I was now 4 and had just started preschool. In the four year time period I'd had in lived in this strange world I'd learned a couple things that seemed kinda important. My mothers name was Hikari Megumi, she was a single mom (no one knows what happened to my dad), she was best friends with Rei Todoroki in highschool and they had begun to reconnect recently, and I had very little memories of your past life.

Basically all that remains of my past memories is the fact that certain people feel like deja vu and I can sense if something doesn't seem right, like if someone said 2+2=5 I can tell somethings wrong but can't tell exactly what. And so as there seemed to be no way to get out of this world or figure out why it seemed so familiar, I decided to just roll with it and play the roll of lovely little daughter. Cause honestly it wasn't that bad.

Today was my first day of preschool. And !this my mother was now dropping me off at the main door.

"Now Etsuko, you behave and listen to the adults here alright. And have fun, try to make some friends!" she said to me with a bright smile trying to be encouraging.

"But what if non of the other kids like me mama," I said nervously fiddling with the hem of my shirt. What can I say! Little kids can be brutal!

"Oh sweetie," she hugged me before pulling back and holding my shoulders so I was forced to look at her, "all the other kids are gonna love you!"

A small smile crossed my face as I hugged her, "ok mama!" I said before racing over to the doors opening them and going inside. I heard Hikari laugh as she turned back to the parking lot and walked away. I turned around to look at the room I was now in. It was a big room with soft foam like mats covering the floor and walls filled with colorful pictures.

A lady bent down to my height and smiled gently at me, "and what's your name hun?"

I smiled shyly and looked down at the ground before answering, "my names Etsuko Megumi."

The lady straightened herself before looking at another lady behind a small desk, "that's the last one none missing we are all good." she directed her gaze back to me, "ok come right this way and you can meet all the other kids."

"ok." She led me to the other side of the room where there was a bunch of other kids playing. As she left me there and went back to the desk one of the other kids caught my attention. He wasn't playing with any of the toys or other kids he was off to the side reading a book. He doesn't look like he would want to bully me on sight. Maybe I should try to become friends with him like mama said I should... As I approached him I noticed his bi-colored hair with one side red and the other winter white.

The boy noticed me approaching him and looked up from the book to look at me. I stumbled in my tracks a bit as I saw his different colored irises, one brown, one blue. His eyes and appearance caught my attention and I couldn't help feeling slightly unsettled by this growing feeling of familiarity going on. Have I met him before? No I would have remembered if I did. But then why...

I shook off the feeling and finished walking of to him. I offered him my hand as I introduced myself, "hi my name is Etsuko Megumi."

He took my proffered hand and shook it with slight hesitation, "I'm Shoto Todoroki."

I smiled at him brightly as I took my hand back. "Its nice to meet you Shoto-kun!"

He looked taken aback by my outward friendliness but quickly began to smile as well. "Its nice to meet you too...Etsuko-chan."

I spent the whole day playing with Shoto and reading books. And trying to figure out why he seemed so familiar... And we found out we both really like playing hide-and-seek and reading fantasy book. It was now nearing the end of the day and parents were coming to pick of their kids.

Mom walked in with a women with white hair next to her as they talked animatedly. I ran over to her and hugged her legs laughing the entire way. She laughed as I attached myself to her and she bent down to hug me.

"It looks like you had fun Etsuko." she stated as she looked at my face.

I looked up at her with a wide smile, "I did mama! I made a friend!"

"Oh did you now? Well what's their name?"

"Shoto Todoroki!"

She looked suprised and turned her gaze to the women she had walked in with, "well I guess that clears up figuring out if they would get along doesn't it?"

The white haired women chuckled, "well yes I guess it does."

I looked at my mother confused as to what she was talking about. She looked back to me and responded hearing my thoughts through her quirk, "Etsuko I'd like you to meet Rei Todoroki. She's an old friend of mine from highschool."

I gasped, "Wait are you Shoto-kun's mom!"

Rei laughed at my surprise, "yes I am."

"Shoto-kun! Shoto-kun! Look our moms know each other isn't that funny?!"

After that me and Shoto hung out every day until...
