March 17
6:00 AM
Waiting outside my house, I waited for a ride to school, the first day back since I chased off Leviathan. Everything has started to go back to normal. If I can kill Leviathan the next time he shows up that should make sea travel the safest form of transportation, I just need a way to stop Eidolon from creating any more endbringers, and I can do something besides pure annihilation.
"Eric! Come on let's go or we'll be late." Snapping out of my thoughts I looked up to see Vicky floating in her school, uniform looking impatient as shit,
"Why would we be late we still have thirty minutes before school even opens, and where's Amy?" looking around I couldn't find Amy anywhere.
"Ame's spent the night with Sarah, she called me saying she was getting a ride today now come on." Vicky put me over her shoulder and launched towards Arcadia.
While flying is the best feeling in the world; the view of the city, the breeze flowing through your hair. That always made my day better, but not when being carried over your cousin's indestructible shoulder like a sack of potatoes with the said shoulder pressing against my bladder.
Seeing the PRT HQ passing us by, I felt both relief knowing we'd be arriving in a few seconds, and dread at the realization that everyone will see Vicky carrying me over her shoulder. Why do all the women in my family embarrass me in front of large groups of people?
Landing at the school parking lot Vicky finally put me down, turned me towards the door, and started pushing through the doors. Walking down the halls I could hear laughter, turning my head I could see groups of students laughing at New Wave's family antics.
Finally arriving at the auditorium Vicky stopped guiding me, The look of excitement was visible as she dragged us beside the auditorium doors.
"Vicky I swear to God, if you made me go through all that just so you could make out with Dean this early in the morning I willcastratehim." Looking her in the eyes to prove that I am serious.
Rolling her eyes she opened the doors and pushed me in with her following right behind me. We sat in the seats in the back. "Relax, today we're getting a lecture from one of the leading professors in parahuman powers. I wanted to see it, and I thought it would be fun to do it together. The last few days have been crazy, so we can relax and learn something new."
Vicky patted my shoulder and turned towards the stadium, probably wishing time would hurry the hell up. Snorting at the thought I leaned against the back of my chair. As time passed more people started arriving. First was Dean, who was sitting beside Vicky when I aimed at his family jewels, next to me was Amy who was currently being awkwardly cuddled by her girlfriend Sarah.
Sarah was 5'6, with shoulder-length black hair, green eyes, and pale skin. She was wearing a blue top, and pencil skirt that exposed enough skin to make Amy's face red as a tomato, and gets her flustered, but decent enough to still be appropriate enough that she won't get reprimanded by the school.
After a few minutes, the auditorium was packed with students who either wanted extra credit and a few who wanted to be there. All the teachers were standing by the door, making sure no students snuck out.
After waiting another thirty minutes, our principle, a kind older man with a bald head, thick-rimmed glasses, who always wears a brown suit with a white undershirt, and a red bow-tie.
"Good morning everyone, I hope you are all having a great morning. Today we have a special treat. Today we have Dr. Romani who was generous enough to let us pick his brain for a bit, so please give him the respect and courtesy that Arcadia requests of you. Please come on up Dr."
He was a thick man with a bald spot on the top of his head and thick glasses. He wore a white button-up. As he walked on stage he shook the principles hand and grabbed the mic.
"Hello students of Arcadia My name is Dr. Romani, and I have been called to speak to you about my work in parahuman biology." The doctor started rubbing his chin as though he had a beard.
"Like most people who share a passion for the understanding of parahuman abilities, the reason we got into it was because of Scion. I remember when I was just a boy when I saw the news reporting a golden man floating over the ocean. That was when I became obsessed with learning everything about him, and when others started developing powers as well? I knew I had to learn everything I could about there mutation, hoping that one day I could give myself powers, I now know I didn't win the genetic lottery, but that didn't mean I stopped learning everything I could."
The poor man, he worships the thing that would kill him.

Lisa didn't know when she got so weird, she was once a girl who's only concern was passing the next test, now she's a member of a group of villains, working for a man, if he can be called that, with a thing for kidnapping underage thinkers. Now she has to deal with a girl who shares a bit too many similarities with her brother, damn power.
"Taylor, we get why your upset, hell we're pissed off too, but that's how Coil works he finds people in the worst situations imaginable, he then promises them the world, and if he can't buy your loyalty, he'll force it. He treats everyone like a toy that he plays with until he grows bored of them," Lisa looked at Taylor, who had a pretty decent poker face, but before her power, she was an open book.
[Doesn't know what to believe, thinks your lying to her, thinks you'll betray her.]
Taylor, I promise I will make sure you live the best I can give you, I'm so sorry about this. "Look Taylor how your feeling, that's how I've felt since the day I met him, every hour he'd make things worse and worse, this is just him bullying his pawns, to him, this is just a prank." Lisa felt guilt crush her as she saw Taylor's poker face break, showing all the pain she keeps hidden underneath.
"Look we can save Dinah, we just need to wait for an opening-."
I should've known
I'd leave alone
Just goes to show
That the blood you bleed
Is just the blood you owe
We were a pair
But I saw you there
Too much to bear
You were my life
But life is far away from fair
Was I stupid to love you?
Was I reckless to help?
Was it obvious to everybody else
That I'd fallen for a lie?
You were never on my side
Fool me once, fool me twice
Are you death or paradise?
Now you'll never see me cry
There's just no time to die
I let it burn
You're no longer my concern
Faces from my past return
Another lesson yet to learn
That I'd fallen for a lie
You were never on my…
"Speak of the devil," I muttered. Taylor's eyes widened thinking Coil knew she was planning on leaving. "It's fine Taylor, if he knew he wouldn't call."
"What do you want Coil?"
[Couldn't contact you, had to use subordinate's phone, is injured, needs help.]
"Sarah I need you to-."
[Needs you to do something no one else can do. Hurt, was attacked. No attacked cape, but it backfired. Eric Pelham, wants you to seduce him.]
"Oh Fuck no," I canceled the call, looking up I saw Taylor's confused expression. "I think we just got our opening."
