He kept his distance, but watched on carefully.

Despite the backlash, Sukuna smiled with greed and pride to his actions. "Now, she won't be so burdened with the children. But their talents…" he said with some slight admiration. He saw Mochi toy with her ability to have curse energy be turned into fire. But he wondered if it was limited to her ability alone? If someone tried to attack her with their curse energy, could she turn it against them?

He was also curious to Shin.

Despite that there is no longer a need for the six eyes to exist, Shin has developed his own method and variation of it… which means that curse ability could had just become another standard trait… or does it? "This child will be interesting to watch…" He has little doubt Shin will be approaching him soon for lessons, who knows if Satoru will take the training seriously.

Lastly, Rook.

For a mere child to hold his ground against Toji, it's nothing less than remarkable. Yet, what he heard brought a smile to his lip. Rook wants to train with him of all people.

"How are Tooru children so fearless?" he wondered aloud. But it didn't matter, to prove his worth he would be more than willing to train them. Lady Tiamat would see how good of a father figure he could be and grant him his favor. But there is still much more to be done.

"Sukuna!"

He peered over and saw Toshi lingering.

"What?" he snapped back.

"Have you forgotten about the brewery?" he asked and was rather upset! "I've been working to fill the orders we have, it's not easy doing this on my own you know. We got a demand for our sake!"

He rolled all four of his eyes. "Fine…" he muttered.

For the rest of the day, he stayed at the brewery, perhaps it was for the best until Yua's tongue cooled off.

Still, the way she roared in anger at him. He never felt a chill go down his spine like that since Mother Tooru and she found out he ate all the tarts!

They were silent as they worked, yet, Sukuna peered over at Toshi and noticed he was struggling with something. "You seem troubled." He said offhandedly. "Is it over what happened to the children?"

He cringed a little. "No, but… Syrax is asking me that when it's time… she wants children, the sooner the better in her words. The brothers are facing the same problem too with their wives, they are determined." He said offhandedly.

"So, have children" Sukuna replied rather bluntly. "Is that not in your nature to?"

Toshi sighed. "My brothers and I are really on the fence with this. They know their mother suffered…"

Sukuna stopped, he sighed aloud to it all, it was THIS speech again. "What happened to their mother is not their doing, as well, she wasn't permitted to carry them full term because of Kenjaku who made certain she couldn't due to his experiment. They do realize that right?" he asked.

"They do…"

"Your children won't be like you, not in the least bit. If anything look at Toji and his spawn from Lady Tiamat. The boys look like their father, the girls look like their mother. When they are not of the same species, that happens. However, because their mother is a dragon, they are born dragons yet have the father's or ability of the clan they came from. It is why they are able to move through the shadows effortlessly." Sukuna explained. "You can set your mind at ease knowing your sons will look like you, your daughters will look like your wife, but, they won't be a curse hybrid."

Toshi fell silent.

"I just don't know if I would make a good father…"

This brought Sukuna to a pause. "You doubt yourself on that? Why?" he asked bluntly. "From what I have seen, you and the curse wombs are more than capable of being fathers and good ones at that."

Toshi peered at him oddly, almost in disbelief. "Why are you encouraging me?"

"Did you not want to be? I can easily change my tune if that is what you are looking for." He said and bore a smirk. "But truthfully, you have nothing to worry about. If Six Eyes can be a father anyone can at this point, and he's not even that good."

Toshi snorted a laugh but nodded. "Thank you for the encouragement."

He huffed as a reply.

They managed to get another massive batch ready and aged for distribution. It turns out Toshi's rot ability from Eso was just enough to use on the sake, making it a perfectly aged drink.

With that done, they called it a day. No doubt Sukuna will be getting an earful tomorrow from Yua!
