Dudley was on the train. A chubby blond boy sat beside him. "Hi, I'm Neville Longbottom." Dudley shook his hand, "Dudley Dursley. Can I see your toad?" "'Sure." Neville handed his toad to Dudley
"His name's Trevor." "Trevor the toad, cool."
"You're experiencing something new, just like me." Ron was opening the door, "Did you hear Potter is supposed to be here this year?" Dudley gulped, "Harry has no magic." "What would you know!?" "I live with him." "We all know Potter doesn't have siblings!" "He's my cousin. My mum and dad raise him." "No way!"
Snape, who was being forced to supervise these children on the train sighed, "Yes, it is unbelievable, but Potter has no magic. Now please leave these boys alone or take a seat."
Ron sat down. Dudley opted to say nothing about this intrusion. Neville, trying to steer the conversation away from Potter, asked, "You said something new, have you been in hiding?" "Uhh no." Dudley rubbed his hair back, "My parents aren't magical, I never seen the wizarding world before." Ron's eyes went into shock. "You're muggleborn!" Dudley nodded.
Little did they know Draco was listening. "Maybe they can steal magic." Draco was going to make his father proud, but he needed to play the long con and befriend Dudley. He could use being close to Potter as an excuse.
