The Chambers, monster, and a loving Basilisk

"This is not my day." Harry Said as he was running through the Chamber of Secrets covered what he hoped was mud and grime as he was running form the large killer snake that could kill someone by looking at them. Harry was quick to make an sharp turn into one of the many tunnels that connected to the tunnel but unfortunately he hit the side of the tunnel entrance which caused him to trip and fall over and felt an large pain in his right arm. Harry was quick to look at his arm and saw a large hole in his arm and the basilisk with a bloody mouth looking at him. Harry screamed as he was quick to run deeper into the tunnel unknown that something was happening to the basilisk as it was growling as it hit the walls as it was getting smaller and red hair was sprouting from its head covering its eyes and growing arms and was taking on a more feminine look. Soon stood a green basilisk with green scales and red hair growing down her back.

"Fuck Salazar I'm going to kill you I If your still alive when's get out of her but first I need find the child who I bit. I hope he's ok." The female basilisk said as she slither off to find the child following the blood trail. This was Azura one of Salazar Slytherin greatest experiments who was made to be his last fuck you to the founders.

"Child are you well." Azura asked as she found a boy who was sweating and he looked at the snake woman who was coming close to her. When Harry saw the snake woman he saw that she had scars on her arms, chest, and stomach. Harry tried to back up more but was meant with a wall. "Hey I'm sorry I didn't mean to bite you I was under a horrible spell but I can save you I just need you to trust me."

Harry looked confused as his body was burning up but he felt cold all at the same time just then he saw Fawkes come in and looked confused at the snake woman Harry saw the Fawkes was holding something that was the sorting hat. Harry was about to say something but saw a snake woman come closer to him and said "child do you trust me?" Harry looked at her and nodded his head. "This may hurt."

Azura said as she cut her arm with her clawed arm and then brought it to his mouth. Harry tasted the blood and wanted to throw up but was stopped by the words of the woman who said "I know this is horrible but you need to swallow it all."

Harry did his best to keep it then he felt drips of water on his right arm, looked away from the woman and saw Fawkes who was giving him tears. Harry felt better almost immediately. "Thank you miss?" Harry said

"My name is Azura. I'm sorry child for injuring child come on let's get you out of here." Azura said as she picked up the child and slithered off with Fawkes following after her.

"Aren't you worried about the basilisk miss Azura?" Harry asked as she exited the tunnel.

"You're looking at her." Azura said as she set him down so he could walk. Harry looked at her confused and she sighed and said "I was forced into that body for who knows how long by Salz.." Azura was about to say more but stopped when they saw Tom Riddle who looked confused.

"Who the fuck are you where is the beast of Salazar." Riddle asked as he looked at the snake woman.

"Who the fuck are you calling a beast you little shit." Azura said as she slithered to him and grabbed him by the throat. "I have a name and it is Azura and I'm not yours. I'm certainly not Salazar's the bastard who forced me into that body, added to my body and did something to my eyes that made them feel different." Azura said as she saw how the kid was acting around not looking at her face she may have not been aware of what Salazar did to her. "So let's find out what he did." Azura smiled as she removed her hair as she looked in Riddle's eyes. He was screaming but it soon stopped.

Azura looked in horror and looked down at Harry's eyes and said "did you know I could do that and do you have anything to cover my eyes?" Harry looked at her confused as he undid his scarf and handed it to her. Azura looked at a puddle and saw her eyes and they were a sickly yellow.

"How did you not know that your eye could kill people?" Harry asked as Azura wrapped the scarf around her eyes.

"I guess Salazar did a lot to me. I'm going to drain him until he dies." Azura whispered to herself in anger but stopped when she heard Harry say something.

"What did you say Harry dear?" Azura asked, showing concern for the child.

"I was wondering where that smell was coming from." Azura looked at the sound of Harry's voice.

"That was faster than what I thought I was going to have more time." Azura said to herself

"What do you mean ma'am?" Harry asked as he looked at the basilisk woman he then saw the dairy next to Ginny who was slowly getting up and said "Harry what. Where is Tom? Harry, we need to find him. He's going to release the basilisk on everyone that is a Muggleborn in the school."

"He's kind of dead Ginny, Azura what are you doing?" Harry asked as he saw her slithered to the diary and took a bit of it. "Why are you eating that?"

"Oh sorry snakelet did you want some?" Azura Said as she offered the dairy to him. Harry was about to say something but maybe he should ask more questions when they weren't in what Harry hoped wasn't where all the school shit and piss was going.

Two hours later

"And that's what happened." Harry said as happened sir." Harry explained rather reluctantly as he just wanted to sleep after they got out of the chamber with the help of Fawkes along with Lockhart who suffered a backfire memory inflicted by himself. Harry was being questioned by the school staff on Azura and what happened and explained what happened leaving out a few parts like him drinking blood.

"Harry my dear boy, what creature is she?" Dumbledore asked as he turned to see Azura who was still blindfolded as she was being looked over by the medical witch Poppy as the witch was concerned by the scars on her body.

Harry sighed and said " I already said what Azura is. She is a basilisk. Can I please sleep now? It's been a long day." Dumdledore nodded as Harry sighed as he covered himself in blankets and almost immediately. Fell asleep.

Dumdledore sighed as he left the medic wing, Azura staring at him with only what he could assume was murder; he was disappointed by the child reluctant to explain where the basilisk was, as it was rather concerning that the school had one under its floors. He needed to have the basilisk dead so it would not come to Voldemort's side when he led Harry to his death in order for him to finally kill voldemort when the time was right.

Later

Harry groaned as he got up and tried to get up but fell on the ground. It was still night out judging by the stars Harry saw from the window and was about to get up but stopped when he saw his hand or more accurately his clawed hand that had black claws and had red feathers on his hand and arms.

"Snakelet, are you ok." Harry could hear Azura slithered close to him and heard her gasp from her "snakelet are you feeling ok?"

"What happened to me, Azura?" Harry asked as he looked at her, seeing her eyes flinching but quickly but realized he wasn't dead. Harry was quickly breathing harder and quicker and Azura was quick to comfort Harry the only way she knew how.

"Snakelet close your eyes and breathe in and out. Listen only to the sound of my voice. Let your mind relax. Let your thoughts drift. Let the bad memories fade. Let peace be upon you." Azura said as Harry slowly started to clam but still a little on edge.

Azura smiled and continued the poem for the only person who ever cared for her "Surrender yourself to your dreams. Let them wash over you like the gentle waves of the bluest ocean. Let them envelop you. Comfort you." Harry smiled as he laid his head on her lap.

" Imagine somewhere calm. Imagine somewhere safe. Imagine yourself in a frozen forest. You're standing in a clearing. Trees around you so tall, they touch the sky. Pure white snowflakes fall all around." Azura said as Harry's breathing was calmer.

"You can feel them melt on your skin. You are not cold. It cannot overcome the warmth of your beating heart. Can you hear it? You only have to listen." Azura said as she was petting his head. She had gotten a better look at her Snakelet. Harry looked like an male version of her but with red feathers on most of his body and black hair along his back with more claws.

"What happened to me, Azura?" Harry asked as he was calmer now.

"You're a basilisk now Harry." Azura explained and saw the confused look on Harry's face. "When I bit you, you were poisoned so I did the only thing that I knew that could save you. I gave you my blood but you should have had a week, not seven hours."

"I'm I stuck like this?" Harry asked as he looked at his hands.

"No, we just need some magic in you. Here it tastes like a kid friendly appleblood." Azura said as she opened the dairy and tore a few pages and offered them to Harry.

Harry looked at her and asked "do you mean apple juice?"

Azura looked at him and said "no this is better."

Harry looked at her then the paper and he noticed a sweet smell coming from the ripped pages. Harry took the pages and took a small bite of it. As soon the paper entered his mouth he felt a rush of energy and tasted apple juice but it had a coppery taste. Harry quickly did something that he rarely did and smiled.

"I see what you mean, can I have some more please Azura?" Harry asked as he looked at Azura.

"Sure thing, snakelet." Azura unknown to the two basilisks the door opened to reveal snape who was just about to finish his round but stopped to see if the medical wing was ok only to fine the new creature and if potter was to be believed was the beast of Salazar Slytherin and a younger version of it wearing potter's clothes.

Snape just looked at his shoes and said to himself "not for all the fire whisky in the world." Snape was quick to close the door and leave, not even noticing that the headmaster phoenix flew through the open before it was closed. Fawkes looked at them from the place she decided to sit and understood something that Dumbledore would never understand that this basilisk could and would give Harry the family he deserves. She was going to help them by sending them to the land of her creator.

"Snakelet do you smell that?" Azura asked as she handed some more pages from the dairy to Harry as she looked around like a predator looking for a threat to their prey. That is when Flakes flew down from the rafter and Azura was calm.

Flawkes down from where she was sitting and said "Hello Azura Jadu you are a long way from home."

Both Harry and Azura looked at her confused at the Phoenix. Flawkes looked sad as she saw Azura looked at her almost confused. "You don't remember your family's name do you. You suffered at the hands of old men who were blinded by their hate. Sadly I can't help with your memories but I can send you somewhere Dumbledore will not find you."

"How can you talk and why do we need to hide from him?" harry asked

"I'm an messenger of the titian the father of all magic I will explain who he is latter and for dumbledore will he plans to make you into an pawn and send you to your death to defeat lord voldemort and since your body has changed the british government will to want to capture you and do Titian's knows what. Look I know you are probably confused and suspicious but I'm a messenger of the Titan. It means I can't harm people who I deem worthy."

Azura looked at Flawks and asked " worthy of what?"

"Worthy to be my new charge and to get my protection. So give me a minute and I will take you to a place that will be far from Dumbledore's eyes and ears." as soon as she said that Fawkes started to sing and soon a portal opened up but just because she was a phone does mean she can make a few mistakes which she realized as she and Harry and Azura were sucked into the portal.

Harry ground as he woke up to find himself in a pile of ash in a forest and everything looked taller. He looked at Azura who was Holding Fawkes by her throat and rage in her eyes. "You kill my snakelet."

"Azura what happened?" Harry asked as his voice sounded a little younger. Azura looked at Harry's ash pile and smiled as she looked relieved to see him as she dropped the bird but then she looked confused.

"Snakelet, how old are you?"

"I'm 12. Why do you ask?" Harry asked as he saw Fawkes who looked confused and then flew up to a nearby branch in case the basilisk became violent again and her eyes turned purple then back to normal.

"You looked like your 7 years old." Azura explained as she looked around and saw she was in a forest. But in the distance she saw a large skull with horns and she saw a large city in the front of the skull.

"Welcome to the boiling isles, and don't worry it should not last long an week at most. You may be part phoenix but coming back will take a lot of magic. And as for you being younger, consider it a gift." Fawkes said as she looked at the skull and then said "wait here I'm going to find a place for you guys."

Hours later

By the time Fawkes had gotten back to the two it was night and she had found a house on the edge of town. It was an abandoned two story mansion that was hidden by and a fixer upper but it would do for now. She found her explaining something to Harry.

"Ok snakelet here what you need to do to transform. Just focus on what you want to be. I will give you an example." Azura said as she looked at a poster of a criminal. She stared at the poster and her body started to change as he grew tan skin and green hair along with and white robes.

"See now you can do a voice but since we don't have her nearby i can so how about you give it a shot." Azura asked as she looked at Harry who was slowly starting to change to look like his old self but younger self.

"You did good the older you get the more you can do i will train you more when you older. Looks like the firebird is back."

Flakes just sighed and said "I found a home that's large but it's run down but I can fix it with some help but we need to go before the rain."

"Why?" harry asked

"The rain is boiling." Azura said as they followed the Phoenix.

Harry did not know it but he will live a quiet life for the next month as he saw Flawkes rebuild the mansion with the help of a purple ball as she summoned ghosts but oddly it last longer but if everyone was honest they where glad and in that time Azura trained him in shape shifting while loving him like her own child and was taken to Hexside to resume his education where he was placed in the plant track and unknown to them they not only traveled to the Boiling Isles but they went back 5 years. Everything was normal until later he saw a human girl who saved the owl lady and then officially met her for the first time in his plant class 5 years later.
