Potter Manor

(Sirius' pov)

Yawning heavily , I looked at my Potions homework trying to make sense of it. Where did a bezoar come from? A goats stomach or a sheeps stomach? I couldn't think. It was too late for this 12:00 in the night. James was snoring next to me , drooling on his homework. Maybe I should just copy from him. Just as I was reaching out for it , I heard the floo go off and beside me James startled awake from the noise. Grabbing my wand I walked over to see who it was and to my shock there was Reg standing there as it it was normal for people to show up and this late hour.

" Reggie! "

"Er hi Sirius" he sounded sure of himself and calm but I could see the nervousness in his eyes.

" Why's baby black here and what's the trunk for? " James questioned breaking the awkward silence.

Regulus was looking anywhere but at us and he opened his mouth and closed it so many times before he was able to get any words out. What the hell?! Reg was never this nervous. Usually he'd never shut up.

" Yes? " I asked encouraging him to speak. Looking at him made me feel guilty , I wished I'd never left him but I was so sure at the time he wouldn't come with me.

" C-could I er-- stay here? They wanted me to join The Death Eaters but I didn't want to so I ranaway. " he hastily explained.

Concerned I asked, " Did you have any trouble coming here? "

He shrugged saying , " I was fine, ran into Bella and she called me a bloodtraitor , I told her she was the bloodtraitor then stunned her. " He had relaxed because he hadn't been told to leave straight away.

" Wait a second, you mean Bellatrix Black the crazy psycho who attacks people for fun? " exclaimed James . He'd heard horrible stories about the girl and had always stayed away from her. Baby Black must be suicidal he mused.

" You called her a bloodtraitor , get she didn't like that! " I said laughing. Reggie must be more brave than he lets on , even I Sirius Black the Great am scared of her , not that I'd admit that.

" So can I stay? " asked Reg giving us puppy dog eyes.

" Course you can! " good James grinning.

"Thanks!" Regulus said beaming. I couldn't take it anymore, I ran at him , grabbing him in a hug , tears running down my face. Reggie hugged me back sobbing quietly. God , I was so happy. Finally we were together , brothers again.

(James pov)

I watched Sirius run over , crying softly , to Reg trapping him in a hug. Regulus was sobbing into his shoulder a smile on his face. I decided not to point it out to them , they'd kill me if I did. I felt happy for both of them as it was clear they'd missed each other. I'd always felt bad for Baby Black cause I knew he got treated the same as Padfoot but was to scared to do anything about it. I'd be a horrible friend of I turned Regulus down .
