She felt as if she was drowning when she looked at him. All of the toxic air in her lungs was sucked out, and she couldn't breathe.

She felt as if she was witnessing something extraordinary, something beyond human comprehension. Even with the world falling into ruin and despair around her, she couldn't help but be drawn to this abnormality, even when she didn't know this perfect stranger's name and all she wanted to do was ruin him, have him destroy her, and everything in between.

She blinked, suspecting that he was simply a hallucination from one of the many toxins in the air, thick fuchsia lashes brushing against her lids, but no, he was still there, standing in the remains of some fallen building and looking untouchable by the world around him.

She could feel herself salivating as she curled a finger on a stray strand of fuchsia hair. Suddenly, her tight and low-cut light gray pinstriped one piece felt sweltering on her burning skin. The unexplainable urge to kiss him, to devour him, and to make him feel as unhinged as she did when she saw him washed over her.

But she couldn't help but be reminded of her best friend as she blatantly stared at him. The stranger had a similar face to Hajime, despite his deathly pale skin, long pitch-black hair, and piercing red eyes. But she knew Hajime was long dead, dead just like all the other Reserve Course students. All except for her, the lucky dumb whore that was of some use to Enoshima. At those thoughts, she decided to make a move.

"Are you alone?" She simpered when she reached him, her shimmering glossed lips curling into something more seductive and voice deepening into something huskier.

Ichigo didn't touch him, but she did tilt forward slightly and come as close to him as she could. He stared at her, as uninterested as they could come, but he didn't back away.

"I was," he replied monotonously, his eyes barely making contact with her, but it didn't matter.

She wanted him. More than despair, more than anything she'd ever wanted in the world. And she decided that she'd do anything to keep him.

end.
