There is a disturbance in the force.
I don't feel the warmth of my bed or the random noise of my noise machine.
I start to notice the fact that I am on the hard, dirty floor. The distant chirping of birds and rustling of wind through trees. My everything hurts as I try to move with what feels like a fading headache.
"No more chimichongas before bed ever again"
I, with much effort pry my eyelids open.
So there I laid waiting for my eyes to adjust to the light of what appears to be a forest as the mid-day sun hangs over head.
Having checked my surroundings I decided to check my person. As I looked down I noticed I'm still in my pajamas consisting of a pair of black basketball shorts, and a casual white mono-color t-shirt I went to bed in.
There is a glaring problem though I'm shorter than I remember.
"What the hell happened"
As I said that I notice the higher octave of my voice.

That is when I saw my smart watch start to buzz. It appeared to have gotten a few upgrades somehow. As I study it I notice a little button with a flashing green colored outline of a circle. Guessing it would do something I press it. It lights up and shows what appears to be a holographic screen.

You have/had died and as your soul was making its way to the afterlife it got lost in the void. Luckily your soul crashed into a system looking for a new user. As the new user the system randomized itself for a world that held a fondness in the user's heart since the laws of users original world would not allow him back. The class system work off the class the user is with the user having to max out a class before they can choose another one. With said classes containing special powers, abilities, and knowledge for the user to eventually gain access to. Like with any system there is also the ability to chose quests/missions to complete for rewards based on you're actions,plans, and current timeline.

I watched as a glowing green circle in the middle of the screen was being filled as the percentage went up.
As I was still processing that I had died and I had now way and couldn't go back to my home world. The circle had finished filling and the screen changed.

Part of the boons granted to system users is the inability to share information about the system. Not even psychics going through the users memories would be able to get information on the system all it would appear as is 'blank'. The user is also given a starter pack so to speak of 100,000 dollars USD or this universe's equivalent, a free ticket to build a home base for the users use, shop function,map function, and gacha function.
(I don't remember chaotics money system but given Perim I'm gonna go with Harry potter-esk monetery system for perim with the same names Galleon's,Sickle's, and Knut's)

As such I pressed the starter pack notification.
It opened to a list of what I had gotten.

As I stared at the holographic screen. I took a stab at it and guessed galleons are a monetary denomination of the perim monetary system. I pressed the check mark to proceed.
The screen shifted to what looks like a character screen. It even had a humanoid figure with my cloths on it. It showed what I guess are my stats. It even showed me the amount of money I have. Then there was an arrow at the top which I guess would take me to a different screen. But I with held from touching it while I explore what I'm calling my stats screen.

Just from the page I could understand it as a basic build best suited for my class. Also that I was very weak due to being not even level one.
As such I decided to press the arrow. It took me to a page with bold letters telling me it was the inventory page. It held a list admittedly a small one of all the items I have at the moment stored in it. Which basically added up to the money, and the base ticket waiting to be used with a miniature image next to them.

I decided to wait until I finished exploring both the system and my current area before I use the ticket.
I hit the arrow button again since it was a very basic inventory screen.
It took me to a screen with a list of ten items with their picture below them with their price next to their names.

I was taking a full minute to look at the list available. It would appear that theme has more to do with the item that appear. as such i could change it to say Pokémon and Pokémon related item would have a much higher chance to appear in the shop when it renewed. I even considered buying some of them now. I decided against such an action until I finish looking through the systems different pages.
As such after vowing to come back for that light Saber. I continued on and pressed the arrow for the next page.

As it would appear I was on the gacha page. I am tempted to roll a gacha and see what I get. I was interested in the apparent 4 different gachas especially the person and creature one. I can guess that it would allow me to summon a person or creature from the omniverse if i got that person/creature from it.
For now I continued on and hit the next arrow only to end up at the stats screen. With the addition of a few simple icons.
Since it would appear I'm finished exploring the system pages. I decided to go to the shop page and buy the light saber,gun,Hoverboard and Pokémon egg and changed the shop theme to Pokémon.
I chose these 4 items for a simple reason I had decided to explore my current area after the system. As such I will need protection and transportation/ a means of escape.
The light Saber was for mid to close range combat. With the gun being my long range weapon. The hoverboard would be a quick escape and efficient exploration tool.
This leaves the poke egg I was actually inspired by a fanfiction I read called villainous ventures where in which the MC had genetically modified his Pokémon to be the best of the best. With all the different creatures in Perim I thought to do something similar. Using the different Pokémon genes spliced with creature genetics I could create my own Tribe or offer to the different tribes powerful soldiers.
I decided to change the shop theme to 'Pokémon genetic sample' to help me get as much as I can for my possible future plan.
I quickly purchased the mentioned items.

It admittedly didn't make that much of a dent in my finances. But without a proper way to gather income I need to be frugal currently.
I quickly equip the revolver and the light saber.
The revolver is a sleek silver finish with an ivory handle.
The light saber handle looks almost completely like it did in the movies and animated shows only its real.
I decided it would be best to test the light saber.
It activated by clicking a button on the side. So with a strange mix of a buzzing whirl the 'blade' appeared. The so called 'blades of my light saber was green.
"Gotta admit I'm disappointed it wasn't purple or black."
"OH well it's just a cosmetic thing anyway with the store and gacha I'm sure I can get a kyber crystal with the corresponding colors in time."
I turn my newly acquired light saber off so as not to alert whatever could be around the area to my location due to its light.
I take another look at the shop noticing the renew option. It cost me some money but it was relatively small to purchase so I clicked renew and so being 50 Galleons lighter the list underwent a cascade of light that as it went down the list the items changed.

As i am Looking through the shops list I realize for my idea I'm gonna have to purchase the whole list.
The most important for me would be the book of DNA it would give me the geneticist skill. The skill I'll need to start my plan. It would save me a tremendous amount of time to.

Now that my shopping spree is over its time to explore.
I go to my stats page and look at the icons.

I clicked on the map Icon which opened up to a full screen. It was showing myself as a blue dot in a circle with everything outside of the circle blacked out. It showed that I was in a forest region and that I was near what appeared as a dirt road to the south of me.
I decided head south till I reached the supposed road.

-30 minutes later-
"Fuck you Fucking thorns"
I said as I fought my way out of a thorny bush on my way to the road.
The road of which my map says is coming up any second through the foliage.
As I walk I started to notice the ground becoming more worn like a dirt road. I should double check my map.
"Yep I'm on the road awesome but shit can I be distracted easily."
Left or right that is the question isn't it. As i look down the roads to my left and right. I decided to stick it to it and picked up a stick on the side of the road. I stood it up which ever way it falls towards most I take.
'Thud'
"Right it is then."
As I walk I couldn't help but try and think of something to pass the time it will take to walk the road.
I decided to spend the time trying to flesh out my plan for the geneticist skill I get once I read my book.
I have thought to splice creature DNA with Pokémon DNA to create new creatures. Kinda like the the mad scientist creature that created the starfish that could grow.
I figured I could splice danian DNA with BUG type Pokémon DNA.
"Fuck"
"I'm an idiot I've got a living cyclizar in my inventory and I'm not using it like the species like and it could speed up my travel time"
Realizing my blunder I retrieve the pokeball containing said dragon type.
So without further wait I throw my pokeball.
"Cyclizar I choose you." 'Damn that was so embarrassing damn you childhood goals.'
With a burst of light and a thump from the returning pokeball to my hand.
The cyclizar stands before me in all its normal/dragon type glory.
It decidedly looks around in curiosity at the new and unfamiliar environment its appeared in. Making a few sounds that sound like the rumbling of a vehicle that sound oddly inquisitive.
"Vvrghh?"
At its inquisitive staring I hold my hand out to it palm facing her.
"Nice to meet yah Cyclizar I'm Azmuth I hope we can get along."
She stared in my eyes unblinking-ly as If to assess my qualifications.
She looked away as she sniffed my hand and leaned into my touch. I could only guess she like or was okay with what she saw saw cause she made rumblings like mix between a revving engine and a purr as she rubbed my hand.
"So would you be up for me to ride you for awhile girl."
She appeared to like that idea very much if the open mouth with her tongue sticking out and excited body language were any indication.
As I mounted and held onto her I told her.
"Go as fast as you want girl but be mindful of potential dangers."
She excitedly nodded with a loud revving engine like roar/bark.
As she was blazing a trail on the road I decided to try and think of what I will need for my base. Obviously numerous and diverse sleeping quarters would be a given thing. Next would be a big kitchen/dining hall. After that it would be a few training facilities both for basic exercise and creature/Pokémon exercises. Finally would be multiple labs large enough for the potential project's.
Without even realizing it we had completely passed the forest. I could barely even make it out from the distance we crossed.as we did we came into view of what looked like a city. There is only would city in Perim above ground not in a desert or is a mountain and that kiru city the capital of the overworlder tribe...
"Head toward the city girl"
And so we continued on our way to the city.

As we got close to the the gates we definitely drew some attention. But not an overly worrying amount of attention.
"Halt"
I was stopped by the gate guards as we were about to enter the city proper.
A two gaurds had walked towards us"Human what is your business here in kiru city."
"What breed of beast is that you're riding human." Questioned the two guards.
"My name's Azmuth, and this here is my mount a Cyclizar that's the name of her species by the way. Now as for my business that would be of research of my chosen field of study."
"What would said 'field of study' be called and its purpose." Aggressively asked the leading gate guard
"Well if you'll kindly give me some room I can actually give you a demonstration of it."I said with a Cat that ate the canary smile.
With Confused and slightly curious looks in their eyes the guards stepped away from me.
I took a rock off the road and started drawing a transmutation circle in the dirt. In order to get a wow fact I would go with a FMA transmutation circle.
Once I finished with the transmutation circle I asked guards" well are you ready to see the field of study Mr. guards" was spoken in a humorous tone.
Feeling left out of the loop and starring to get angry the leading guard replied"hurry it up already we're holding traffic for this.".
As such without delay I crouched and clapped my hands focusing my energy into my show of alchemy.
"Bzzt"
With a flash of light and electricity blinding the passers-by and the guards. When everyone opened their eyes it was with wonderment for in front of them stood a stone statue of Maxxor with that looked like it had Ben pulled or molded to the very ground.
With bewilderment and hesitation the the gaurds broke the stunned silence" What did you do human?".
I spoke With confidence as I explained what had happened before their collective eyes " that my good guard would be Alchemy.".
"What in maxxors name is Alchemy human?"
Spoke someone from behind me with a feminine tone asked.
I turned to answer the unknown voice and came face to chest with the big cat herself Intress.
Blushing with embarrassment due to our height difference I answered " Alchemy is the science of equivalent exchange. Such as I did with the statue over here as I'm sure you noticed I needed to prepare a circle with symbols and markings etc that is what is known a transmutation circle. What it did was 3 steps deconstruction, comprehension, and reconstruction I deconstructed the ground. I then comprehended the make up of the ground. I then reconstructed the ground into a statue of compacted dirt in the form of Maxxor.". I said with an air of confidence as I was teaching the audience of my skill
She looked at me and the statue inquisitive-ly like she was studying me.
"Interesting human I've never seen a chaotic player do this Alchemy you speak of though can you explain that."asked the sexy tigress with a raised eyebrow.
With surety I spoke " that would be because I'm not a chaotic player I'm a traveling scientist" I finished
She looked surprised at my admission of not being a chaotic player " so wait if you're not a chaotic player how did you get to perim?" she finished with heavy confusion.
With a plan forming I informed her "well I'm a dimensional traveler I travel the multiverse and learn from the world's I visit unfortunately something happened in the void between worlds due to it I've been laid low so to speak and am currently stuck in Perim for an undefinable period of time." I spoke with some levity of my so called 'worisome situation'. I then spoke with some happiness "on the bright side I'm mainly a geneticist and with all these interesting creatures to study I can pass the time quite nicely advancing my studies." I finished with light smile.
