Sans was handcuffed to a doorknob. He didn't understand why as no one else was handcuffed at all. But the officer's face said it all, they were not happy with him.

The officer sat in front of a standing Sans. Truthfully, the officer wasn't really inclined to give Sans a seat and hoped this would be a long questioning.

"You met Frisk when they exited the ruins, correct?" "Yeah." Why did the officer's face say that was a bad thing, the kid was safe because of him. He didn't even tell Undyne there was a human in the area. "Please describe your introduction to Frisk."

"When Frisk came out of the ruins door, I knew I had to protect them. So I followed them a bit, making sure I was unnoticed. Then, I accidently stepped on a stick and it broke." Sans tried to remain calm as the officer didn't believe him as is. "So I continued, and introduced myself."

"The stick broke on accident?" The disbelieving officer asked, as Sans nodded. "Then why run to the next tree when Frisk turned around?" "I wanted to see how they would react to threats." Sans shrugged, keeping his casual demeanor, betraying his nervous thoughts. "Is that why you threatened Frisk later on in their journey?" "I felt Frisk ought to know why I kept them safe." The officer eyed Sans up and down, "I think you're lying. Especially about protecting the kid, since you asked them to help your brother capture a human."

The officer stood up, looking into Sans eyes, "I think you purposely outright threatened Frisk into playing along with your brother." "I didn't make Frisk do anything!" Sans yelled. "Yes, a five year old, who was just introduced to a man, who scared them on purpose, just so happened to be willing to play along with this dangerous task." The officer was breathing heavily, with their fists clenched. "The puzzles alone were dangerous, but I have a feeling they were in order to earn Frisk's trust in you. Which you used to your advantage later. Isn't that right, Mr. you earned love?" "There is no need to kill if things can be resolved peacefully!" If the officer wasn't on camera, they would've slapped Sans for that statement alone. "Let me ask you something, skeleton, if you were in an environment where everyone wanted to kill you, how would you react?" Sans thought on the question. He's never really been in that situation. "I probably wouldn't be happy about it." Sans admitted.

"I'm sure." The officer smiled, "We went through all the footage, not just footage involving Frisk." Sans eyes got dark, confirming what the officer already knew, "You killed a human. Help me understand why someone who did murder expects another person who actually has the justification to murder someone, not to." Sans started sweating. He couldn't say Frisk could reset, that would sound like a lie. "Exactly." The officer mused.
