Before we start. Just to let you know. The magic powers and elements in the Dragon Gem Shards aren't related. Remember Sisu got her glow from the Dragon Piece with the dragon energy in it, and she was partnered with Regidrago. So the elements in the Gem Shards have nothing to do with the dragon's partners. Now Chapter 8.

Chapter 8

Dragon Heart

Dragon Heart

Sisu was carrying Raya through a cloudy rainy sky, with the twins and Regidrago following. "Where are you taking me?" Raya asked Sisu. "Yeah, where are we going?" Allen asked Sisu, making Raya and Sisu notice Allen, Drake, and Regidrago catching up to them.

"What are you guys doing here?" Sisu asked Allen and Drake. "That's what we want to know. Now can someone tell me where you're leading us?" Drake asked Sisu and Regidrago. "We're almost there." Regidrago said to Drake.

That's when the sky cleared up, and they saw a ruined city, that must have been quite the sight back in the day. Behind it was a massive natural stone arch, with a castle on the upper middle part of the arch. "It can't be." Raya said.

"Raya what is this place?" Drake asked Raya. "This is Dragon Heart. This was my home." Raya said to Drake, as they flew over a side river with a long bridge over it. Raya stared at the bridge as they flew past it. "Raya what is it?" Allen asked Raya. "My Ba is down there." Raya said to Allen, making Drake and Allen feel sad.

Then Sisu led everyone to a ruined temple at the top of the stone arch. The temple had a hole in the ceiling and plant life had taken over taking it. "Sisu, why did you bring me here?" Raya asked Sisu, as Sisu let her go, and the twins stopped flying. "Yeah, what are we doing here?" Allen asked Sisu. "This is where it all happened." Sisu said to Raya, as she started to move, with Regidrago following her.

"Yeah, I know. I was there." Raya said to everyone. "So this is where the gem broke, and the Druun came back into the world." Allen said, looking around. "She's not talking about what happened 6 years ago." Regidrago said to everyone. "This is where it all happened 500 years ago." Sisu said to everyone, as she moved some vines, revealing a dragon statue and a statue of Registeel in a man made hole into the wall. Raya, Allen and Drake gasp softly as they walk to the statues.

"We want you to meet our brothers and sisters. The real mighty ones. I miss them." Sisu said to everyone. "I miss them too. Pango and Registeel were always the most caring and strongest of us." Regidrago said to Sisu. "I never knew they were here." Raya said to Sisu and Regidrago, before she and the twins bowed to the statues.

"See that classy-looking one, and that smooth piece of ice over there. That's Amba and Regice." Sisu said, as everyone turned to look at another dragon statue, with a Regice statue next to her. "And that's Pranee. She's a shapeshifter. And that's Regirock." Sisu said, as they noticed another dragon statue with a Regirock Statue next to it. "Jagon, fog. Regieleki, zappy zap." Sisu said, as they noticed the last dragon statue, and a statue of Regieleki next to him.

"And Pengu and Registeel. They're our big brothers. And was the leader of us Dragons and Pokemon. Pengu brings the rain, and Registeel's will was always inspiring." Sisu said to everyone. "Sisu what exactly happened here?" Allen asked Sisu. "We were the last dragons and Pokemon." Sisu said to Allen.

The Past

In the past, Sisu, Regidrago, Sisu brothers and sisters, and the Regis were standing on top of the stone arch, a small circle of water around them. And while Pango and Registeel were standing tall, the other dragons were scared, and the other Regis were panting from ecustion.

"All the other dragons and Pokemon had been turned to stone. We were drowning in a sea of Druun." Sisu said to everyone, as Pango looked around, and could see nothing but Druun as far as the eyes could see. "To make matters worse, me and the other Regis were running out of power, and only a small ring of water was between us and the Druun." Regidrago said to everyone, as the Druun tried to cross over the ring of water.

"But my oldest brother Pengu, and Registeel, refused to accept defeat." Sisu said, as Pengu put his hands in a hole full of water, and took some of the water out of the hole. "This is where we'd make our last stand… united." Sisu said, as Pengu concentrated his energy into the water forming a sphere.

"So, one by one, they combined all their magic." Sisu said, as the dragon pulled out energy from their bodies and made it flow into the energy Pengu was holding. "To help it make shape. My fellow Regis put fragments of their elements into the magic." Regidrago said to everyone.

"And thus the Dragon gem was made." Sisu said to everyone, as everyone but Sisu and Regidrago put their energy into it. "But before we could put our powers into it. They gave it to Sisu." Regidrago said to everyone, as Pangu held the Dragon Gem out for Sisu. "I don't know why they chose us. It could have been any of us." Sisu said to everyone, as her past self took the Dragon Gem.

"All I know is we trusted them… and they trusted us." Sisu said, as the other dragons and Regis were turned to stone by the Druun.

"And after giving us the gem, they stepped out of the water ring and the Druun got them. With just us left, we wasted no time. We put our energy into the Dragon Gem." Regidrago said, as he and Regidrago put their energy into the Dragon gem. "And so…" Sisu said, as she let out a massive pulse of energy.

Dragon Heart

Back in the present, everyone was staring at the statues, overwhelmed a little by the story. "When they put their faith in us, it empowered us beyond anything I could imagine." Sisu said to everyone. "It was a force beyond anything I thought could exist." Regidrago said to everyone. "The same can happen with Namaari." Sisu said to everyone, as they all looked at each other.

"I really wish I could believe that. I once thought that we could be friends." Raya said to Sisu. "After all this, maybe you can be." Sisu said to Raya. "But how can we trust someone who caused so much pain?" Allen asked Sisu. "He has a point. Even if she wanted to help us, how could I possibly trust her?" Raya asked Sisu.

"But if somehow you could, you wouldn't just bring your ba back. You'd also bring back his dream. Kumandra." Sisu said to Raya. This made Raya turn her head to a hole in the temple, and look at the bridge.

A few minutes later, they all were in front of a statue of a man. "So this is your ba?" Allen asked Raya. "Yes." Raya said to Allen, as she put water and a flower in her ba's hands. Raya then formed a circle with fer figures for a second, before staring at her ba's statue. "Do you think he would even recognize me? So much has changed" Raya asked everyone. "Of course he will." Sisu said to Raya. "It might be a shock at first. But I'm sure he'll know it's you." Allen said to Raya.

"You all remind me of him in some way." Raya said to everyone. "Oh, yeah? Strong? Good-looking with impeccable hair? Sisu asked Raya, shaking her head, and rubbing the twin's head. "Hopeful. Truthful. An Idealist." Raya said to everyone, looking at her ba, and placing her hands under his.

"How would I even approach Namaari after all that's happened?" Raya asked Sisu. "Yeah, things aren't that great between us?" Drake asked Sisu. "It may feel impossible, but sometimes, you just have to take the first step, even before you're ready. Trust me." Sisu said to everyone.

Raya then looked at her ba again. "Okay, We'll go with your plan." Raya said to Sisu, turning to her. "What? My plan? You're gonna go with my plan?" Sisu asked, getting excited. "Yeah." Raya said to Sisu. "All right! You're not gonna regret this. But we're gonna need a really good gift." Sisu said to Raya. "And we're going to need a better plan than us walking into Steel Fang and handing it to her." Drake said to everyone.

"But first let's get the gift. What do you think she's into? Cats? Knives? Cats with knives? Knives with little cats on them?" Sisu asked, making everyone laugh. "We might need something a bit more personal or special than cats and knives." Allen said to Sisu. "Actually, I know exactly what to give her." Raya said to everyone, before pulling out the dragon charm she had.

"Are you sure that will work as a gift?" Allen asked Raya. "It was hers. She gave it to me." Raya said to Allen. "Then it's personal and a little special." Allen said. "Sounds like a perfect gift." Drake said to everyone. "Only one way to find out." Raya said to everyone.
