Thankfully, the lasses rode in the RV back to the clinic. However, their parents wanted to scream at them regarding Gracie's condition! As far as their accountability in these circumstances? They are not entirely at fault. "How will you blame us for not trying to stop a slug?!" Throughout this adventure, Christen brought up several level-headed points. It wasn't something she was known for.
"We don't condemn you, dear daughters. However, one of your capabilities could have shielded her!" Neo-Queen Serenity was just as agonized as everyone else.
"I feel dreadful for Minako, Allan, Artemis, and Comet." Crystal glanced over, knowing these were the individuals most impacted by the redhead's crisis.
Everyone tried their most suitable to console the distraught clan. Luckily, Setsuna could ensure the emerald-eyed beauty did not pass away as she kept tabs on new arrivals in the Underworld. "Setsuna, please, tell me the truth. How is my baby girl currently?" Minako demaned for the 100th time. She naturally was in a devastating panic!
"Try to relax, Minako. Gracie is still very much alive." Setsuna gave the blue-eyed woman a sympathetic smile.
"We can't help it. Sorry if we are nagging you." Allan apologized.
"Not at all. I'm delighted to assist and guarantee the well-being of all the girls," the Soldier of Time gazed back into her Garnet Orb to resume watching over Venus's daughter.
One thing everyone loved about Gracie was her always smiling. No matter how dark a situation seemed, she was their light. With Christen and Shadow around, they didn't need another dark teammate. Even now, as that redhead lay in a hospital bed, pain lancing through her arm, her smile never dimmed! That gave her family a tiny bit of alleviation. Even so, when they arrived, Minako was the first to throw her arms around her "most precious thing in the universe."
"Mom, I'm going to be fine." Gracie winced as she accidentally bumped her injured arm.
"I know you're strong, Gracie. However, I'll always agonize concerning my baby girl." Minako nuzzles her daughter.
"Mom..." Gracie grumbled lowly as she despised being called "baby" by her parents. Despite her unmistakable annoyance, Minako and Gracie's looks, though entirely different, did blend well.
"Careful there, Gracie." Allan noticed the girl had bumped her arm and helped her reposition it to be more secure and hurt less. With Gracie recovering, the group decided to stay in the RV, so they could pop across the parking lot and visit the loving girl any time they bought something for her.
"I hate to admit Gracie is in this condition, but I'm elated we used the RV." Christen didn't want to sound like she wasn't thinking of her teammate's ordeal. Despite she was relishing a certain extent of luxury.
"It was the fastest way to get to the hospital," Ariel said, a warning tone in her voice for Christen not to open her big mouth too much.
Christen shook her head, her oil-black locks wavering. The gothic chick did not know how much more respectfully she could have worded her sentence. When it was determined Gracie could, at least, help restore the campsite to just woodland again, she was released! As the redhead could not lift anything heavier than one of her arms, Neo-Queen Serenity had everyone pack everything up in the RV, making the trip easier. As the RV trundled through the woods, the girls swore they saw Bigfoot, running, in and out of sight, alongside it! As they approached the edge, Bigfoot stopped and lifted one of his burly, hairy arms to wave 'goodbye.'
"Thank you...for allowing me to meet Kousagi..." Chibiusa whispered as the girls leaned out the windows to wave 'goodbye' back. Even Christen seemed to gain some more respect for nature.
