It has been 2 years since the barrier has dropped over the Isle of the Lost and Auradon is whole once again. All of the villains such as; Lady Tremaine, Gaston, Ursula, Cruella De Vil, etc. have been let off the Isle of the Lost along with their kids to live normal lives. All of the main Villains have been going through therapy and anger management. And as for their kids, they have been going through anger management and therapy so those who need it and all of the new VK's have a ton of Fairy Godmother's goodness classes and that has really helped and everyone has managed to keep the peace for two years.
Now enough about that let me catch you up on the original 4 VK's and what they are doing. Mal and Ben had the wedding of the century and they had a cake that topped Beast and Belle's and romance was definitely in the air that night since Doug finally popped the question and asked Evie to marry him. And of course, she said yes. Mal has been an excellent queen and she and Ben have amazingly managed to keep the peace in Auradon. Jay and Gill have taken a break from travelling the world to help with the current festivities. Jay and Loni finally started going out. And Jay and Gill had left to travel right after Mal and Ben had gotten married. And as for Carlos, he can't make it since he decided to pursue his dream of being a vet and is busy studying overseas. He and Jane have been leading a successful long-distance relationship and Jane has gone to visit him and will be back after the annual garden party which is tomorrow.
"Mal… Mal… MAL!" yelled Evie
"Yes I am here now what is all the yelling about E?" responded Mal
"Come on M we have to finalise your outfit for the royal garden party. Come on we don't have all day and I have other appointments," said Evie
"What is the point? I will just wear my usual white and purple dress," said Mal looking and feeling completely exhausted. Mal was paler than usual and that concerned Evie. Mal has been running circles in and out of the castle trying her best to fulfil her queenly duties and prepare for the royal garden party since it is her first royal event as queen other than her wedding which was 9 months ago.
"The point is this is your first event as queen and you need to look amazing I already asked Dizzy to help design a headpiece and a necklace to go with your shoes and all you have to decide if you want the dress with the gold lining finish or the frill finish," said Evie looking at both options then looking back at Mal "Hey M? Are you sure you are feeling ok, you like you are totally drained," said Evie with a lot of concern in her voice.
"Yea you're right my first event as queen, let's go with the golden finish it looks more royal," replied Mal. "And yes I am feeling fine. I have been a little dizzy today. I haven't been able to grab some lunch yet." replied Mal "Pass me that trash can hurry E" promptly after saying that Evie gave her the trash can and Mal threw up and Evie looked concerned kneeling beside her and holding her up.
"Oh my god, Mal," said a shocked Evie
And 2 minutes later Mal threw up again and at that moment Ben was walking by with Jay when he saw his wife throwing up.
"Oh my god! Mal are you ok? Jay hurries up and gets the royal doctor. He is downstairs near the pavilion." Said, Ben looked concerned while in an attempt to comfort Mal.
It has been 10 minutes and Mal, Ben, Jay and Evie are in the royal infirmary. Mal has stopped throwing up and she is lying down while being inspected by the doctor and is looking paler than snow.
"Is she alright? What is wrong with her Dr Carrington?" asked a very concerned Ben
"Not to worry she is fine. She is just dehydrated and she has not been eating much lately, haven't you? Your Highness?" asked Dr Carrington to Mal
"No, I haven't, I have been caught up with trying to prepare for tomorrow and trying to make sure-" Mal was cut off by her father, Hades, bursting in.
"I heard what happened from the staff. Mal honey are you alright? What happened?" said Hades as he was bursting in search of his precious daughter.
"Your Daughter has not been eating properly and has not been keeping hydrated," responded Jay. "Mal come on you have to eat and drink enough water. When was the last time you ate?" asked Jay accusingly to Mal
Closing her eyes in an attempt to remember " Yesterday morning." replied Mal hesitantly
6 voices were directed at trying to teach her the importance of eating properly.
"Ok everyone settles down," said Dr Carrington. " And Your Highness I prescribing you bed rest until tomorrow, 3 proper meals and at least 9 cups of water before tonight and you will be good as new by tomorrow provided you sleep properly tonight," said Dr Carrington at Mal "I trust you will see to that and look after her King Ben?"
"Of course, I will." replied Ben "Now you come with me I am carrying you to our room and I am cancelling all of our appointments for today so I can make sure you do what Dr Carrington says," said Ben pointing to Mal
"Mal if you don't do what he says you have to find a new designer," said Evie while laughing.
"And you will have to find a new honorary brother," Jay said, bouncing off Evie
"And you will have to use your most powerful spell to get me off your back," said Hades
"Ok, ok, I will listen to Dr Carrington and do exactly as he says" chuckled Mal as she sat up.
"Come here," said Ben as he walked towards Mal brushing her lavender locks away from her pale face. And just like that, he picked her up with ease.
"You really don't have to carry me, Ben, I can walk to our room," said Mal in protest
"Oh no you don't, Dr Carrington said you need to be on bed rest for the rest of the day so I am carrying you all the way to our room" ordered Ben.
Ben carried Mal all the way into their room and laid her down on the bed and helped her remove her shoes, and jewellery and helped her undo her hair so she could rest comfortably and help her change out of her dress. Ben handed Mal Lunch in bed and 2 glasses and 20 minutes later she finished everything.
"How are you feeling?" asked Ben, looking concerned, lying down next to her.
"Much Better" replied a sleepy Mal
"Ok I think you should go to sleep we have a tiring day ahead of us tomorrow and you need to rest up in your current condition," said Ben
"I agree. I love you, Ben, Goodnight" said Mal as she drifted off to sleep
"I love you too" whispered Ben as he watched the violet locks fall perfectly on the side of her cheek while she slept. Soon Ben drifts off to sleep.
