LUCY's POV
It was early morning I had just got to the guild and was about to open the door when a voice came from behind calling my name. Lucy~ the voice said I immediately recognized the voice as happy. As I turned around he hurriedly flew to me,that's when I noticed that natsu wasn't there which surprised me cause they were always together.
Happy I said, where's natsu? I should have thought before I asked that question as this was happy I was talking to.
Happy looked down at me with a smug smile and I knew what he was going to say but before I can tell him not to he had already started. Why? Are you in love with him~? He said in a smug voice before I took my fist and lightly hit him on the head. No! I am not you stupid cat! I screamed but secretly I was I had a crush on natsu for awhile and I had already accepted that I was in love with him but as I had also accepted,I shouldn't tell that to happy.
As I turned back towards the guild doors I could hear happy complaining about how I was mean but I knew he didn't mean it after all we had done that for awhile (That and he breaks into my apartment with natsu almost every night.
He then stopped and opened the guild doors makings loud noise but that was normal this was fairy tail after all and noise and disaster is what we're known for but that didn't matter at all to me this was home and I loved it just the way it was.
I started making my way to the bar waving to guild mates, giving and receiving the usual hello, I then started taking notice of the normal things happening in the guild. Natsu and gray fighting with gray of course stripping and losing his shirt, juvia going crazy and having a nose bleed from watching him. Erza having a strawberry cake while looking like nothing was happening. Lisanna talking to Elfman with him yelling something about being manly. Levy sitting with jet and droy with them of course trying to win her over while gajeel just looked annoyed why he hasn't confessed yet I will never know. Cana drinking until she passed out then starting again. Happy eating fish at the bar. Macao and Wakaba drinking, while Wendy and Romeo talked with Carla talking to pantherlily.
Yup just a regular day in fairy tail but soon the clock would strike and a brawl would start though I usually say they are annoying they can get pretty interesting. As soon as I reached the bar Mira put done my usual drink a chocolate milkshake with a little extra whip cream just how I liked it.
The usual greeting I thought as I sat down Mira got ready to talk about what I had missed while I was at my apartment. Apparently Mira started Natsu's got a girlfriend. At that I looked at her with the normal really? Expression I knew what she was trying to do after all she always tried this.
Oh cmon Lucy she said with a disappointed expression to match her face. Why can't you two just get together it's already xxxxxxxxxx and I've tried everything why can't you just let my ship sail. As she slouched I noticed that her white long hair was touching her pink dress and tha—.
Wait what! It's almost the end of the month already. Shit how come I didn't notice! I ran over to the board as fast as possible with happy right behind me. I told him that team natsu should take a job and that he should tell the other members of the team which are natsu gray erza and wendy along with happy and Carla of course.
He ran off as soon as I saw he though about Carla. As I scanned the board something caught my eye.
We need help with a monster and some help with dark guild.
Please come to xxxxxx and go to the house of Derek motor when arriving.
Pay:350,000 jewels.
It was perfect and that was far more than enough to pay my rent as I grabbed it and took it to Mira a hand touched my shoulder... though weirdly I didn't flinch I just smile and slowly turned around to see the face of my best friend and secret crush natsu dragneel the salamander and resident fire dragon of the guild.
As he did his usual grin I noticed his onyx eyes always filled with warmth and his lovely salmon hair along with his white scaly scarf. As I continued staring Mira of course did her usual shipping and said while handing over the job. You sure you don't like him?
My face turned as red as erza's hair and of course with my luck right at the minute the others showed up. Happy started his usual ohhh's~ and they like each other with gray smirking like he just caught us doing the deed. Erza noticed this and smacked him on the head. I would wonder if he was okay but since I read his face I just told myself he deserved it.
Natsu grabbed the request from my hand and we walked toward the guild doors with a yell and stomp of his normal excited attitude I sweat dropped at that but then smiled with one small step we were off to pay my rent.
