"So I suppose I have to fight with you afterall, Naruto," Sasuke said.
"Wait, Sasuke-kun!" Sakura cried, tears sliding down her face. "... No matter what's happened, I still care about you more than I can bear... And here we are again and still all I can do is sit here and cry. I'm so pathetic. But Sasuke-kun, if I still have a place somewhere in your heart, no matter how small it maybe. Please I'm begging you... if we just stay together, I'm sure some days things would go back to the way they're used to be."
Sarada could sense the desperation and sadness from her mother's declaration of love.
"Mama..." Tears slipped down from her eyes. "Mama must feel so tortured. Actually everyone..."
Sarada saw her father stopped walking, he turned around with a similar sarcastic smile. "You really are annoying."
And then her mother collapsed.
"Genjutsu," Sarada said.
"Bingo! Isn't this scene a parallel of the scene when your father defected the village. But why did your Papa said Aunt Sakura was annoying?"
"Because... because..." Sarada muttered, "maybe deep down in Papa's heart, he was for one second persuaded. Maybe Mama's words did shake his heart somehow."
"Sakura never stops wanting to save you. Never!" Kakashi shouted.
"You want me to play a game of romance with her? There is no reason for me to love her, nor there is any reason for her to love me."
"With this vow of no love no romantic games, how did Aunt Sakura and your Papa get together?"
"Who knows," Sarada said dejectedly. "We're back to the starting point. And I thought they grow a bit closer to each other after Papa saved the exhausted Mama. And when did Mama mention anything about romance with him?" Sarada cried in anger. "Papa totally misunderstood! I think he should have his brain checked!"
Chocho patted Sarada's shoulder in comfort.
"I am so exhausted. When will their love you hate you kill you story ends," Sarada cried in frustration.
"So I am right all along!" Chocho cried. "It's not a romance story, but a angst filled melodrama romance!"
"Huh, what's the difference?"
"Hate, love, misunderstanding, miscarriages, memory loss and whatnots."
"We have the hate, love, misunderstanding all right. But the others, please don't!"
"Sarada!" a familiar voice cried. "Finally we found you!"
She was then pulled into a tight embrace. This feeling, this smell, it's... "Mama!"
"Yes, it's me, Sarada." Sakura petted Sarada gently on her head.
"Are you my Mama?" Sarada asked. That's when she realized, her mother face and arms were lined with black marks similar to that time when she tried to save Papa from another dimension.
Sakura hit Sarada lightly on her head. "If I'm not your Mama, who are?"
And then someone appears behind her mother.
"Sakura, I told you not to run too quickly. I'm not familiar with this dimension."
"Papa!" Sarada took in the man in front of her. One of his eyes was covered with his bangs. His left arm was missing. He seemed to be her Papa. But...
Sarada pushed Sakura behind her and stared at him, arms crossed in front of her chest. "You don't deserve my Mama!"
"What... Sarada what are you talking about?" Sakura asked in genuine confusion.
"Mama, why did you choose someone like him?"
"Ha? Sarada, are you ill?" Sakura asked with concern.
"But Sarada, we still haven't watched till the end. Maybe your Papa did something to redeem himself. We're still at the love hate stage," Chocho said.
"Still!" Sarada humphed. "Mama, he said he was not interested in playing a game of romance with you!"
"Huh?"
"Wait..." Sasuke closed his eyes. He sighed, "Where did you hear that? Kakashi?"
Sarada pointed at the scene in front of her.
"Wait... isn't this the war?" Sakura asked. "Oh this is what happened after Sasuke-kun put me under Genjutsu?"
"So it is true?" Sarada cried. "And I had this slim hope that that Papa isn't real! That everything is a complex Genjutsu!"
"Just what exactly did you see?" Sasuke asked.
"Enough!" Sarada humphed in anger. And then white light enclosed all of them.
