"You ever see Raven pace like that?" Beast Boy asked Cyborg.

"Nah. She must be really excited." The latter shrugged.

The half demon girl frowned as she stopped in front of the large window overlooking the ocean.

"What, you aren't excited for Robin to come back?" The conversation continued behind them.

"No way! We've been chillaxing the last two weeks, and when he gets back it's going to be work, work, work! You know how he gets."

"Yeaaaaah..." Cyborg sighed. "Hey Raven!"

Raven jumped as she was snapped out of her thoughts and turned on her heel. "What are you yelling for? I'm right here."

"Can you stop doing that?" He asked.

"Doing what?"

"Thinking about Robin?" Beast Boy supplied.

"We haven't heard from him in three days." Raven said. "Aren't you worried?"

Cyborg and Beast Boy looked at each other, then back to Raven. "His last message was, 'We're on our way back'. Why would we be worried? It takes time to travel across space, you know."

Raven stomped her foot on the ground. "They've barely been in contact since they left! And now it's radio silence? Something has to be wrong."

"Raven, they went to a wedding together. What's the worst that could've happened?" Cyborg asked.

"Yeah, unless..." Beast Boy sang-song the implication.

"Oh, shut up." Raven pulled her hood up. "We're just friends."

"Oh look!" The TV screen started flashing, an alert popped up on screen. "They're back! Now you can stop worrying."

The three Titans made their way up to to the roof just in time to see their ship dock. "Hey Robin, Starfire! Welcome... Back..." Cyborg trailed off as the leader jumped out of the ship and stormed past them. "Or not." Cyborg turned to Starfire and asked, "What happened?"

"There was a... miscommunication." Starfire said sheepishly. "I may have introduced him as my... boyfriend. And he clarified that he was not, soooo..."

"Why would you do that?" Cyborg asked dumbfounded. "I thought he made it clear you two were just friends."

Raven was not around to hear the rest of the story as she turned around to go after Robin.

She found him in the garage, working on his bike- it was clear from the frustrated movements that he was still upset.

"Hey."

Robin stopped, and he turned around slowly with a frown. "Hey." He called back.

Raven stepped forward, closing the distance and stopping when she was just a foot away. "Not a fan of weddings?" She asked, her tone lightly teasing.

"Hmph. Not Tamaranean weddings." He shook his head. "It's all combat games and starbolt shootouts. You know they didn't even have cake?"

"Mmm. I heard you were Starfire's date."

Robin frowned as he stared at Raven's carefully neutral expression. "I think the term "boyfriend" and "boy who is a friend" don't translate the same in Tamaranean. Just a "friend" wasn't good enough to bring to Galfore's wedding." He sighed as he walked over to the tool table and leaned against it.

"Sorry to hear about it." Raven offered her sympathies.

"Thanks." He mumbled. "Either way, it's over with now. I'm glad to be back here."

Raven studied the ground, thinking back to the conversation that had started this whole ordeal.

"What do you mean you do not wish to go?" Starfire looked like she was on the verge of tears.

Cyborg looked bored, Beast Boy looked scared, and Raven looked as neutral as ever.

"I don't want to go another planet. It's nice out this time of year." Cyborg explained.

"I know I'm a handsome guy, but uh... Even I don't have a snowballs chance with Tamaranean girls." Beast Boy mumbled sheepishly.

"No thanks." Raven said.

Clearly not winning with those three, Starfire turned on Robin. "You will go with me, will you not?" She asked, her lip quivering as she gave him the puppy dog eyes.

"I, uh, you know... Sure?"

"Robin!"

All four sets of eyes turned back on her, and Raven was glad for the shadow her hood cast. "...Yes, Raven?" He asked slowly.

"I- It's nothing. Go if you want."

And then the two weeks of lighthearted teasing had started, and hadn't stopped. It was all, "Are you sure you wouldn't want to be Robin's plus one?" and "I'm sure Robin would like to see you in a dress~!" and it had driven Raven over the edge- for the first time in a long time, she'd snapped on her friends so badly that her eyes had turned red and they'd run away screaming. The next day things had more or less settled down, but they couldn't resist sneaking in the odd comment here and there.

"I'm glad you're back." She said to him.

"Me too."

Raven frowned and cleared her throat. "I- Missed you?" She said awkwardly. When Robin looked at her, she shrugged in an attempt to downplay what she'd just said. "You make for better company than Cyborg and Beast Boy do. Cy's alright, but when he and Beast Boy start acting up... you know."

Robin laughed, standing up and stretching before walking up to Raven. "I missed you too." He pulled her into a hug, and Raven happily linked her arms around him. "Next time I need a plus one somewhere, I'll invite you. At least you could teleport us somewhere when we've decided we've had enough."

Pulling back from Robin (but still keeping her hands on his shoulders), Raven cocked an eyebrow and asked, "And how long into this little trip would you have asked me to sneak away with you?"

Robin looked up as though he were in deep thought, letting his hands drop from Raven's back to her waist. "About thirty minutes?"

"That bad?"

"It was a long two weeks."

They laughed together as they parted, their hands brushing before Robin asked, "Wanna help me with this?" He gestured to his bike.

"Sure."

Although Raven may have done little more than hand Robin the tools he was asking for, she was happy to be back with him again.
