The Eternal Mother: A Tale of Love and Loss in Another World - Chapter 7
Today is finally the day where both Kurt and Eri moved out of the Thridal Kingdom, the one kingdom in which Eri thought as the 'worst kingdom' she could ever step in. As they were preparing for tidying up to whoever would go live after that, Kurt felt down for leaving Klard. But to respect Eri's perspective of the Thridal Kingdom, he felt like he had to because of the horrible things she saw that weren't discussed about.
Meanwhile, Eri was preparing herself by wearing her office suit which consisted of a white shirt covered by her light blue short dress with a dark blue suit jacket that came with it, with stockings just to be on the suggestive side for Kurt. As she finished preparing herself, she walked towards Kurt, who was waiting for her. He noticed her presence. But what made him a little bit uncomfortable was how she was dressed. It's as if it's his first time seeing her wearing her suit.
"I hate to be rude but… is that your clothes from your world?" He asked, trying to avoid any rudeness coming from each word that was let out from his mouth. Of course, his ignorance of everything related to her past life amused her a little. And so she gently caressed his head, teasing him a little.
"That's what I was wearing for work in my past life. How do I look, sweetie?" She asked about his opinion on whether she could walk with this outfit or not. Not knowing what to say to her, Kurt's face blushed completely red. But to calm himself down, he decided to take a deep breath before saying anything.
"You're beautiful in that outfit… But… Is it weird if I want you to keep wearing that on our travels…?" He asked, embarrassed by the fact that he wanted her to keep wearing that from now on. Just from that alone, she felt like he wanted her to wear that outfit just for his fantasies. And as his adoptive mother, she would do anything he asked of her. The thought of spoiling him to a certain extent alone made her smile.
"It's not. To me it looks like you want me to keep wearing it because you think I'm beautiful in it." She replied, still smiling at the thought of wanting to keep her office outfit on some occasions. She then cuddled him with his head sandwiched between her boobs, gently caressing him. This went on for a good minute, until she let him out of her cuddling, mainly to make sure that he had enough comfort for one day.
"Shall we go, sweetie?" She asked. Kurt nodded because it's about time for both of them to leave the kingdom. As they went out, Eri closed the door with the keys of the house before departing with Kurt. And began their journey to the Shimazaki Kingdom.
As they went out of the capital, they walked throughout the whole spoke of the kingdom. Throughout the whole trip, they have been facing many obstacles, such as environmental hazards and monsters. Despite that, they managed to overcome those obstacles.
One day, during the trip, Eri felt like she couldn't feel like walking much longer, probably because they didn't quite take a break from walking. And so, she decided to sit on the ground. Kurt saw this and was worried. And to top it all off, the sun was about to set.
"Are you okay?" He asked, worried that she might feel some pain. Eri smiled at him, amused by the fact that even though she's much stronger and had more endurance than him, he was still worried about her condition.
"I'm okay. It's just that we haven't taken a whole break since this morning." She replied, hoping that Kurt would notice it. And sure enough, he did notice, thanks to his feet feeling sore each walk. It sure took him a while to notice but he felt like he had no choice but to agree.
"I'll go get some wood for the campfire." He gave a heads-up to Eri about getting some firewood. Though she was worried about his sore feet getting worse, she realized that even though she had more endurance than him, it wouldn't change the fact that her condition was in the way. And instead of helping him out, she sat on the ground, making sure that the unborn twins were okay.
Despite the fact that her pregnancy was in her way at some point, Kurt thought nothing of it. Instead, it made him feel glad that he could at least help her out once in a while. And so he went off alone to get some firewood. Some time later, he managed to have at least 15 branches of firewood. Despite having a fragile body, he at least put his carrying abilities to good use and perfectly honed too. As he walked to where Eri was, he carefully made each step a careful move until he could see her.
Seeing him approaching her, she smiled and decided to stand up to walk towards him. There, she grabbed the 15 firewood branches he was carrying, and she put them in her right armpit. She then gently rubbed his head as a way of appreciating his help, even though she couldn't do much. Just from the feeling of her hand, Kurt was pretty much embarrassed by it, but he decided to believe that he's done good work nevertheless.
After that, they both sat down with Kurt's position being similar to a dog position. But instead of sitting squarely, he sat with his legs crossed. And Eri's sitting position is known as a 'seiza', which translates to 'proper sitting' in japanese. The position of the seiza was just her kneeling on the ground, folding her legs underneath her thighs while resting the buttocks on her heels. Kurt was sitting next to her, with only 50 centimeters of distance between them.
Eri then scattered the firewood branches she was carrying with on the ground. She then snapped the fingers from her right hand, which led fire from her right index to appear. It would seem to Kurt that she could pull magic with her mana. And after the fire showed up from the tip of her right index, she put the index on one of the firewood branches. This made the fire spreading on the branches.
As time passed, it was already night-time. And Kurt was caressing Eri's belly, making her be in a state of awe, as she kept looking at him with the intent of thinking that he's just a cute little werewolf, who just wanted to know more about everything pregnancy-related.
"Say sweetie… Don't you get tired of feeling my belly?" She asked. Of course, being someone who felt at peace just by feeling a pregnant belly, Kurt shook his head horizontally upon hearing her question.
"No way mom. No matter how many times I felt your belly, it always made me feel at peace." He replied while still caressing her belly. Just hearing his answer, Eri wasn't surprised that Kurt wanted to feel her belly a bit longer. Yet now that she thought about it, she didn't tell him of how she died in her world and why she had to stay pregnant forever with her unborn twins.
But she couldn't come up to tell him as she was worried that Kurt might be traumatized by it. That thought alone made her face a frowned one. Kurt saw her frowned-face and couldn't tell what she was thinking, probably something bad from either him or her.
"What's wrong, mom?" He asked, wanting to know the reason why she made a frowned-face. Just hearing the question alone, Eri probably knew that he would be worried about her because she thought of how she really died back in her world. And yet, she decided to smile at him for being worrisome for a werewolf like him, while gently rubbing his head.
"Don't worry my little one… I just thought of something unimportant." She answered. With just the feeling from her hand, Kurt's face blushed red. Now that he thought about it, he didn't ask her if he could play with her boobs as long as he could. But as he thought about it, he felt completely embarrassed by it, thus making himself uncomfortable. What's worse, he thought that it would make him a sexual offender, something he didn't want to become. Unknown to her, Eri saw his face blushing and was suddenly curious about what he was thinking.
"Kurt…? Are you alright?" She asked, wanting to know what was on his mind. Kurt however didn't want to ask her if he could play with her boobs. And yet, it would make him even more uncomfortable, as his urge of asking her kept on growing. He then sighed, knowing that he won't overcome his urge.

But it was either that or making her even more worried. Upon hearing his question. Eri was surprised that Kurt wanted to play with her boobs. She then used her arms to set herself in a position where she sat without crossing her legs. She then looked at Kurt and giggled at the thought of him wanting her to be his nap pillow, even though she's pregnant.
"I guess you could say that I'm your… pregnant nap pillow." She said with just a hint of teasing on every word. This caused her to make a sexual noise before breathing in and out. This made her hold her boobs like Kurt did to stop them from jiggling too much.
"I-I'm sorry… I think I went too far in playing with your boobs…" Kurt tried to apologize for playing with her boobs. But Eri didn't mind him playing with her boobs once again and for as much as he needed it. She smiled before standing up with the help of her arms.

She said with her face cheeks blushing red a little bit. Knowing full well that she might make her uncomfortable, Kurt stood up as well and decided to change the subject.
"Um… Can we go now? We have to go to the Shimazaki Kingdom's capital in the first place, right?" He asked, still uncomfortable by the fact that Eri was sexually teasing him. Just hearing the question, she realized that it was the idea, not being out here being all sexually suggestive. Despite that, she smiled while gently head-patting him.
"Of course sweetie. Let's go before you get to play with my boobs again." She jokingly answered with a hint of teasing. Of course, this made Kurt in a somewhat bad position. Nevertheless, the two departed, with Eri's purse still with her and Kurt holding her left hand to make sure he won't go too far.
