currently traveling to the dojo himself, but he should be here in the next few days based on Saotome-san's account. He mentioned something about having a terrible sense of direction," Kasumi replied. "I don't mean to speak ill of a guest, but he isn't bringing out the best in Father. All he seems to do is celebrate joining the schools and consuming large amounts of food and sake, but I'm not certain about how they want to accomplish this."

"Hopefully, it works out. I just have some quick business with Genma before I will be out of all of your hair," Ranma stated. At the curious look, Ranma continued. "Has Genma told you about his son?"

"Yes, he said he lost his son, Ranma…" Kasumi trailed off with wide eyes.

"Yup. I'm Genma's biological son, though I don't consider myself his son in a meaningful way," Ranma grunted, shifting the groceries. "I was separated from him when I was 6 and found by a martial arts master with little memory. He basically raised me with his friends. We've kept an ear out for Genma, but he hasn't stayed anywhere long enough to reach him. I'm really just here to figure out where my mother is."

"I see," Kasumi mumbled. "I hope you find what you're looking for." The rest of the trip continued in silence. Eventually they reached a large property with a stone wall surrounding it. Ranma let out a long whistle as he looked at the house.

"Wow. You have quite the place," Ranma breathed out as he looked at the building.

"We really only own it because it has been in the family for generations. The Tendos were once a very prominent samurai family," Kasumi said. She shifted the bags to open the gate. "Please come in. I'll introduce you to the family before I make some tea."

"That would be much appreciated, Kasumi," Ranma gratefully accepted the offer.

"I'm home! And I brought a guest!" Kasumi called out as she entered the house.

"Ah, Kasumi. Welcome home," a rather tall man dressed in a worn gi greeted from the living room. "Who is your guest? Did Genma's boy finally make it back?"

"Give me a moment to put the groceries away, Father. Our guest was gracious enough to help me carry some of the groceries home. Why don't you get the girls and Saotome-san while I put them away? He has business with Saotome-san," Kasumi suggested. She got a nod from her father. "If you would follow me." Kasumi led Ranma to the kitchen, and together, they put all the food away.

"Kasumi, do you mind if I make a pot of tea? Miki and Master Sha-Fu finally shared their recipe with me, and I've been dying to try it out. It's my favorite drink," Ranma asked, pulling out a bag of tea leaves. He was openly drooling at the taste of it.

"I'm always up for trying new things. If you insist," Kasumi said. "I'll start on snacks for everyone while you make the tea."

"Thank you," Ranma responded. He placed the kettle on the stove and placed a few of the tea leaves in a tea bag before placing them in the kettle. He placed his hand over the kettle, and a small glow enveloped the kettle as it started to rapidly boil. In his other hand, he was reading the instructions. He started to hum as he kept a close eye on the tea.

"Oh my. What is that?" Kasumi asked, looking over Ranma's shoulder at the glowing teapot. Ranma was briefly startled by Kasumi, but he focused on the tea. "I've never seen a teapot glow before. Is this some martial art?"

"This is the basis of the martial arts I use, Jyuken. Jyuken produces ki which I am infusing into the tea both to control the temperature and as a control exercise," Ranma explained. At some unspoken time, Ranma pulled his hand away from the kettle. "I've only now started to get the level of control needed to make this tea, but I'm happy with what I have." He placed the tea kettle on a tray with several tea cups.

"Everyone is in the family room waiting for us," Kasumi said with her own tray filled with snacks. Ranma followed her holding his tea tray in one hand. A very short walk later, he was led to a table with Kasumi's father, two girls that were clearly Kasumi's sisters, and a fat man dressed in a dirty white gi and a bandana. Ranma and Kasumi set down the trays for everyone and took their seats at the table. Ranma sat in between Kasumi and the Tendo father. Across the table, the fat man looked at Ranma with distrustful eyes.

"Ranma, this is my father, Soun Tendo, my two sisters, Nabiki and Akane, and Saotome-san," Kasumi stated, pointing to each member of the family and guest. Ranma got up from his seat and bowed to them all.

"I'm Ranma Hidehira. It is a pleasure to meet you," Ranma said, bowing to his hosts. He retook his seat and with a brief pause to let his hosts get some food, he helped himself to some of the snacks and tea. "These are delicious. Thank you, Kasumi." Ranma's comment got a bright smile from the homely girl.

"Kasumi, this tea is fantastic. Are you trying a new blend?" Soun asked. He got enthusiastic nods from the other girls.

"No father, Ranma was kind enough to offer some of his own. It is quite wonderful," Kasumi stated, drinking from her own cup.

"Ah, yes. Hidehira-san, Kasumi mentioned that you had business with Genma," Soun said. The other occupants, especially the fat man paused when they heard this. "What do you need with my old friend?" Ranma took a sip from his cup and placed it down before he spoke.

"You see, my last name wasn't always Hidehira. I used to be Ranma Saotome before I was separated from Genma when I was about six. I've come to get some answers from him," Ranma explained. He observed the other's reactions. Soun seemed to be on the verge of tears. Kasumi continued to eat with a seemingly oblivious smile. Nabiki had a calculating look on her face while Akane just looked at Ranma with thinly veiled disgust. Genma, however, looked at Ranma with anger in his face.

"You ungrateful boy! I took you on that training trip to become a great martial artist, and it was only because you were too weak to withstand it. Now, you come back here to get answers!" Genma screamed, jumping to his feet and lunging at the seated Ranma. Ranma immediately responded by grabbing the outstretched arms of Genma and performing a perfect circle throw. This caused Genma to go flying through the air and landing in front of the koi pond.

"Pardon me, but it appears that my worthless father and I have some issues to work out," Ranma ground out before he jumped towards a recovered Genma. "Listen old man. I don't really want anything to do with you. If you would calm down, and let us talk, I don't have to rough you up."

"Quiet boy! I am your father! You have a duty to uphold to me and the Saotome clan!" Genma bellowed as he lept towards Ranma again. This time he started to send several punches and kicks in rapid succession towards the young man. Ranma effortlessly blocked or deflected by Ranma.

"In case you haven't realized, I am not a Saotome! I'm a Hidehira! I owe you nothing," Ranma rebuked. He grabbed an overextended kick and pulled Genma closer to him. He then unleashed several punches to the overweight man's chest. He finished it with a roundhouse kick on Genma's head, sending him to the pool below. Ranma waited a bit for Genma to resurface. He was quite surprised to see a panda explode from the pool.

"So you fell in Jusenkyo," Ranma grunted, as he weaved through the swipes of the panda. "With a panda body, you'll be able to take more punishment!" He dived inside the panda's reach before he landed a massive haymaker on Genma's chest. It caused the panda to skid backwards. Ranma used the lapses in attacks to bring his fists towards his chest. A small white aura formed around Ranma's fist.

"Dragon Fist Geki Waza Blast Blast Strike!" Ranma intoned as he unleashed a downward corkscrew punch on Genma's gut. A strong gust of wind, unnoticed by everyone, was generated as the fist hit the gut, launching Genma into the ground. Genma bounced against the ground before he fell limp. Ranma paused a moment before he relaxed. He walked away from Genma and back to the table. After taking a seat, Ranma addressed the stunned watchers.

"I apologize for what you had to see. It seems that I still had some resentment towards my father after the events that caused us to separate," Ranma stated.

"You just took out one of the best martial artists I've ever seen," Soun whispered in awe. Ranma gave a self-confident smirk.

"What can I say? I've been trained by some of the best to be better," Ranma said proudly.

"You're not that good," Akane grunted at Ranma. Ranma paid no attention to her, since…

"Wah! The schools will be joined with such a strong partner," Soun started wailing.

"Oh great, Daddy is still on this," Nabiki groaned. Ranma tilted his head like a cat.

"What on earth is he talking about?" Ranma asked. Nabiki pulled out her hand expectantly.

"1000 yen, and I'll tell you," Nabiki stated. Ranma looked at her incredulously before he turned to Akane and Kasumi. Ranma only tangentially noticed Nabiki's eye starting to twitch.

"Would either of you please explain why Tendo-san is crying a river in the literal sense?" Ranma asked, pouring himself another cup of tea. His question seemed to snap Soun out of his fit so he could address Ranma.

"You see, back when Genma and I were studying martial arts, we had decided to split our original school of martial arts. I would focus on ground techniques while Genma would refine the ariel techniques," Soun began. "We decided that if we could combine the two completed schools into one, we would create an ultimate school of martial arts. To accomplish this, we would engage our children."

"I see," Ranma stated, taking a sip of his tea. The Tendo's collectively blinked at the statement. Suddenly, Soun was covered in tea by Ranma's spittake. "What kind of stupid plan was that? Why didn't you just continue to train using both styles?" The sisters blinked at the massive hole in the story.

"Um, well, Saotome and I wanted to refine our specific styles before we taught people," Soun frantically tried to explain. "But the bottom line is, we both decided to make an honor pledge to wed one of our children to each other."

"Yeah, I'm not going to do that," Ranma stated plainly to the wide eyes of the Tendos. Panda-Genma seemed to shake when Ranma said this.

"Good. Like I want to marry a pervert like you," Akane snarled. Ranma looked at her with hard eyes. The image of a tiger appearing behind him. Akane suddenly looked frightened. Strangely, no one else noticed anything.

"But it's for family honor!" Soun cried out. Ranma took a few deep breaths and continued to drink the tea.

"That is all well and good, but there is a few issues with that. Firstly, family honor will not truly be damaged by an engagement going through. Many engagements have historically broken apart with no loss of honor between the two families, either through outside factors or just incompatibility of partners," Ranma started. Soun looked speechless at this answer while Nabiki started to roll some information in her head.

"He's right, Daddy. Many engagements don't last, but the families involved were all the stronger for it. It showed that they could work together," Nabiki responded.

"Secondly, I am not a Saotome. I do not use the Saotome style of martial arts. I am a practitioner of Jyuken. Therefore, I am not someone who falls under this pledge," Ranma stated. Soun seemed to deflate at Ranma's words.

"I've never heard of Jyuken before," Soun mumbled to himself.

"It must be really weak," Akane grumbled. Ranma visibly bristled with the hairs on his head starting to fray ever so slightly. He took a few deep breaths before he was able to control himself.

"The Jyuken is a fighting style that focuses on emulating beasts and connecting with one's inner beast. Everyone has a specific beast that they are attuned to, but they can learn about others. My main styles are the Dragon Fist and Black Tiger Fist, and we are always looking for new students," Ranma explained before shaking his head. "But I am getting sidetracked. I came here to talk to Genma for help finding my mother. It's been at least a decade since I've seen her, but I want to find her. Problem is, the old man is the best bet I have." Ranma turned to Kasumi.

"I hate to be a bother, but do you know a place where I can stay for a few days? I have a feeling that it will be a struggle to get my father to open up," Ranma asked.

"I suppose you can stay in the dojo for a few days if necessary. You would just have to get up early enough not to disturb Akane when she goes to train," Kasumi stated. Akane seemed to get extremely angry.

"Tendo-san, do you mind at all if I stay?" Ranma asked. Soun Tendo seemed to consider it for a moment.

"I suppose it wouldn't be too much of an issue. I don't want to stand in the way of finding one's mother," Soun finally said.

"I thank you for your hospitality," Ranma stated, bowing once again. Before he could ask for directions, Akane exploded.

"Daddy, you can't be letting this boy into my dojo! Who knows what he'll get into there!" Akane shouted, spitting out the word boy like it was poison. She stormed out of the room after saying that.

"There is also the issue of paying to stay. We don't exactly have the necessary funds to host another guest," Nabiki cut in. "Saotome-san eats enough for 3 people, and you've really got into the sake lately."

"Now, Nabiki. Ranma is a guest, and…" Soun started before he was interrupted by Ranma.

"Here you go," Ranma easily said. He handed Kasumi a large stack of yen notes. "This is about 100,000. It should cover the cost of my stay and some utilities."

"Oh my. You really didn't have to do that, Ranma," Kasumi said. Nabiki was behind Ranma, rapidly shaking her head at that.

"I couldn't oppose without giving back. I have more than enough money with my job both providing me with living space and most meals," Ranma plainly stated. "If you really won't accept it as rent, use it for some gifts. You've provided me with a lot of hospitality that most wouldn't give."

"Thank you, Ranma," Nabiki interjected before Kasumi could. "It will be a great help to the finances." She shot an imploring look at Kasumi who relented and pocketed the money. "Now, I have some homework I need to work on. Daddy, can you call Dr. Tofu to see if Saotome-san needs any medical help?"

"Just let me get him in, and I'll call," Soun said. He splashed some tea on his unconscious friend to turn him back to human and dragged him into the house. In a moment, Ranma and Kasumi were the only people left with the mess.

"I should start cleaning up," Kasumi said.

"I'll help," Ranma responded. He held up his hand when he saw the protest in Kasumi's posture. "Before you say anything, at my home, we help to clean up our messes. It is how I was raised, especially when someone else made the food. It becomes my responsibility to clean up." His words silenced Kasumi who relented and let Ranma help her. Together, the two quickly cleaned up the kitchen and table. While they were cleaning, Ranma suddenly spoke up.

"I wasn't lying about Jyuken looking for new students," Ranma said.

"I don't know if Father would let Akane learn any other style than Tendo Anything Goes," Kasumi obviously stated. She was working on drying the dishes.

"Akane wasn't the one I think would be a good fit for the school. I'm offering to teach you Jyuken," Ranma corrected, turning to face her.

"Oh my," Kasumi said. She was so shocked that she dropped the plate that she was drying. Ranma quickly dived down and caught it.

"That was close," Ranma exhaled. He got up and handed the dish back to Kasumi.

"Thank you, Ranma, but what do you mean, you would teach me Jyuken? Akane is the martial artist of the family, not me," Kasumi questioned. She seemed visibly shaken by his question.

"While Akane has talent for martial arts, she isn't what we are looking for with Jyuken. She has far too much anger, and she most likely wouldn't listen to instruction from people her age," Ranma said, shaking his head. He saw a minuscule nod from Kasumi. He motioned for Kasumi to sit at the table. A new kettle of tea was placed between them as Ranma sat down. "Jyuken is the Beast Fist where we learn specific fighting styles based off of animals in the wild. GekiJyuKen, or Fierce Beast Fist, focuses on 3 core ideas that influence growth." He paused to pour himself a new cup of tea and saw that Kasumi was enraptured by this.

"The three ideas are Body, Technique, and Heart. Body focuses on pure strength and defense. These users are oftentimes the strongest and toughest of GekiJyu. Technique is all about movement and obviously technique. They are hard to hit and hard to counter. Lastly, Heart is all about putting everything into your training." Ranma took a sip of his tea as he said this.

"When I helped you carry the groceries, I saw how much of yourself that you put into everything you do. Along with that, you have quite the fantastic technique. You embody the Heart and Technique that we would be happy to accept in GekiJyuken," Ranma finished.

"I don't really know what to say. Father always said I wasn't meant for martial arts, and I still have the responsibility to my family," Kasumi replied.

"That's fine. I'm not expecting you to make a choice right now. However, I ask that you read this before you make your decision. It was written by one of the founders of Jyuken, and I believe it would be the perfect fit. As for your father, I have a feeling that if it isn't in the harder style of martial arts, he will not use it," Ranma said, placing a worn book in front of the speechless girl. He got up and did a few stretches. "I'm going to practice for a bit and then meditate. We'll discuss this later. All I ask is that you give it some thought." Having said his piece, Ranma emptied the teapot into a thermos, placed the pot in the sink, and left.

"Oh my," Kasumi whispered. She stared at the book with wide eyes, a thousand thoughts rushing in her head.

Omake: Geki Academy - Ki

A camera pans into a wide training room with Ranma and Miki standing in the center.

"Welcome everyone to Jyuken. Today we will be discussing one of the key aspects of advanced Jyuken, Ki," Miki said, pointing to a board with the word Ki. "Ki is naturally generated by everyone just by living, but Jyuken can produce specific kinds of Ki. GekiJyuken produces Geki, formed by the heart of justice of the user. Ranma if you would demonstrate." She motioned to Ranma who nodded and did a few poses.

"Geki Waza Whirl Whirl Bullet," Ranma called out. A white aura formed around him before he punched forward. A silver robotic dragon flew out from Ranma and around the room. Miki had to duck as it flew past her head. It thankfully dissipated before it could do any damage.

"Though perhaps we should take this outside before Ranma takes down a building," Miki suggested, smoothing out her shirt.

Chapter End

We get to see a bit on how Ranma developed. He still has a bit of foot-in-mouth but he is also more intelligent, mature, and logical. He will think things through provided his buttons aren't pushed too hard. I'm trying to create a delicate balance between the maturity of a warrior and the fact that he is a 16 year-old boy. He is composed in most cases, but he does become aggressive with fights or encounters something stupid. If you noticed, Jan tends to bring out the child in Ranma. Though the Ranma attracting every girl he meets is for humor only… mostly. He did catch the eye of Sukeban Ran which I will eventually make an omake of.

Ranma's personal training motto is: "Through oneself and others, there is training." I'm trying to reflect on Ranma's new life and how he will learn from anything to improve himself and others.

Kasumi is getting more focus than usual which I feel like should have been something that happened in Ranma ½ originally. I have plans, and I believe I left enough hints to give you a guess on what.

Did you know that there is a whole dictionary for Jan-Speak? It's something I found out as I was researching. Gura-gura means "bad behavior" while ukya-ukya means "to have fun." Fugu-fugu - smell, so Jan is saying Ranma stinks.
