Artemis can't believe her immortal luck, all it took to make her life go downhill so fast was a petty arguments with her brother Apollo; the snuck up and narcistic sun god—and BOOM! They were punish to live like mortals and attend a school like one as well.

She kept looking outside of her bedroom window on the second floor of their apartment building, while preparing herself for another day of school that her father have forced her into.

She was so not looking forward to this everyday, and going there with Apollo of all people—doesn't help making her mood better. In fact, it just keeps getting worst.

"Ugh... I should just get it over with, and I should go and see my brother." Artemis thought, sighing tiredly as she finally put on some fresh clothes for her class. "Knowing him, he's probably in his room." She sighed, imagining him being the first one to greet her. She didn't even need to knock before entering his room, since he was too busy working on whatever is he doing.

"Heya sis! You look perky today." He said nonchalantly, continuing to fix his looks while smiling in front of his mirror. He was wearing an orange turtleneck sweater, dark blue jeans, red converse, dark sunglasses and he also wore a yellow cap.

Anyone can tell the difference between them with Artemis having blue hair while her brother have light orange hair. Even if they're twins, they are vastly different.

"Save it Apollo, and... it's no wonder you're late." Artemis replied. It seemed that she wasn't really in the mood anymore since she couldn't muster up any energy to tease Apollo back.

Apollo, being the great sun god he is, looked offended by Artemis remark and frowned slightly.

"Come on, I'm the almighty Phoebus Apollo. I have to always look my best." Apollo said, trying to sound as serious as possible. But it's hard when your sister is giving you the stink eye right now.

"And risk getting us late? Forget it. I'll give you five minutes to have breakfast with me downstairs. And if you're late even the tiniest bit, I'm driving without you." Artemis said, crossing her arms while she gave him a glare.

Apollo let out a defeated sigh, knowing very well that he'd lose if they continue arguing like this, and decided to agree on having breakfast together.

"Fine." Apollo agreed.

Artemis rolled her eyes at that response, but still went downstairs and prepared them both breakfast. As usual Artemis sat down next to Apollo, while he sat opposite to her. Both siblings eat in silence, enjoying their food peacefully. Well, if one would call what they're eating quiet... but considering how fast gods usually eat, it's quite normal.

After finishing their breakfast, the twins immediately went outside to where their car is parked. They each got inside the car and drove towards the school. Their school isn't that big, it consists only of a few buildings, and it's located at a nice park, where children are playing and many families spend time together. After about twenty minutes of driving, they arrived at their destination and got off the car.

Artemis was the first to enter the building, while Apollo had to wait for a moment to follow her. School was the same as always and nothing has changed at all since Artemis has been attending high school.

What she hate about all of this was the fact that this was her and Apollo's punishment for a simple argument they had just a few month ago. All Apollo had to do was get on her final nerves which in turn cause her to accidentally throw an arrow at one of Hera's priceless statues. Her aim was off, and it hit the statue's face. So naturally, she and Apollo got punished.

She was the one who started it, but she can't bring herself to admit it, and neither could Apollo himself. It was too late to turn back now, all they can do is just survive high school until they graduate—and then they can return back home and be gods again.

"Okay, this is where we'll part. I have a lot of classes today, so I gotta go." Artemis said while turning to face Apollo.

Apollo just nodded and smiled at her, saying goodbye as she left. He felt guilty about causing her to get punished again, although she did deserve it. It was his fault anyways for starting their argument in the first place.

History class is just beyond boring, and she can't seem to concentrate at all. The teacher kept rambling on about the history of the ancient Greeks, which is something that Artemis already knew—considering she's a Greek goddess after all. This lesson will be the death of her—or so she thought. Before long, the bell rang signalling the end of class.

Artemis gathered up her things quickly while everyone else packed theirs away at a faster pace, leaving only a few students behind.

As soon as she reached her locker to grab her books, someone called her from behind. "Hai Emi, so nice to see you." A familiar voice greeted Artemis.

Turning around to face the person whom spoke, Artemis saw the one person that she doesn't want to cross with, ever. That over the top pink dress with floral pattern skirt, can only be one person she know.

"Aphrodite?! What the—what are you—" She stuttered, unable to find anything good to say. Aphrodite stood beside her with a big grin plastered on her pretty face.

"Oh come on dear, do you honestly think I'm going to let you and your brother have all the fun mingling with mortals?" Aphrodite teased.

Artemis tried to hide her irritation, but Aphrodite being the goddess of love. She was able to sense how much Artemis doesn't want her around. Which she seemed to enjoyed.

They never have a good relationship, being the goddess of virginity—Artemis always tries her best to avoid the goddess of love. It was hard especially since the goddess of love was one of her least favourite persons to deal with.

"This isn't some games Aph, and you know that." Artemis retorted, closing her locker and fixing her bag on her shoulder. "If dad finds out you're here, he's going to kill you." Artemis warned, pointing her index finger at her pink-haired Aunt.

"Okay okay, you have a point. But don't worry, Zeus is too busy to even care where I'm going. So I am free to do whatever I want." She explained calmly and cheerfully, waving her hand dismissively while Artemis continued glaring at her.

"I don't care... just... stay out of my business for Hades sake's." Artemis said as she walked away from Aphrodite, not wanting the goddess of love to say anything more.

So what if Aph is here, that's not going to change anything. Artemis can't help but think. "I will have enough troubles with Apollo in this school and I am not planning to make new ones just because of her." She thought angrily.

As Artemis continued walking away from the goddess, Aphrodite suddenly walk towards a nearby window that overlooks the school's archery range. She stared at it for a moment before smirking. "I wonder what will happen if Artemis finds out about this..." Aphrodite whispered, her hands gripping the railing tightly.

As for Apollo, he had just finish his art class, just one more class and school will be over. Just the thought of finally being able to flirt with so many people made his mood lift. He was walking through his locker searching for his book for his next class, when all of a sudden Apollo got a craving for some delicious Pizza Rolls.

Yeah, that was the best thing he ever had, ever. If there's something that Apollo loves most in life other than teasing his sister with no ends is definitely pizza. His favorite pizza.

"I can go to the canteen and get some, beside class isn't going to start soon. Which I can use to flirt with some girls from the cheerleading clubs." Apollo thought happily to himself.

While heading towards the canteen, Apollo unknowingly pass by Artemis's locker—which in turn got him bumping with Aphrodite at the exact same moment.

Apollo looked up to see Aphrodite standing at the same spot, looking at him with the biggest grin on her face.

"Apollo dear, just the god I've been waiting." Said Aphrodite in a sweet tone of voice, her eyes gleaming with amusement and mischief.

"A-Aph? What in Olympus are you doing here?" Apollo asked confused.

The goddess of beauty let out a small giggle. "Didn't you hear, I enroll here. Which mean we can go to school together, and if you're wondering if Zeus knows about this. He doesn't, you know how your father can be." Aphrodite explained, looking away innocently.

Apollo didn't buy it, sure when she says she enroll here was true—and the fact that she's even here only meant one thing: she's hiding something.

Still though, he'd rather not know exactly what kind of scheme Aphrodite has planned. Whatever she's planning, it always have something to do with love—more specifically relationship. Is she here to find another lover or make someone else's love life a wreck. Apollo knew, because he's been there before.
