Chapter 32

"Feeling any better?"

Yua turned her head to see Suguru seated next to her. "How long have you been there for?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "Satoru asked me to look after you, he's keeping an eye on your… sister." He said and smirked. "There's no changing her mind on that is there?"

Yua smirked. "I don't mind, not the least bit." She said offhandedly. "But still, she is really worried about Sukuna… speaking of him…"

"Yeah, not even Satoru and I know. He isolated himself for three days, came out with a blank look on his face and took Suiryu and Yuuji along with him. Chusi said he wanted them to beat the snot out of him, but, he wasn't hurt last time I saw him…"

"So…"

"He went missing for a day, same with Yuuji. That's the last I've heard."

"Thank you for keeping me posted…" Yua sighed as she peered over herself, her arms and legs were still stubs, there was no getting around here unless she is carried.

"Did you want to get some fresh air? Something to eat? I'll carry you."

She was stunned. "Thanks… also why are you doing this and not Gojo?"

"I wonder that as well, but I think he wants to make sure Sukuna didn't go insane again or something, also Chusi isn't exactly… all there either."

"She has a lot to learn, considering this is a different way of being brought back. Those who had vessels gained the knowledge of the modern world through the person they took over. She was made from scratch with no information to learn from."

Suguru paused oddly but nodded. "That makes sense." He said. "It is rather funny though, she is calling Yuuji, Ryoto and Suiryu is being called Ryujin!"

"It's because she sees the souls within…" Yua sighed. "Perhaps that's why…"

"Why what?"

"Why she is so willing to take Sukuna back. She has looked into his soul and found that there still something there worth saving… something she hopes to regain."

Suguru went silent. "That's deep," he whispered.

"Anyways, can I take you up on your offer of giving me a lift… literally."

He smirked but obliged, he made a sling and strapped Yua to his back. "Okay, where to?"

Gojo thought he would see a beating as well, didn't she threaten him earlier with one? Or is this another Tooru mind game? He didn't know at this point, but he understood now, don't mess with her, and stick to picking on Sukuna!

Yet, as they made their way back into the village. Chusi paused as she saw something. Her smile grew. "See, now that's a man!" she decreed.

Gojo peered and saw Suguru was carrying Yua around. They were talking but couldn't hear what was going on.

"Suguru Geto has done terrible things as well," Sukuna said to her. "But he is six eyes' best friend."

Chusi continued to stare. "Despite that, there's chemistry there… he would be a good brother in law."

"Hey… I'm RIGHT here!" Gojo protested. "Besides, I got her first! SEE!" he shoved his ring finger at her.

Chusi glared at him. She forcefully lowered his arm, "I GOT her first?" she questioned.

"Bad choice of words," Sukuna muttered. "You're in for it now."

"What?!" Gojo demanded.

"Your tone sickens me. I GOT her FIRST… it makes it sound like there was a contest to obtain my sister…" she said in a rather judging tone. "Quite frankly, I don't even see WHY she married you. What have you offered her besides children at this point?"

"Are you kidding me right now?!" Gojo snapped back. "I have always looked out for Yua! She is one of the very few people I respect and listen to!"

"I can vouch for that," Sukuna muttered. "At the same time, I can also see Chusi's perspective as well. Despite everything, you and Yua haven't done much as a family. Let alone proven your worth to her. If anything, she's like a glorified babysitter to you…"

Gojo was at a loss.

"YOU are seriously judging me!?"

"Hey, what's going on?"

Gojo paused as Yua called out to them. Suguru was kind enough to bring her over to investigate when Chusi smiled to him. "Suguru Geto correct?" she asked and smiled.

"Yes…"

"I like the way you have been treating my sister there. I wonder why her husband doesn't do such a thing… but then again I remembered, he treated her like a toddler when she has no means of eating the food before her…"

"I was joking around!"

"There is a time and place for that, but that wasn't IT!" she snapped back.

Satoru was silent on the matter.

"Back to the matter at hand… are you single?"

Geto froze. "Uh… yes…"

"Good, Sis, I think you need a second husband. One that actually DOES things for you like this…"

"What?!" Yua demanded. "Look, I can appreciate your perspective here…"

"Mother had four husbands herself… my father was just the only one who was able to survive…"

Sukuna was even stunned to this. "Really? Mother Tooru had four husbands?"

"Before she met my father, yes. But they all died. I remember my uncle telling me later on about that. Tooru women tend to take more than one husband if the family approves, I approve of him…"

"Just so you know, he was a former shell to Kenjaku." Sukuna whispered to her.

She paused oddly and peered at him. Suguru froze like a deer in the headlights as Chusi continued to eye him oddly. "Interesting… I think I will have to have a chat with him later about that… for now, continue on as you were. Sis, keep him in mind. I think he's worth taking for yourself!"

"STANDING RIGHT HERE!" Gojo protested.

However Chusi glared at Satoru once more. "Yeah, and what of it? Look here, Six eyes. If my clan… OUR clan…" she said and yet had her sights on Yua. "Were still here and in great numbers… you never would have even spoken to her. We NEVER approved of the so called three great families, in fact, after this whole fiasco with Sukuna ended, they turned on us after we refined their techniques!" she snapped. "Marriage to them, was banned that moment on… And to think you wormed your way in… I'll be watching you…"

Gojo froze once more, he turned to Sukuna who was now smiling wickedly. "I'm going to enjoy watching this…"
