Chapter 18

Three days earlier…

He was out cold.

Yuuji froze as Sukuna laid on the ground, dead to the world by the looks of it, yet, what little curse energy they allowed him to have, was taken. The curse marks on his body slowly began to vanish, turning to smoke before leaving the skin bare once more. Lady Tiamat took the smoke that was his curse energy and then… it vanished in her hands. "Mom?" Suiryu asked with uncertainty.

"It's okay, it's being held by those I can trust with it, after all. Most of his techniques came from the sorcerers he killed and consumed… which happened to be the Tooru family." She said offhandedly.

"So, where did it go?"

"Back to the source. I explained before, despite the Toorus who have passed, many haven't reincarnated. They were anticipating this. So, now the test can begin."

No one really understood what this test was about, yet Lady Tiamat appeared rather excited to see it through. "There are markers that have been etched into his body and soul now, triggers if you will. If he breaks these, various things will occur. It all depends on his actions. Should he turn back to his cursed self, it will destroy him, if he doesn't then… well, we will see…"

"Mom… What's happening to him?" Yuuji asked.

"I am curious to this, and right now, he is in a meditative state, after all, I am not the only one who needs to approve of this."

"Mom?" Suiryu asked with confusion.

She smiled to them as she turned to Yua. "Yua Tooru, those of your family who are awaiting their reincarnation, have opted to stay behind and watch over this event. They have been anticipating this for some time."

Yua froze as she appeared confused. "What do you…"

"Your family had a curse technique that allowed them to see the future of a sorcerer. Used only once a year on one person. They did this for Sukuna,"

"They predicted his…"

"No," she said flat out. "This was before they knew of the elders and the emperor plotting against them, in fact this was before they were made aware of Sukuna's rise to power. They had predicted he would marry a Tooru, he would have a loving wife and family of his own…"

"Ew" muttered Toji.

"I wouldn't be judging him if I were you," she said in a warning tone. "But the fact is this, they knew of one thing would happen, a sacrifice he would have to make to obtain it. That sacrifice is happening now, but, to fulfill my part of the agreement, I need to create a wife for him… and it must be a Tooru." She turned to Yua once more. "Yua, I need to use you as a medium,"

She froze, however sighed and agreed.

"How are you going to do it mom?" Yuuji asked curiously.

"This is a little more aggressive than transfiguration, reincarnation to say. But I need is blood, bone, skin and muscle from Yua."

She nodded to the notion. "How much?"

"Both arms and a legs."

"MOM!" protested Suiryu.

"It's okay," Yua insisted. "I just recently mastered transfiguration, thanks to him of all people." She said as her eyes narrowed at Sukuna. "But, what about the soul?"

Yuuji turned to Nobara.

"Oh you got the notion, Yuuji do you want to do the honors?"

He gulped his pride. "Wait, what are you going to do?!" Nobara demanded.

"A soul is created through past lives and experiences, Chusi is but ONE experience your soul has gone through. I just… I need to take that from you… but will it affect her?" Yuuji asked

"She will be fine, she won't lose her feelings for Suiryu if that is what concerns you, also this process is painless for her. As long as you do it right, but first we need to make the body." Lady Tiamat said as she turned to Yua. "Let's get started, he won't be out for much longer."

"Hold on, why do we need to use Yua's arms and legs?" Yuuji asked.

Lady Tiamat turned to Yua. "What I am about to ask of her, is not simple or is it easy to request. It will also be hard on her too, despite your transfiguration abilities, Yua, this will take time to recover from."

Suddenly, her children gripped on to her for dear life. "Are you going to hurt mom?" asked Shin. "Please, great lady, don't hurt my mom!" he pleaded.

Lady Tiamat merely smiled to him. "I have no right to harm her, however it she wishes to help, she will be hurt, but she will recover. The choice is hers though."

Suddenly, all eyes came upon Yua. "You don't have to do this," Satoru said instantly. "I mean, why the hell should he get the chance at happiness?!" he demanded. "I'm not fuss on the notion that he confessed to EVERYONE that he wants a wife like Yua… how far would he go to obtain her… what would he do… it makes me sick!"

"I have to agree with Satoru, mom. Why go through the trouble?" Suiryu asked.

She merely shrugged her shoulders to them all. "There is little in this world that makes things interesting for me to observe, but this, is one of those things that has peeked my curiosity. So far, for the past few years, Sukuna has done everything you have asked of him, even with an attitude that he has. He has also trained the students well, taken care of and protected Yua and her children. It's not something I can over look, after all, we all know what he was like. But now, his more human side is returning. The fact that he wants a wife shows he is looking beyond himself. Had he been his old self, he wouldn't want companionship. He would want to be left alone with his power. So… what would happen if we gave him what he asked for?"

"He would want more," growled Suiryu. "It's not fair nor is it right!"

"I'm curious too," Yua said.

Suddenly, everyone was staring at her. "You're shitting me!" protested Toji.

"I think Lady Tiamat makes an interesting point. I'm curious too, he said before I looked like Chusi. He's been thinking about her as of late hasn't he?"

"Indeed, now then, Yua, if you wish to assist me. I do need to take your arms and legs from you. You will heal, but it will take some time to recover. I only ask you never speak of this to her or Sukuna when this is said and done."

Yua nodded in agreement.

"Yuuji,"

He peered up into his mother's face. "I need you to use part of your soul to get Chusi for me, you need Ryoto's help."

"Uh…." He said with great uncertainty.

"Just focus and be very careful okay, it's painless for both parties involved." Lady Tiamat suddenly set up a basic domain, yet within it she kept Yua, Nobara, Yuuji, Suiryu and Sukuna.

"MOM!" Shin shouted.

"It's okay," she insisted and smiled to him. "Lady Tiamat won't do anything that would seriously harm me, I will be hurt, but I will recover and be good as new. Okay?" she said in a gentle voice.

Satoru was even worried about her, he held the kids tightly as he mouthed 'I love you' to her.

With that, she stepped forward. The rings vanished from her hands, the cuffs disappeared from Sukuna's wrist as Lady Tiamat began her jujutsu. Yuuji started to glow oddly as she swore her ancestor came from his body. He then smiled and reached towards Nobara who gasped as a ghost hand reached from her chest. With care Ryoto's essence pulled Chusi from Nobara, when she appeared Nobara gasped and fainted into Suiryu's arms.

"Nobara!"

"It's okay, she's unconscious, but fine." Lady Tiamat insisted.

Yua watched as the soul of Chusi peered about, her eyes widened when she saw Sukuna on the ground, but there wasn't an ounce of fear in her eyes. She appeared… happy to see him!

"Chusi Tooru" Lady Tiamat called. "Would you like to return to the world of the living?"

She smiled and nodded.

Lady Tiamat smiled as she reached towards her. Chusi suddenly condensed down into a ball and appeared as a pulsing orb of light. "I need to make her body around the essence… Yua… are you ready?"

She took a deep breath and nodded.

Yua blinked, at first she felt nothing, but then, saw her limbs floating in the air! The blood from the wound never hit the ground as every drop was used. Yua's wounds were quick to seal as Lady Tiamat was fast to do so. Only then, did she feel the horrible pain of losing both arms and legs! Yuuji caught her before she hit the ground and the shock of it all suddenly hit.

"GGGGAAAAHHHHH!" she roared.

"MOM!" shouted Rook.

"YUA!" screamed Gojo.

"It's… okay… I'm…" but the blood loss was catching up to her, the shock of it all began to strike as her eyes rolled back…

"YUA!" shouted Suiryu.

"We need to finish this." Lady Tiamat said calmly. "Now, watch."

The blood, bone and muscle began to alter and change, the materials suddenly grew out and became plentiful. The essence was then placed into the middle of it all. Lady Tiamat worked her jujutsu, organs, veins and bone were the first to form, then the blood filled the body as the skin wrapped around it all. The orb pulsed breaking within the body, filling it with life once more. The body gasped, then began to breath. Suiryu could hear the heart beating from where he stood as a woman formed. With the snap of her fingers, she became clothed instantly before more detailed features formed.

She laid on the ground but slowly came too.

Her eyes peered about, her black hair tucked behind her ears as she looked to the new faces around her. She was the spitting image of Yua and yet… there was somehow a difference between the two. "Who… where…" but then, she gasped. Her eyes set on Yuuji. "RYOTO!" She cheered.

Suddenly, she snapped off the ground just as Yuuji stood from easing Yua to the ground. Chusi pulled him into her arms. "Big brother! I missed you so much!" she wept.

"Uh… Miss… I'm sorry, you have me confused…"

"No, it's you Ryoto, I know it's you!"

"Chusi…"

She paused as Suiryu spoke her name, she stared at him oddly but then, her eyes widened. "Ryujin!"

He was taken aback by her decreed. "Uh… mom…"

"It will take some time for her to adjust, just give it time," she insisted as she went over Yua's wounds. "Oh Yua, I am sorry…" she whispered.

The domain went down. Chusi then began to see all these strange faces around her. "Wait… where… where am I?"

"There is much to explain child, give me a moment and I will clarify it all." Lady Tiamat insisted. But first, she tended to Yua. Satoru was quick to take her home after the wounds were completely sealed and healed over. Then, she turned to Chusi who was now eyeing Sukuna knocked out cold on the ground.

"RYOMEN!" she rushed to his side, she possessed enough strength to turn him over, and the first thing she did, was put her ear to his chest. Relief came over her as she heard the heartbeat within. "Oh, Ryomen…" she whispered.

"Are you serious?" muttered Suiryu.

"Chusi Tooru," Lady Tiamat announced. "You have been returned to the land of the living after a thousand years. You have perfect memory as to what happened, do you still wish to be with someone like him?"

She appeared stunned. "Someone like him? Are you saying he's not worthy of having someone to love him?!"

This… took everyone aback. "He's killed thousands, millions…"

"That's not Ryomen!" she protested. "I know who he was, I know the man he was… those actions were not his. It wasn't him!"

"Is she delusional or…" Suiryu whispered to Yuuji.

Yuuji shook his head. Even Yuko whispered. "She knows the man she fell in love with… and who killed her and her family, wasn't him."

"Chusi," Lady Tiamat said. "I am Ryujin's mother,"

She suddenly froze stiff, her body turned white very suddenly but she was quick to prostrate herself to the ground. "Lady Tiamat, ruler of earth and sky, keeper of the realm, I greet thee."

"Whoa…" whispered Suiryu.

"Rise child, let me explain something to you. Ryomen Sukuna has been rendered human, however he still possesses supernatural strength, endurance and senses. He is able to protect you if need be. However, as I asked before, do you wish to be with him? He seeks a wife, thus, why I have returned you to the land of the living. In accordance with our agreement, I promised him a wife who is a Tooru, but I will not force a marriage."

She froze. "Marriage? I… we can get married?" she whispered as tears streamed down her face. "I… I have always wanted him to marry me…"

"Then you will accept him as your husband?"

She nodded full heartedly. "Of course, it was all I ever wanted really. I wanted to be a wife, to be a good mother to have children… raise them and grow old with the man I loved… I even made this domain with curse energy…"

"… That's right, you did make this domain!" Suiryu said with an impressive tone. "This took a lot out of you, didn't it?"

"All my curse energy, the ultimate technique. I was going to do this for my family as soon as we found a place to settle down in. We were always hunted by sorcerers and powerful curses, I wanted to make us a home to stay in. This took all my energy since there's another jujutsu in the soil. I call it the time reversal jujutsu."

"Huh?" muttered everyone.

She merely smiled. "The moment you step in the domain, what you are, your age mainly, will remain the same each and every day. When the day passes, it's like a reset for your body within limits. I did it so that way I could have lots of children!" she said and blushed.

It only made things all the more awkward.

"So, no one ages here?"

"Oh there's a limit to that, I wouldn't be able to have children of my own if my body kept getting rest day after day. Children must grow up. When one comes here as a child, they will age until they turn 30, it stops the aging process. To keep people in their prime as it were, anyone who is beyond the age of thirty, their age will stop at their current state. Those who are fully mature will stop aging the moment they enter here."

"That explains that…" muttered Suiryu.

"I think that is all for now, these two need to settle in. Boys, I suggest they go to the guesthouse for now… Sukuna will need his accommodations upgraded,"

The two sighed with defeat. "This is what we get for wanting a pet huh?" muttered Yuuji.

"Yep," sighed Suiryu. Suiryu passed Nobara to Fushiguro, the two worked quickly to bring Sukuna to the guesthouse and have Chusi settle in. They walked ahead, however paused as Chusi was whispering in Mom's ear. She was requesting something and mom happily obliged her. She made something rather quickly, and placed a necklace around Chusi's neck. She was thrilled with it and then quickly caught up to them.

There was also another problem. Since she was created from a medium and not a vessel, Chusi had no idea about modern life; it's all the new advancements and technology, she couldn't settle until she learned some of it. "This… kitchen… what is it?" she asked.

"Eso," they said at the same time.

"Eso?" she asked.

"We're going to introduce you to one of our older brothers. He knows his way around the kitchen, so does Yuuji." Suiryu explained.

But she laughed at the notion! "Ryoto can't even boil water!" she snickered. "You can't possibly know how to cook!"

"This is going to take some getting use to…" Yuuji muttered.
