Before we start, to answer all your questions from the review yesterday, It'll be what I feel like doing, it'll all be based on what happened in season 5 and what I plan to do later. Now Chapter 4.
Chapter 4
Electric Talon
Electric Talon
Electric Talon was a bustling city, built on the river. The buildings were small, had stalls selling everything to be sold, and lanterns lighting up the market place in the center of the city.
"Wow! What a smart way to Druun-proof your house. Build right on the water. People of Electric Talon are geniuses." Sisu said to everyone. "Why did it have to be more water?" Rayla asked, as the boat docked on the farthest dock in the city. "Yeah. Electric Talon may look nice…" Raya said to Sisu, but Rayla interrupted her. "You and I have different ideas of nice." Rayla said to Raya. "But it's a hotspot for pickpockets and con artists." Raya said to everyone.
"Lucky for me. Empty pockets!" Sisu said to everyone. "Well, not really. You have a Pokeball." Callum said to Sisu. "So what's the plan?" Allen asked Raya. "Okay, so here's the good news. I know where the gem piece is. The bad news? It's being held by the notorious Chief of Electric Talon, Dang Hai. What Dang Hi lacks in style, he makes up in mean." Raya said to everyone.
"Gotcha. Now we're just gonna have to turn up the charm. Let's go get him a gift." Sisu said to everyone, as Raya put on her cloak and hat. Then Sisu started to leave. "Sisu, I think maybe it's safer for you to stay here on the boat." Raya said to Sisu. "What?" Sisu asked Raya.
"Without you or your partner, we can't put the gem back together." Raya said to Sisu. "But I wanna help." Sisu said to Raya. "I know, and you will. By staying safe." Raya said to Sisu. "You all stay here as well. I'll be back before you know it." Raya said to everyone. "What no way. At the very least me and Drake are coming with you." Allen said to Raya.
"Yeah, no. I need stealth to pull this off." Raya said to Allen, as she put on her cloak and hat. "We can be pretty stealthy when we want to. And if or when you get into trouble, you'll be glad to have us with you." Drake said to Raya. "Fine. but only Drake and Allen. The rest of you stay here." Raya said to everyone. "If you see any hungry faces, send 'em my way." Boun said to them. "You got it, Captain." Raya said to Boun. "We'll be right back." Allen said to everyone, as he, Drake, Raya, and Tuk Tuk left the group.
A few minutes later, Raya, Drake, and Allen were in the busy market. While walking three white monkey creatures noticed them walking by, one had a hat, one was tiny, and the last one was big. The three monkey creatures followed them.
Then they came into view of a large building. "All right, there's Dang Hai's house. No detours till we score that Dragon Gem." Raya said to everyone. "Maybe you should keep the reason we're here to yourself. If this place is really full of thieves and pickpockets, then chances are Dang Hai has a few people keeping tables on what's going on in the streets." Drake said to Raya.
Then a baby crying caught their attention. "Whoa. What in the…" Raya said, as they all noticed the small asian baby girl, with black hair that mostly tied into three small buns, brown eyes, wearing a purple onesie made from fabric being wrapped around her, and a pick strap around her waist.
"Uh…" Raya said, not knowing what to do. "We just can't leave her." Allen said to Raya, as he and Drake walked to the baby. "Okay." Raya said, following the twins. Raya then picked up the baby. "Hey, baby, toddler, thing… whatever you're called." Raya said to the baby. "Why is a baby out here alone this late at night?" Allen asked everyone.
Meanwhile Tuk Tuk noticed the monkey's and growled at them. The monkey's then show fruit to Tuk Tuk, making Tuk Tuk calm down. Then as Tuk Tuk ate the fruit, the monkey's started to dig through his bags.
"Yeah, it's really late. What are you doing out here? Where are your parents?" Raya asked the baby. "They can't be far away." Allen said to everyone. "Hey, uh, whose baby…" Raya asked, as she turned around to see the monkey's taking the Dragon Gem pieces. "What? Ongis? Drop 'em!" Raya said to the monkeys.
Then the ongis ran away, and before anyone could go after them, the baby pulled Raya's hat down, and then kicked her, making Raya crash into Drake and Allen, knocking the three of them to the ground. Then the baby threw power into their faces and ran to join the ongis. "Really? A con-baby?" Raya said. "I didn't no see that coming, or seen anything that crazy before." Allen said, as they got up and went after the baby and ongis.
Back on the boat, Sisu was uneasy about Raya's plan, as Kali tried to comfort Rayla, and Callum and Ezran relaxed on the boat. "Ah, this giving me bad feels. Chief Dang Hai does not sound like someone you could smooth talk. And Raya, Allen, and Drake didn't even bring a gift." Sisu said to everyone. "I don't think smooth talk is what they're planning to do." Kali said to Sisu.
"That's it. I'm going shopping. Oh, wait. I don't have any money." Sisu said to everyone. "You're an adult. You could just put it on credit." Boun said to Sisu. "Oh… Uh, what's credit?" Sisu asked Boun. "Yeah, what's that?" Kali asked Boun. "It's kinda like a promise. You take what you want now, and you promise you'll pay it back later." Boun said to everyone.
"Pay it back later? Huh! What an amazing concept." Sisu said to everyone. "Are you sure? It feels like we're missing something." Callum said to Sisu. "I wish Allen and Drake were here. They probably know credit is." Ezran said to everyone.
"Thanks, Captain Boun." Sisu said to Boun before leaving. "Sisu wait!" Callum said, as he and Ezran went after Sisu, leaving Bait, Rayla, and Kali on the boat with Boun.
Soon Sisu, Callum, and Ezran were in the market, with Callum and Ezran having a hard time getting through the market, and as Sisu started to take stuff from the stalls. "I'll be buying this with credit." Sisu said, as she took a paper fish. "Oh Dang Hai's gonna love this! Credit, please." Sisu said, taking a woven manikin head with fancy necklaces on it. "Oh, I like that. Uh, Yeah, I'll be using credit, yes." Sisu said, as she took a hat.
"I love credit." Sisu said. "Uh Sisu." Callum said, as he and Ezran noticed Sisu gathering a crowd. "Hey, you!" A male merchant said to Sisu. "Are you going to pay for any of that?" the man asked Sisu. Callum and Ezran tried to reach Sisu, but the crowd kept forcing them back.
"Oh!" Sisu said, chuckling a little. "Right, right. No, this is on credit. Yeah, I'm gonna pay it back later." Sisu said to the man. "Pay us back later? We don't know you." The man said to Sisu. "You have no credit here. Pay us right now." A woman said to Sisu. "Now?" Sisu asked everyone, and laughed nervously. "I don't have anything, but if I could just find my girl Raya, she has a sword, dried eats, and two Dragon Gem pieces." Sisu said, making Callum and Ezran slap their hands into their faces with a "you gotta be kidding me" feel.
Then an old lady with a large hat was able to move to the front of the crowd. "No, we don't! What? Who said that?" Sisu said, trying to cover her words. "You better pay up, binturi." The man said to Sisu. "This isn't a charity." The woman said to Sisu. "Who do you think you're stealing from?" The man asked Sisu, grabbing Sisu. "Get away from her!" The old lady said, pushing the man back away from Sisu. "Can't you see she's new in town?" The old lady asked the man. "Come, dear. Don't be afraid. It's okay." The old woman said to Sisu, as she led Sisu away.
That's when the crowd dispersed, and Callum and Ezran lost Sisu. "This isn't good." Ezran said to Callum. "We need to find Raya, Allen, and Drake, and tell them about this.
Meanwhile, Raya, Allen, and Drake were still running through the city, chasing the con-baby and her ongis. The con-baby laughed as they ran onto a narrow bridge, making everyone lose Tuk Tuk. annoyed by this Tuk Tuk went a different way.
Then the con-baby and the ongis made a sharp turn, jumping off the walkway and onto the boats below. "That's it!" Allen said, as he and Drake made their staff glow red and blue, and started to fly after the con-baby, with Raya running behind them.
As Drake and Allen flew, they got the attention of some of the people, and even scared the con-baby and the ongis, not out of fear, more out of surprise. "Hand over our stuff now!" Drake said to the con-baby and ongis, as he reached from the Dragon Gem pisces.
They dodged Drake by jumping from boat to boat, tossing fruit at them. But that did little effect. Then Raya was able to run ahead on them, and landed on the boat they were jumping too. But the con-baby and the ongis were able to slingshot themselves up and over Raya's head. They got onto a platform, and started to run again. Allen helped Raya up, and he and Drake kept flying after them, as Raya ran after them.
Then the con-baby threw a diaper at Raya, grossing out Raya a little. "Diaper!" Raya said, as she dodged the diaper. Then the ongis helped the con-baby put on another diaper as they ran. "Just when I thought this kid couldn't get any stranger." Allen said to everyone.
Then the con-baby and the ongis jumped through the window, and Raya followed them, threw it, and the twins went over the river to avoid the window. But then Tuk Tuk showed up in their path, and slammed a gate into their path, stopping them. Before they could get up, Drake and Allen landed on their sides, their staffs flowing, and letting out some heat and a crackling sound. Then Raya pulled out her sword and planted it into the floor above them.
"It's over. Hand them over. Now!" Drake said to them. Realizing that they lost, the con-baby made the little and hat ongis give back the Dragon Gem pieces. "Thanks." Raya said, as she put the Dragon Gem pieces away. "So, it's none of my business, but using your baby charm to rip people off… is super sketchy." Raya said to the con-baby.
The con-baby and the ongis got up and huffed at her. "All right, where is your family?" Raya asked the con-baby. "Yes. I need to have a word with them." Drake said to the con-baby. The con-baby just blew in their faces and told the ongis they're leaving. But the small one stayed and told them from positioning, the Druun got them.
"Oh, right." Raya said to everyone. "At least now we know why she's a con artist now." Allen said to everyone. Then Raya looked at the chief's house. "Hey. How would you like to earn some honest loot?" Raya asked the con-baby and the ongis, getting their attention.
And this work was distracting the guard with a show, and it worked, allowing Raya, Allen, and Drake to move into the chief's house. There they moved through the house and found a man overlooking the city.
"All right, Dang Hai, We'll take that Dragon Gem piece." Raya said to the man, with their weapons pointed at him. That's when the man turned around with a bowl of flowers in his hands. "Whoa! I'm not Dang Hai. I'm Chai, the flower guy." The man said to everyone. "Where is Dang Hai?" Raya asked Chai, making Chai chuckle. "He's right over there." Chai said, as he turned his head to the right.
This made everyone turn their heads to the left to see a man, statue by the Druun. "What?" Raya asked. "If he's stone? Then who's in charge here?" Allen asked everyone. "Who has his gem piece?" Raya asked Chai, making Chai chuckle again. "The most vicious chief Electric Talon has ever seen." Chai said to them. "Who?" Drake asked Chai.
That chief was the old lady leading Sisu to the edge of the city. "Those folks were, like, crazy mad. I just wanted to bring some gifts to the Electric Talon chief Dang Hai." Sisu said to the old lady. "Is that who you're looking for, dear? I know exactly where he is." The old lady said to Sisu. "You do?" Sisu asked the old lady, getting excited. "Mm-hmm. I will take you there." The old lady said to Sisu.
"See? That's what I've been trying to tell my girl Raya. and she's all like, "You can't trust people." "Don't talk to anyone." "I only eat terrible foods I dried myself."." Sisu said to the old lady, as two big men moved behind her and the old lady, and the old lady laughed. "Come, dear. Chief Dang Hai is just outside the city, beyond the gates." The old lady said to Sisu.
"Away from the water, huh? Wow. He really likes living on the edge." Sisu said, as they walked up some stairs. Then the big men opened a large gate at the top of the steps. That's when Sisu noticed someone. "Hi There, Dang Hai. Um, I'm Sisu. and I've come here to offer you some…" Sisu said, before she realized that the someone was a statue. That's when a Druun came up at Sisu.
This caused Sisu to scream. But before the Druun got her, the old lady pulled out a tiny Dragon Gem piece with a lighting bolt in it. This piece forced the Druun back. "Now, you're gonna tell me where I can find those other Dragon Gem pieces, or I'll leave you outside with that thing. Take your pick." The old lady said to Sisu, as the big men slowly closed the door.
"But I… I trusted you." Sisu said to the old lady. "Big Mistake. You better talk fast. It looks hungry." The old lady said to Sisu, as the Druun got closer, and the big men laughed a little as they closed the door. "No. No, no. No, no, no!" Sisu said, as she ran to the door.
But then the door burst open, and Sisu saw Drake sending the big men flying, with his staff encased in large amounts of electricity. Then Drake grabbed the old lady with one hand and lifted her up into the air. When he did that Raya came rolling up on Tuk Tuk, taking the Dragon Gem piece. Raya then rolled in front of Sisu and forced the Drunn back.
"Raya! Drake!" Sisu said to them, as she got onto Tuk Tuk. "You veil old lady. You feed your own people to the Druun. You have no right to be Chief. Thunder Wave." Drake said to the old lady, as he made the old lady glow yellow, and made it so she couldn't move.
"Sisu, I told you to stay on the boat. Thank goodness Callum and Ezran found us and told us about this." Raya said to Sisu, as Sisu was ready to go. "Sorry." Sisu said to Raya. Then the Druun showed up, and Raya got ready to ball. "Hold on to this for me, will ya?" Raya asked Sisu, giving her the Gem piece. That's when a burst of fog came out of Sisu.
The fog made the Druun back away. "Fog?" Raya asked Sisu, as Tuk Tuk rolled past Drake. "Yeah. That was my brother Jagan's magic." Sisu said to Raya. "DRAKE COME ON!" Raya yelled to Drake as they entered the town.
"It's time you feel what your people felt as you threw them to the Druun." Drake said to the old lady, before tossing her past the gates. And while she wasn't hurt, the Thunder Wave made it so she was unable to move. "May Arceus have mercy on your soul." Drake said to the old lady, as he closed the doors.
That's when the fog faded away, and the Druun came back. That's when fear consumed the old lady's heart, as the Druun got closer to her.
Drake flew up into the air and went after everyone. After a bit he caught up with Raya, Sisu, and Tuk Tuk. "Did you have to do that to her?" Sisu asked Drake. "She tried to feed you to the Druun and did it to many of her own people. She got off easy if you ask me." Drake said to Sisu. "Focus. We have three down, two to go." Raya said to everyone.
Then they reached the boat. "All right Captain Boun, next stop, Ice Spine… Aah!" Raya said to Boun, as she got off Tuk Tuk, and dodged a bowl that was sent flying at her. That's when they noticed the con-baby and the ongis eating a lot of Boun's cooking. "Thanks for the new customers!" Boun said to Raya, as Sisu got off Tuk Tuk, and Drake landed on the ship.
"Yeah, I sort of promosided to buy them all the congress they could eat." Raya said to everyone, as she offered jerky to everyone, and noticed Allen, Rayla, Kali, Ezran, and Callum sitting on the upper decks of the boat. "Well, we're stuck with them for a while 'cause ongis have nine stomachs." Boun said to everyone. "These little things. No way." Drake said to Boun. "Trust me, it's true. We've seen them eat enough for nine stomachs." Allen said to Drake.
"Oh, toi." Raya said, as everyone took a seat, and as Boun got the ship moving. "I can't believe it. That old lady was really gonna hurt me." Sisu said to everyone. "Well, I'm sorry, Sisu, but that's what the world is now. You can't trust anyone." Raya said to Sisu. "Also it doesn't help that you told everyone we have some important things with us. This is what happens when you have no idea what you are doing, blindly trust someone, and tell them you need to know information." Drake said to Sisu, holding up three fingers.
Then the con-baby moved to Sisu. "Can we trust babies?" Sisu asked everyone. "Uh, well…" Raya said to Sisu. "I don't…" Drake said. "She's so cute. I mean, look at those cheeks." Sisu said to everyone. But instead of her grabbing the con-baby cheek, the con-baby grabbed Sisu's cheek. "Hi, I'm Sisu." Sisu said to the con-baby, with a muffled voice. The con-baby smiled and climbed onto Sisu's head.
"She loves my face." Sisu said to everyone." Sisu said to everyone. "Yeah, watch out, she doesn't steal your teeth. Here, let me help you." Raya said to Sisu. "Oh, that's so sweet. Okay, that's, uh… That's too much sweet… too much sweetness. It's too much!" Sisu said, as Raya tried to get the con-baby of Sisu, but having no luck. "Uh, Rayla, Kali, a little help here." Raya asked Rayla and Kali.
