A week after Ben had started his job at the Penalty Box, he and Wayn were hanging out at the mall on his day off.
"Thought you were saving up for that car," said Wayn as the two left a store.
"I am, but I'm also putting thirty percent of my pay aside for fun," said Ben.
"Can't be all work and no play, that'll just mean I'm boring," he said with a smile.
"Hey, I have to go to the restroom so I'll catch up at the bookstore," said Wayn who had noticed something out of the corner of his eye.
"Sure thing," said Ben. After the two had separated, Wayn went over to the food court with an angered expression.
"It's been a while, Wayn," said a girl sitting at a table with black hair that had a purple stripe through it. As the boy stood before her, she gave him a smug grin while taking a sip of her drink.
"Don't even think of going near him, Naomi," said Wayn.
"And why should I do that, Ben is my boyfriend," said Naomi.
"Correction, he's your ex, you crazy psycho," said Wayn.
"And after everything you put him through two years ago you should have been put in prison not the nut house that you were," he said.
"Judge didn't think so, and the doctors say I'm better now, so there's nothing for you to worry about," said Naomi.
"Or are you just trying to keep my man from me?" she asked with a glare.
"All I can say to that is that you're a good liar and they fail for it, and you had better stay away from him," said Wayn as he started walking away.
"Or we'll see what happens," he said.
"Yeah, we sure will," said Naomi with an evil smile. Shortly after the confrontation, Ben and Wayn were walking out of the bookstore after having bought some books.
"Man, that was…," said Ben before the two were surrounded by cops.
"What's going on?!" asked Wayn while they were both forced down to the ground.
"You're under arrest for attempted assault," said an officer while putting them in cuffs.
