Grillby was talking to a social worker while Frisk was at school. "You have never harmed Frisk?" "No." Grillby was shocked by the question, "I would never do such a thing." The social worker stared at Grillby, he didn't mess with Frisk when they were in the underground. You wouldn't even know Grillby knew they were a human if it wasn't for his good job after they broke the barrier.
The social worker was glad that Frisk was alive, despite breaking the barrier. Especially after what the monsters did to the dead humans bodies came out. Holes in their chest area. Where their souls should've been.
She wasn't sure how she felt about there almost certainly being an afterlife. Humans can't really see souls, except a select few, apparently. But monsters can, along with knowing how to preserve one. Would those children even make it to the afterlife without a soul?
"Why didn't you heal Frisk's cut with your powers?" "Frisk thought it looked cool. I compromised so I could clean it."
