Chapter 15
Yua was looking about. She sensed her kids had returned and yet… she didn't see any of them.
However, in her travels, she heard one of them weeping. "Rook?" she whispered and went to see.
Rook had gone to Suguru's house, he was crying in his arms how he saw Gojo's family, he proved he was strong but they found out he had no curse energy. "They said… they said… I was a monkey… they didn't want to hear me speak… they didn't consider me their family… am I a monkey?" he cried.
She kept her distance to see how he would react. Suguru froze for a moment, until a gentle smile came over him. Playfully, he picked Rook up, turned him upside down and every which way. The odd action made her son giggle and laugh. The tears stopped as Suguru came to a pause but peered at him rather playfully. "You know, I just don't see it," he said. "I mean, a monkey is all furry, they have a tail, and I don't see any of that on you… Hmmm, I think those old bats are blind." He said in a matter of fact tone.
Rook cleared his eyes and smiled. "So, I'm not a monkey?" he asked.
"You're not in a zoo are you?... granted sometimes it's hard to tell around here with what goes on…"
Rook giggled once more. He leaned into Suguru and sighed. "Why didn't I get curse energy like Mochi and Shin?" he asked. "I thought I would be like them, but…"
Suguru sighed. "It's just how things are, but I think you're pretty cool. Uba does too, doesn't he?"
"Uba is really strong, I want to be as strong as him!"
"You know, you could." Suguru said in an encouraging tone. "Unlike Mochi and Shin. They won't ever be as strong as Uba when it comes to curse energy. But in strength, I think you can get there. You may not be able to compete against him in curse energy, but in strength, I think you could give him a good run for his money!"
It warmed her heart to see this, at the same time…
WHY THE HELL DID SUKUNA TAKE THE KIDS TO THE GOJO CLAN!?
THIS she had to get to the bottom of.

She did find him eventually.
But not before Satoru found her. "Yua!" he called.
"Not now, I got to speak with Uba about something…" she said in a warning tone. Satoru froze, he knows when she called Sukuna, Uba, she's pissed. At the same time he likes to watch what happens. But as she began to approach, Gojo blurted out. "My clan estate burned down today."
Instantly, she came to a stop.
"What?" she demanded.
Gojo of course, was laughing his ass off at the notion. He showed her the text messages he got and they were all freaking out at him.
'WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US ABOUT HER TECHNIQUE?!'
'HOW DID A CHILD MAKE SUCH FLAMES!'
'HOW IS IT THIS CHILD HAS SUCH POWER?!'
Yua still sneered. "I want to know is WHY our children were there in the first place."
"Yeah… that's crossed my mind as well…"
She turned as her eyes locked on to Sukuna. The moment they did, he excused himself from Shin and Mochi. When he was within range, Yua was about to shout at him but he stated. "They approached us at the park."
Instantly, she paused. "Pardon?"
He sighed. "You were about to rip my head off without knowing my reason. Look, the Gojo clan found us at the park, did you expect me to do something in a place full of humans? I thought you were against that?" he asked.
"He has you there…" Gojo muttered.
She nodded to that. "But why go to the estate?"
"Curious," he said bluntly. "The children were in no danger, I had enough allowance that would allow me to take out the clan if needed. But it was not necessary. Remarkably, they let us leave on our own despite the fact they were after your son, Shin… after they insulted Rook."
"So you burned the place down?" Gojo asked.
Sukuna's smile became rather… devious. "Me? No," he said in an odd and yet amused tone. "That was your daughter's doing. She left kittens behind after they insulted Rook."
"Kittens… she left kittens behind?" Yua asked and yet couldn't quite wrap her head around the fact that her daughter's main use of her technique is to make kittens out of fire. She sighed to it all once more. "We need to teach her when and where is a good opportunity to 'make kittens' as it were…"
"I think she picked a perfect moment…"
"You stay out of this!" she scolded Sukuna.
But he snickered to the notion. "Your children are more aware than you think. Besides, this turned out for the best. Rook was considering taking the Gojo name… perhaps he should considering how they mistreated him, it would be the perfect insult to them!"
"He decides if he wants to be a Gojo or Tooru," Satoru said in a matter of fact tone. "For the time being, we better teach Mochi when to use her technique, also, I better find Rook…"
"He's with Suguru now." Yua said.
Satoru excused himself as he went to check on his son. Yua peered at Sukuna who was smiling oddly proudly to what occurred. "Did you know she was going to set the place on fire?" she asked offhandedly.
"Not in the least bit, I am pleased she came to that conclusion herself…"
"You're a bad influence on them."
"Oh, and I am certain Six Eyes is better?" he asked.
Yua paused. "I'll get back to you on that one."
She couldn't blame Sukuna for what had happened with the Gojo clan, at the same time, she was impressed he held himself back from destroying the place… only to have Mochi do it on her own…
Still, he has been oddly… well behaved.
So much so, she peered at him oddly as he smiled down. "What? Didn't think I could have self control?"
"Partly yes," she said bluntly. "At the same time, you never act like this unless you want something. That's concerning me right now since you have been rather behaved… what ARE you after?" she asked of him.
He chuckled to the question. "That will be revealed in due time, but at the moment, I am late for Shin's lessons. Until then…" he left without another word.
What DOES he want?
