Hello Guys! I hope you all enjoyed the Prologue of the Story. This chapter, Our Main Character Mirai is finally gonna meet our two favorite Valkyries…. Kiana Kaslana and Raiden Mei! Let's see how will he get along with the two of them. So reader's, Let's go!

Chapter 1 – Meeting a Tuna and Lightning

- St Freya's Academy, Dorm Room -

After parting ways with Theresa Apocalypse, One of the teachers of this academy. Mirai finally entered his dorm room and noticed that some areas of the room have female clothes and the room had some female designs. He couldn't help but sigh at his bad luck.

'Great, first my classmates are all girls and now, my dorm mates too?... I have a bad luck…' He groaned mentally, as he kept his luggage aside and settled himself inside the dorm. His phone began to ring up, as he immediately picked it up.

"Mirai! I hope you are enjoying your time with girls around here!" A person from the phone, said it in an enthusiastic tone, as he was happy to see Mirai making friends for once.

"Come on now, Kite. This isn't the time to be making jokes, I already have had enough of terrible luck here" Mirai replied to his friend Kite, as he was laughing at Mirai and teasing him for being a very lucky person.

They decided it was time they got to business as Mirai explained the events that happened on his first day here, to which Kite remained a bit calm and understood the situation. Kite then explained the situation from his side, since he was posing as a spy in Schicksal. He explained the experiments being conducted on other humans and with honkai beasts.

"Yeah… Not only that, they also have a plan involving a clone they sent to the Academy…." Kite warned Mirai about Otto's plans. Mirai remained calm and thought about it, it was an obvious answer.

"I see, it seems that this 'clone' sent to this academy must be none other than one of the students. I will keep an eye out on this person. Thanks Kite" Mirai smiled, feeling the happiness of working alongside his best friend to stop Otto Apocalypse.

However, he noticed a CCTV camera on the dorm room. He immediately took out a small chip like gadget and placed it on the camera. The camera began to glow slowly, until it turned down to normal. Mirai told Kite that he would speak with him later on about this in private, as he maintained back his composure.

'It is a good thing that I came prepared. This chip will modify the footages captured in this room by the CCTV Camera. This will help me to keep my secrets easier' He thought, as his conversation with his best friend was safe, along with the activities that he will do. But, he cannot relax as he has gotten a feeling that it will bring Otto's attention sooner or later.

- St Freya's Academy, Principal's Office -

The Office was very luxurious and had a very good design. It was a normal office, yet it had some feeling of royalty. There were few paintings which were attached on walls, with one of them being Otto Apocalypse being together with his deceased friend and a long time crush, Kallen Kaslana.

Otto looked at the painting, as he couldn't move on from the memory. The day he lost Kallen was the day he felt that he lost his entire world, he couldn't afford to be emotional now as he has to carry out his plans by any means necessary. He went back to his seat and inspected that one of the monitor screens began to alert him.

Otto noticed the dorm room footage, which felt as if it was tampered. He immediately deduced that he must have used a gadget to modify the footage, to make it seem that in the footage, he was having a normal conversation with a friend.

'So, you found a way to bypass my surveillance hm?. Mirai Shinikami, you are really an enigma. But too bad, I am already few steps ahead of you.' Otto Apocalypse smirked, as he found Mirai to be very challenging to crack.

He can feel a part of him being excited, that there is someone on his level of intellect. He can't really wait to use him for his plans. He had also anticipated that Mirai entered the academy for a different purpose.

- St Freya's Academy, Classroom -

The classroom was filled with many aspiring Valkyries, as they were quite enthusiastic of becoming an S-Rank Valkyrie. However, out of all the Valkyries. There were two girls, who were quite often together. Some could say, the friendship between the two was either unique… Or… They would act like couple of sorts.

"Mou! Mei Senpai! This is getting boring!" The girl who has a silver hair, with a slender looking figure was quite bored, as she said it to the said girl's name. She had quite a cheerful yet clumsy attitude, often aspiring to be the strongest Valkyrie.

"Kiana! Just behave properly! Besides, I don't want you to scare off the new student with your behavior!" Mei replied to the said girl.

Raiden Mei, the girl with a long purple hair, tied in a ponytail. She is wearing her Valkyrie Battlesuit. She is often considered to be the most polite yet softspoken Valkyrie.

"Hmph! You mean that student? The one who scored perfect marks in the entrance exam? He must be a fluke!" Kiana replied to Mei, as she was annoyed of the fact that this new student has been stealing Mei's attention. She won't allow this new student to steal Mei away from her.

"I mean… I admit it. The fact that it is impossible that he scored such marks. But still, I can't help but admire that he-" Mei was about to finish the sentence, as she couldn't help but admire the new student for such a feat.

"Don't you dare finish the words! He is a cheater I assure you of that!" Kiana replied once again, as she was hissing at Mei.

She felt more envious, as Mei would often talk about the new student and she didn't want her to be stolen away. However, their chatter was interrupted by the teacher.

The teacher maintained the atmosphere of the classroom's chatter. As she announced that the new student was about to enter the classroom. The Valkyries were immediately aware of the person, as they began their chatter. The only exception being was Kiana, who was unhappy at his arrival here.

The classroom door opened, as the new student.. Who was none other than Mirai Shinikami, has entered the classroom. He scanned the entire class, as it was filled with all girls. He began to feel anxiety and dread, due to his social anxiety and awkwardness. He could feel everyone's stares right at him.

'Oh no. It feels like I am about to faint, Calm down Mirai….' He desperately thought as he took a deep breath and it somewhat helped him to ease his anxiety.

He couldn't allow anyone to notice any signs of his weakness, he has to remain on guard at all costs. Mirai was able to maintain his composure, as some of the Valkyries including Kiana and Mei were quite impressed at the way he was able to remain calm.

"Allow me to Introduce myself, my name is Mirai Shinikami and my aspirations here is to become the Scholar of this Academy." He introduced himself in a calm yet blunt manner, as he didn't want to waste any further time here.

Most of the Valkyries were disappointed at the short yet simple introduction. Some of them expected a good introduction from him. Mei couldn't help but keep looking at him, while Kiana was pouting at him, she really wanted to take a jab at him.

However, Mei's eyes suddenly began to glow ruby red, as her Herrscher side has taken temporary control to observe Mirai. However, that did not go unnoticed in Mirai's eyes, as he immediately noticed Mei's eyes and that he deduced that the Herrscher is in control, as he was already aware of the knowledge related to Herrschers and their hosts.

'This Human is quite interesting, for once, he won't disappoint me…' The Herrscher of Thunder mused in her thoughts, as she couldn't wait to talk to him and show her might to him.

Mirai then walked towards Kiana and Mei, the latter's eyes returning to normal color, as her Herrscher side returned within her. He took a seat next to Mei, as Kiana began to fume in anger.

"Oi New Boy! Mei Senpai is mine! Don't you dare steal her away!" She hissed at Mirai in anger, as she won't allow him to steal Mei's attention.

"Is that your Insult? No wonder why you don't have a Brain, if you are even having one" He replied to Kiana in a stoic manner, as she fumed in anger again. However, he also noticed that Kiana is looking quite similar to Theresa Apocalypse, the teacher that he met earlier.

'They both share similar personalities, facial features…. I can't be wrong but could it be that-' He was about to jump to his conclusion. But before he could do so, his thoughts were again interrupted.

"I am gonna prove to you that I am the best Valkyrie!" Kiana hissed back at him. Before, he could reply, the teacher immediately interfered as she yelled at both of them. Mirai maintained his calm composure, while Kiana was pouting at him.

As much as Mirai wanted to make friends, he decided that it would be better off that he maintained his distance with both of them, as he has to focus on his priorities and that it was better for him to be alone. However, fate truly has other plans in mind….
