Chapter 25
She appeared concerned.
Chusi has been pacing for the past three days, she knew where he was but didn't dare to go into the forest to look for him. "Uh… should we REALLY be this concerned over him? I mean, it's Sukuna," Gojo said offhandedly.
She sighed aloud. " 'Sukuna' as you have called him, isn't the Ryomen I know." She said gently. "I grew up with him, this is natural when he has to reflect on something, he prefers to be alone and we let him have that time. But, this is the longest he has been out of touch when reflecting… I'm worried."
"And I think I see where the crazy aspect of the Tooru family is…" muttered Geto.
He has been watching the whole thing, at the same time, he can't believe this woman is still head over heels for Sukuna! Let alone that there WAS a woman head over heels for Sukuna, it is as if what has happened in the past didn't happen. Or, ignorance is bliss?
Geto didn't quite know or understand either way, but, she must love him to be this worried for Sukuna's mindset.
"Hey, quick thought here… uh… what happens if he goes insane again?" Gojo asked randomly.
"Shit, I didn't think about that…" Geto muttered.
"He can't," Chusi said. "The dragons placed the collar on him, didn't they?" she asked. Both of them nodded to her as she smiled warmly. "Then he won't lose his mind… but his heart is going to hurt."
Suddenly, a red crow came out from the forest, it cawed aloud before it went into the village. Geto paused as it went to get the Itadori twins. Suiryu appeared confused as did Yuuji. "What's going on? Is he coming out of the forest now?" Suiryu asked.
The moment the question left his lips, he appeared. Sukuna, and yet he looked… odd.
Geto even stood up and stared at him strangely. He was pale, his face blank and devoid of emotion. There were bags under his eyes as he appeared more like a mess than anything else. "Brat… knockoff… with me…" he said in a plain tone.
The brothers looked to each other oddly as Sukuna walked by them. Chusi however grabbed their shoulders gently and said. "Don't be too hard on him,"
"That depends," Suiryu muttered.
"He has hurt a lot of people, and I don't even think he has reflected on that much," chimed Yuuji.
Geto watched them leave, and yet, Chusi was worried. "Oh, Ryomen…" she said with a sigh.
"What the hell happened to him? It's like someone sucked the life out of him!" Gojo protested.
"I got to admit, I saw that too… He almost looked… remorseful!"
They exchanged looks before they peered at Chusi once more. "So… any idea?" Satoru asked.
She sighed aloud. "I know what he is going to try and do… I just hope the dragons don't go through with it." She said.
"Which is…" they asked in a hinting tone.
Chusi sighed. "He's going to have them beat him up until he feels he has been punished enough."
Once more, they exchanged looks. "Uh… about that… those two have been holding back for some time in doing ANY sort of physical punishment on him. To go at him now might be…" hinted Satoru.
"The green light they have been waiting for, if anything, those two have been looking and waiting for a good enough reason to thrash him to death." Suguru chimed in.
Strangely enough, she appeared unworried. "Ryoto won't do that to him, I know my brother. And Ryujin would rough him up but not to the point of death."
"Uh…." The two began to mutter. But it was no use, there was no convincing her otherwise either. Chusi believes she knows what is going to happen, but isn't taking into account that those she knew, are not the same people anymore…
