Mal and Ben are woken up with the sun shining on their face and Mal has regained a pink tint in her face and looks much better but she still looks a bit weak.
"How are you feeling," asked Ben.
"Much Better still a bit drained though" responded Mal Honestly.
"I think you should take it easy today. I'll take you to Evie. We will get our outfits for the garden party and then all of us will head to the party and we will just take it easy and if you are up to it we will play a game of croquet. Ok?" asked Ben
"Sounds perfect," said Mal hugging Ben while still in bed.
Fast forward to the Garden party. Ben is not leaving Mal's side and goes with her everywhere even though she is feeling better but like any loving husband, he worries. He worries that she is still sick. He worries that her incident yesterday may be something bigger than dehydration and lack of food. But he keeps it to himself seeing how happy Mal is.
Mal is happily enjoying the festivities with Ben and is mingling with Belle and Beast. Mal, Ben, Uma, and Belle had started to play a friendly game of croquet. Mal got a bad feeling and that is where things started going south. The sky had turned dark and black, and green and purple smoke started to cover the ground.
"What is happening? Mal did you organize a show?" asked Ben
"No, I didn't" replied Mal
All of the inanimate statues such as; knight's armor, gargoyles, stone lions, and the King Beast statue. Came to life and started attacking, the royal tried their best to defend all of the citizens in the garden party.
"Guards take everyone inside! Mal you head inside as well" said Ben in a panic
Everyone rushed inside except Mal, Ben, Uma, Hades, Evie, Jay, and Doug.
"No, I'm not, it is my job to protect Auradon!" exclaimed Mal. and as soon as she said that Mal transformed into a dragon while Ben, Evie, and Doug were fighting off the guards and Uma and Hades were trying to cast a spell to disarm the statues but were unsuccessful. Mal realized that only a spell could fix her problem. She transformed back into a human on the edge of the balcony and cast a spell which caused the statues to drop, the skies to clear, and the smoke on the ground to clear up.
"Good job M," said Evie looking up at Mal
"Mal are you ok?" asked Uma
"Mal I think you should step off the edge of the balcony," said Jay
"Nice work sweetie," said Hades
Mal replied "Yea I'm fine. I'll get do-" and that is when Mal lost all consciousness and began free falling at 40 feet.
"MALLLLLLLL" screamed Ben as he was racing to catch Mal while Hades cast a spell with his Ember causing Mal to slow down. And Ben caught Mal. Ben, Evie, Hades, Jay, and Uma rushed Mal to the hospital. She wasn't waking up so the doctors ran many tests to figure out why she passed out and that is when they found out.
