CHAPTER II
When Simon Belmont and Clare Shepherd entered Dracula's Castle, three black leopards were already stalking them as their prey. One black leopard charged right at Clare. Simon managed to protect her from the charging black leopard. Then, the two of them advanced on with the adventure when the other two black leopards fled the scene. That was when Simon wanted to talk to Clare.
"So, you say that your scout leader was killed and three other scouts were abducted?" asked Simon.
"That's right." Clare said. "By the way, it was unknown what they were abducted by. The person did not describe it fully to me."
"I see." Simon said. "Then we will just have to find out for ourselves then. Is that alright with you?"
"Yes, sir." Clare said. "I am okay with this."
"Then let's go." Simon said. Simon and Clare later went off into the unknown to fight monsters and collect weapons and items from the chests inside the castle.
Meanwhile in a tall tower of the castle, the three scout leaders that Clare Shepherd was separated from were all trapped in a cage. Then, the infamous Count Dracula appeared before them.
"You have broken the rules." Dracula said. "You disobeyed the laws that prevent outsiders from trespassing into Castlevania."
"You must release us! We were sent here for a study program for our history class, not to be tortured by damned unhumanic beasts like you!"a female scout said.
"It does not look like I really give a damn about why you were sent here." Dracula said. "Now, let's get you out of here."
"For what?!" the female scout asked in shock.
"Torture. Plain torture, that is." answered Dracula with an evil smirk on his face.
"What?" asked the female scout. "No, I don't deserve this! Honest!"
"Yes you do." said Dracula. "Come on, let's get you into the chamber of death." the female scout was just about to have her life ended.
Back with Simon and Clare Shepherd, they heard screaming as they were fighting off creatures jumping out of water known as Fishmen. Clare wondered what it was. Then, a head was thrown down to Clare. She was screaming bloody murder, wanting to go home. She later ran away to the corridors of the scary castle, only to discover that a vampire bat was waiting for her and Simon once he caught up with her.
"Ah ha ha ha ha, I see you're trying to protect that girl right there…" the vampire bat said.
"Be quiet." Simon angrily said. "I really do not care about you, all I care about is trying to keep this girl safe from the monstrous secrets this world might have."
"Then I might have to KILL YOU! " said the vampire bat. "Come here!" he said as he swooped down to attempt to eat Simon. However, Simon threw Holy Water at the demonic flying creature, immediately killing it in the process. Clare wondered what just happened.
"No time, Clare. Let's go." Simon said. The two of them later ran off to the next area of the castle. Little did Clare know that there were even more frightening creatures awaiting her and Simon.
