A/N: Hey! This is Napalm back with another new story. This one is snippets. It will not be as long as the other stories by any means, in fact, I fully expect any snippets in it to not break 1000 words sadly. These are just ideas or bits I would love to see from stories or anime. This one is a thought I have had for years ever since I first read Prismatic Dragon Emperor.
In it, Issei can use Install and Include in conjunction with his Boosted Gear and I love this idea, and it gives me a very good idea, one I might include in this story I am writing with Issei having the ability to use servants from Fate.
Anyway, without further ado, here is the first snippet.
Snippet #1: Issei's World Breaking Form.
Issei panted on the ground, blood coming out of his mouth. He was extremely injured, one of his devil wings bent and one of his arms broken. He coughed, lying on the ground, propping himself up with one arm as he started standing up again.
"You thought you could stop me?" A voice mocked him, "Don't make me laugh. A weakling like you will never amount to one of my nature."
"You're right." Issei said, letting out a chuckle that sounded a bit deranged, "I am weak as I am."
"Correct." The voice said smugly, "Now die with the rest of-"
"I am weak for thinking I could simply keep using the same tricks over and over again and win against every opponent I faced." Issei said, his voice becoming stronger as he stood. "I am weak for letting it get this far without using every ounce of my strength to stop you. And I am weak for not believing in myself. For not believing in my strength of will, that I couldn't conquer this card."
Issei stood straight up finally, shattering his balance breaker and revealing himself. He stood strong with no wings out and none of his armor on. His shirt was torn off long ago and his torso was caked in blood of both him and others. His leg was twisted and he was clearly only standing through strength of will with how shaky his stance was, even with how strong it looked at the moment.
"What do you think you are doing?" The figure scowled down at him, angry at the interruption of their moment of triumph.
"Beating you," Issei said as he took a card out of the gem of the gauntlet that Ddraig was housed inside of. Issei, instead of installing it through his boosted gear, instead placed the card right on his chest. "Install, GILGAMESH!" Issei screamed out as he slammed the card into his chest.
A gigantic flash of crimson light followed by an eruption of power from Issei's spot happened next. It blew away everything within 50 feet of him. The ground beneath shaking as his form shifted. The wind created a tornado that blocked him from sight. Before it all stopped.
As the tornado finally cleared, it revealed an imposing sight. Issei was standing there, but he was very different. He was wearing two golden earrings, with tattoos all over his visible body and continuing throughout. Instead of the torn pants he was wearing minutes before, he was now wearing golden armored pants covered with a red half cloak that was also decorated with gold. His hair went from spiky to almost flat with the spikes adding to it instead of looking haphazard. But, the most glaring change was in his stance. He went from on his last legs and clearly injured to standing strong. No sign of weakness was visible in his posture and all injuries he had prior seemed to have disappeared.
"What is this?" The figure asked, unsure for the first time.
"Hmph, so this is the power of Gilgamesh." Issei said, but his tone had changed. He sounded haughty and regal, somehow just his tone portraying that he was above everyone. "I must admit, I am greatly pleased by this form. But, no more half measures for one who has dared to strike at the Dragon Emperor's treasures."
"So, you still think you can beat me," The figure called out mockingly.
"In this form, I am Gilgamesh, he who has received every treasure of the world and he who can see the future. I do not merely think I can beat you, there is no longer a possibility of my defeat." Issei said with a scoff, utterly enraging the figure.
"You dare?" The figure roared, a blast appearing as he launched it at Issei.
Gilgamesh merely held his hand out, a version of Rho Aias appearing and blocking it with no trouble.
"I see, between my Gate of Babylon and that Red Faker's abilities, I am more than prepared for this fight." Issei said, his voice taking on mannerisms of Gilgamesh's speech patterns. "I don't even have to use my real treasures, after all, these fakes are more than enough for you."
"HOW DARE-?" The voice started before being interrupted once again by Gilgamesh.
"HOW DARE I? HOW DARE YOU? YOU THINK YOU CAN TOUCH THE DRAGON EMPEROR'S TREASURES AND WALK AWAY VICTORIOUS?! ALLOW ME TO SHOW YOU A GLIMPSE OF POWER! Let me show you how outmatched you truly are." Issei said, creating the Red Dragon Emperor's Boosted Gear on his arm, but this one was different. Whereas before, it was crimson red with black on it, this was crimson red with lines of gold in it. A gold triangular armor piece stuck out over the fingers, blocking them from harm. "Balance Break, Gilgamesh forme," Issei said, a brief golden and red glow of light covering him as he transformed into his new balance breaker.
When the light cleared, a new form of Issei's was shown. It was clearly still the boosted gear, but there were some massive changes. The chest was broader than his other forms, sticking out with a massive green gem in the middle of a dragon head on his chest. The shoulders were broader, covered with pauldrons of gold. His arms were fully covered by the armor, streaks and lines of gold throughout it. His hand now had claws on it, made of what looked like a more durable gold, with golden armor covering it.
His wings had also changed. They were now red and gold, with 5 sets. One had golden and crimson feathers that almost shined with lights emphasizing an angelic but draconic nature. Another 2 sets were of bat-like wings, much like his devil ones, these ones had a golden frame with crimson coloring. The last 2 sets were both draconic wings, with a massive wingspan. They were crimson scaled with a golden sheen.
His upper body and wings weren't the only part that had changed. His lower body and tail had also changed. His lower body was covered in armor as well, but one that looked mobile while covering his full lower body. The legs were covered in full crimson armor, with the joints and feet being covered by golden armor. The toes extended out to look like claws, the crimson appearing as if there was already blood on them. The tail had also changed, becoming spiked at the end, with the very end and spikes appearing golden, with the tail itself being crimson.
Finally, Issei's face was uncovered. "As I said, allow me to show you true power." Issei said, seriously and without any hint of levity or amusement.
His wings shifted inward, minimizing in on themselves to look almost like a back cloak covering him with the middle looking like a very thick jetpack almost. His face also became covered, but unlike the pure green glowing visor-like appearance of the typical Red Dragon Emperor Balance Breaker, this one still showed Issei's eyes, being more like a helm or helmet than the mask of the armor. The mouthpiece extended out, looking almost like a dragon's mouth, while the rest of it conformed directly over Issei's head, in a silver, gold and crimson helm with spikes on the top.
"This form is called the Holy Crimson Dragon God Emperor's Balance Breaker, and it shall be your demise." Issei said, preparing himself for another round with the figure.
This would be different than the last time.
Done! I have had this snippet rolling around in my head for years. Ever since I first read Prismatic Dragon Emperor, I was thinking of how I would go about showing a Red Dragon Emperor with a Gilgamesh Class Card included in it, and this was the design I have had in my head.
It's almost like a mix between the newer version of the Balance Breaker for the boosted gear and the Greymon armored forms from Digimon, which is where I got some of the design.
But this had been stuck in my head and I am glad I finally have it on paper so I can focus on continuing my stories and getting more new chapters out to you guys.
The next chapter will actually be the start of the next rotation, so it will be a new chapter of Fate of the Red Headed Devil. I am excited to continue writing for this story and hope you like the direction I take the story.
