Chapter 11
The Way Home
Ice Spine
The day after the Gem was restored everyone scattered to their homes, with Allen, Drake, Kali, Rayla, Callum, and Ezran splitting up and going with Boun, Noi, and Tong to their homes.
In Ice Spine, Tong, Callum, Rayla, Gliscor, and Yanmega were walking to the village, when they got close, they saw all the people waiting at the gate, including a mother and her little one. The little one giggled at the sight of Tong, which made the people turn to see him. They gasped to see him, before giving him a big smile.
This sight made Tong stop, his jaw wide open. "What are you waiting for man? Go on." Callum said to Tong, patting him on the back. Tong looked at Callum with a big smile, before running to his people.
Callum put an arm around Rayla, as she put a hand to his chest, and they all watched with smiles on their faces, as Tong finally was reunited back with his family.
Electric Talon
In Electric Talon, Allen, Kali, Serperior, and Lurantis, were walking through the port, with Noi in Kali's arms, and the ongis on Allen's back, with Allen's staff still looking like it's made out of crystal.
After walking for a bit, a woman noticed them and gasped, getting everyone's attention. The woman then walked to them. "Momma!" Noi said. "Noi! My baby!" The woman said, as she reached everyone, and Kali handed Noi to her. Noi and the Woman hugged and cried tears of joy a little. With Allen, Kali, Serperior, and Lurantis watching them with joyful eyes, and Allen and Kali holding hands.
Stone Tail
In Stone Tail, Boun was sailing his boat to the port everyone met him, with Ezran, Drake, Bait, Zym, Samurott, and Lycanroc, with Drake at the front of the boat, his staff still looking like it was made out of crystal. When they got closer to the dock, Drake noticed some people on the dock. "Hey Boun, I think you have some customers." Drake said to Boun, as he noticed a family at the dock, and they noticed him.
"Mom, look, it's Boun." A female child said, before they all exclaimed in excitement. "It's Boun!" A male child said, Boun started to row faster. But then Drake took Boun's stick. "I'll park this boat, you get ready to get off it." Drake said to Boun. Boun said nothing to Drake, he just smiled, as he got ready to do just that. This caused Drake to smile, as he rowed, getting the boat to the dock.
Dragon Heart
Meanwhile, Raya was riding Tuk Tuk back to her home land. And when she reached the bridge to her home land. She stopped. Why? Because the one person she wanted to see so badly was standing on the end of the bridge, looking at a rusty banter.
Raya got off Tuk Tuk, and walked to the man. "Ba?" Raya said, getting the man's attention. The man looked at Raya and after a few seconds, he knew who Raya was. "Dewdrop?" The man asked Raya, dropping the banter. The man then ran to Raya. "Ba!" Raya said, running to him, and crying a little.
Both Father and Daughter gave each other a hug that they thought they would never have again, and cried onto each other's shoulder. Raya's ba then kissed the side of Raya's head.
That's also when Raya's ba noticed Sisu and Regidrago looking at them, with Sisu standing tall and Regidrago flowing high. Raya then broke the hug and moved to her ba's left side. "Is that really them?" Raya's ba asked Raya. Raya nodded yes. Raya's ba then held his hands up, making a circle with his fingers.
They greeted him with a node. "Chief Benja, your daughter did you proud." Sisu said to Raya's ba. "Yes. She played a big role in saving everyone." Regidrago said to Benja. "Hope you don't mind, she brought some friends." Sisu said to Benja, as she got down, and moved to the side of the bridge, with Regidrago moving to the other side of the bridge.
That's when Benja notices all the people walking to him and Raya. the head of the group in order from left to right from where Raya and Benja as standing, was Drake and Samurott, Boun and his family, Ezran, Bait, Zym, and Lycanroc, Noi and her family, Kai, Rayla, Lurantis, and Gliscor, Tong and his family, Callum and Yanmega, Namaari and her mother Virana, and lastly, Allen and Serperior. Everyone then held their fingers in a circle for Benja.
Banja was surprised by all of this. "Ba?" Raya asked Benja, chuckling a little. "Welcome to Kumandra." Raya said to Benja, making Benja smile. Then everyone started to walk down the bridge, with Sisu and Regidrago laughing out of excitement. After most of the gang walked past Raya and Benja, Allen turned around to them, as he walked backwards.
"What are you two doing standing there? Come let's get this party started?!" Allen asked them. "You heard the man." Raya said to Benja, before they turned around and started to walk with everyone, with one of their arms wrapped around each other's back.
That's when it started to rain, and Sisu and Regidrago looked at each other. "Race you." Regidrago said to Sisu. "You're on." Sisu said to Regidrago, as they took to the sky. And in the sky, were their brothers and sisters, running around having a good time with all the other dragons and Pokemon.
The party lasted for a long time, with everyone trying everything, and getting to know everyone's family. There was music, Dancing, all kinds of food, and everyone having lots of fun. There were even some moments, where Sisu and Zym played a game of tag, knocking all the food onto everyone, but no one was mad at them, they found it funny.
Then Sisu and Boun put a lot of spike on one of the food, and once Sisu tried it, she started to breathe fire and dunked her head into a bird bath to try and cool her tongue down. That's when Zym brought her a cool drink to help her. After a while, with Drake and Allen teaching Raya and Namaari about all they know about Pokemon.
All the while Callum was drawing pictures of this with a big smile on his face.
After a long while, a black energy orb appeared out of nowhere, and was floating above the table the gang was eating at. Then the black energy orb started to move and left the room. Curiosity got everyone, and they went after it.
They ran outside, and followed the black energy orb leading them to the bridge. That's when they noticed the black energy orb stopping over the water. Then the black energy orb burst open making a portal, with half of the portal in the water.
"Well I guess this is it. Time we go home." Allen said to everyone. "Are you sure you want to leave?" Raya asked everyone. "As much as we would like to stay and explore this place some more. We have many things to do back home." Ezran said to everyone.
"Well, then I guess this is goodbye." Raya said to everyone. "Let's not say goodbye. How about seeing you later." Drake said to everyone. "Yeah. See you all later." Raya said to everyone. Everyone then hugged each other goodbye.
"Here Zym, I have a gift for you. So you will always remember us, and when you get all big and strong, we can recognize you." Sisu said to Zym, as she attached two metal rings to two of Zym's horns, each with a cham attached to it. One charm looked like a Kumandra water dragon wrapped around Regieleki, and the other charm looked like a Kumandra water dragon formed a circle around Regidrago.
"Rayla told me that your horns will get much, much bigger, so I made it so the rings are changeable when they get too small. And I choose to give you a charm with Regieleki and Regidrago on it, because I know you're going to be a mighty storm dragon, and I want you to be as mighty as Regidrago and your zap to be as shocking as Regieleki." Sisu said to Zym.
Zym chirped and flew into Sisu's chest, giving her the biggest hug he could. "I'll miss you too. Now you go home. And don't give that mother of yours too much trouble. I know you're quite the handful." Sisu said to Zym, with a playful tune in her voice, making both her and Zym laugh a little.
After that everyone was done saying goodbye, and Allen, Drake, Kali, Rayla, Callum, Ezran, Bait, Zym, Serperior, Samurott, Lurantis Gliscor, Yanmega, and Lycanroc, stood in front of the portal, and waved goodbye to everyone, before walking threw it.
After they walked through it, the portal closed. "Do you think we'll ever see them again?" Raya asked everyone. "That is something no one can say." Regidrago said to Raya. "But I know we'll see each other again. It's just a question of when. Not if." Sisu said to everyone.
A Twisted Realm
In the Twisted Realm, Allen, Drake, Kali, Rayla, Callum, Ezran, Bait, Zym, Serperior, Samurott, Lurantis Gliscor, Yanmega, and Lycanroc, walked threw the portal, only to find themselves a couple feet in the air over a pond. They all let out a yell, as they fell into the pond.
A few seconds later they popped out of the water and were holding onto the outer stone ring of the pond. "You know even after all this. I still don't like water." Rayla said to everyone. "Oh well then I'll have to try something else to help you with that." A voice said to Rayla.
That's when the gang noticed the cloaked figure, Eshu, and Aguya standing a few feet in front of them. "You three!" They all said to the cloaked figure, Eshu, and Aguya. "Glad to see you all made it through Kumandra in one piece." the cloaked figure said to everyone.
"One piece? We got turned to stone!" Kali said to the cloak figure, as they got out of the pond. "And yet you all seem pretty fleshy to me. So, everything worked out." The cloaked figure said to everyone. And even though they couldn't see his face, they knew he was smirking.
"You know what. I've had it with you. Raya and the others may have been great. But we didn't like you forcing us, kidnapping Zym, and…" Allen said to the cloak figure, walking to him, but stopped talking, when the cloak figure held up his left hand, making black energy fly out of all of them, knocking them all out and making them glow black.
This is when everyone dropped to the ground, back in their normal clothes, and a ball of black energy in the cloak figures hand. That's also when Kyurem walked up. "Was that necessary?" Kyurem asked the cloak figure. "Honestly. Not really. But while they won't be forgotten on Kumandra, it's best for them to think everything that happened was just a dream." The cloak figure said, crushing the energy ball.
But instead of ball dissolving into nothing, it turned into a painting of Allen, Drake, Kali, Rayla, Callum, Ezran, Bait, Zym, Raya, Boun, Noi, Tong, Namaari, Sisu, Regidrago, Serperior, Samurott, Lurantis Gliscor, Yanmega, and Lycanroc, standing together like this was a group photo. With the painting floating in the air.
"But me removing this, doesn't mean they won't get their memories back, they just need the right stimulus." The cloak figure said to Kyurem, as he opened Callum's book, and made it float in the air. Then he made a box that looked like it had a Kumandra water dragon wrapped around it, appear next to him floating in the air.
"After all, the bonds of friendship aren't something that can easily break, especially with complete trust in one another in it." The cloak figure said to Kyurem, as he held out his hand, and made the pages with drawings of the adventure on Kumandra fly out of the book, leaving no trace of it being ripped out. The cloak figure put the papers into the box.
"And the inspiration of these we look up to, are also something, we can never truly forget." the cloak figure said, before taking Zym's charms, and tossing it into the book, before closing the box.
Then the cloak figure snapped his fingers. That's when a few Roaming Gimmighouls showed up. The cloak figure gave the painting and the box to the Gimmighouls, and the Gimmighouls took the painting and the box away.
"But for now, it's best if they don't. After all, at the moment, they don't have any way to get back to Kumandra without a massive disruption of space, nor do they have the ability to mess with space energy, and even then, they'll be lucky if they landed in Kumandra. So best let them live like nothing ever happened." The cloak figure said, as he watched the Gimmighouls leave.
"And how is that best?" Kyurem asked the cloak figure. "Simple. I don't want them to become obsessed with trying to find a way to Kumandra and cause a lot of unknown consequences as a result, when they should focus on their duties in working to have the first chance for real peace in their world. You forget, I know how destructive obsession can be. Remember one of my good friends was obsessed with fighting, and it destroyed him." The cloak figure said to Kyurem. "Fair point. But isn't it a little cruel to force them to forget." Kyurem said to the cloak figure.
"It might be cruel. But hello Daemon king, it's in the job description. Besides I think tempera memory loss is a fair price for their new power." The cloak figure said to Kyurem, before they all looked at the crystals covered staffs.
"And what power is that? After all, they're powers are from Reshiram and Zekrom, and they unlock my powers, so what powers could they gain?" Kyurem asked the cloak figure. "One that could only have come from this little adventure." The cloak figure said to Kyurem. "You know that this would happen. Didn't you?" Kyurem asked the cloak figure.
"Kind of. I knew that Kumandra didn't really need them. But because they were there, they made things easier, and made that Gem finally strong enough to work properly. And as a bonus. They got some kind of new power. They just need a jump start to get it working." The cloak figure said to Kyurem, as he let out black smoke from his left hand, covering the staffs and making the crystal shine disappear.
"And how do you plan to do that?" Kyurem asked the cloak figure. "Simple. Eshu, Aguya, let's send them home." the cloak figure said to everyone. "Right." Eshu and Aguya said, as two portals opened up. The cloak figure put Zym in one of them, and Eshu and Aquya tossed everyone else into the other portal.
A few seconds later, it was just the cloak figure, Eshu, Aguya, and Kyurem. "There everyone is back where they belong, and I planned something special for them. It should trigger their new power. And hopefully it's something great. And that something is something that Aaravos has a hard time dealing with, should he get out of his cell and somehow survive the group of daemons I have guarding him." The cloak figure said to everyone.
"So that was the true reason you did this. So they have a new trick?" Kyurem asked the cloak figure, making the cloak figure laugh. "No. I did this for a nice pond. Do you know how hard it is to find a body of water that I don't pollute with my nasty energy? Kumandra Dragon Energy waters is one the most rich waters in the cosmos, perfect for relaxing." The cloak figure said to Kyurem.
Kyurem gave the cloak figure a mean look. "I hate you." Kyurem said to the cloak figure. "I know. But it doesn't change the fact that I got a new pond, and that your champions saved Kumandra. In other words, I won. So you can leave." The cloak figure said to Kyurem. "Fine, but first." Kyurem said to the cloak figure before freezing the cloak figures' new pond, and disappearing in a blizzard.
"OH COME ON I JUST GOT THAT!" The cloak figure said, placing his hand into his face. "Could this day get any worse?" The cloak figure asked. That's when a large shockwave of energy blasted through the realm, shaking things up. "What was that?" Aguya asked. "A dimensional shock wave. But what could have caused it?" Eshu asked. "Let's find out." The cloak figure said, before he, Eshu, and Aguya disappeared.
The Castle In Katolis
Everyone was back in the Castle, in the twins room, and started to wake up, laying in odd ways, almost like someone threw them into the room. "Ugh. What happened?" Callum asked everyone, as they stood up. "I don't remember. We drank that drink from Lujanne, and then I had these weird dream of us saving a world from black smoke." Rayla said to everyone.
"So did I." Ezran said to everyone. "Me as well." Callum said to everyone. "Strange, I had a similar dream." Kali said to everyone. "That's odd. How could we have the same dream?" Allen asked everyone, before he noticed the letter, and it had glowing letters in Drake's shadow.
"What's that?" Allen asked, as they noticed the letter. Drake picked it up and read it while his shadow covered it. "Warning. Drinking it as a group will cause a group dream that messes with your senses. Enjoy." Drake said, reading the latter. That's when everyone looked at each other with flat looks.
That when they tossed the bottle out the window and heard it smash as it hit the ground. "Why do we trust Lujanne with any kind of food or drink?" Drake asked everyone, as he ripped up the letter. But once Drake said trust, everyone froze. "Trust. Why does that world sound so important now?" Kali asked everyone.
As they thought of it, Soren walked into the room. "There you are. Where have you been? We've been looking for you all for a few hours." Soren said to everyone. "Hours? I feel like we've been running around, fighting, and partying for a week." Callum said to everyone, as they stretched.
"You all are acting weird. But in any case. It's time for Kali, Allen, and their Pokemon to go." Soren said to them. "Oh, yes. One second." Allen said, as they gathered the last of his stuff, and moved outside.
Once they were outside, they met with Opeli, Chimecho, and Rhyhorn outside, with Bouffalant and Rapidash attached to a cart, and Sandile and Darumaka playing around Bouffalant and Rapidash. Everyone then loaded the last of Allen's stuff into the cart.
"Well I guess this is it everyone. Time I say goodbye." Allen said to everyone. "Let's not say goodbye. How about seeing you later." Drake said to Allen, making everyone freeze, and Opeli noticed this. "Are you alright?" Opeli asked everyone. "Yeah… yeah, just an odd feeling." Drake said to Opeli, as they shook their heads.
Then it started to rain as the sun was out. And while Soren, Opeli, Rhyhorn, Chimecho, Sandile, and Darimaka took cover, Allen, Drake, Kali, Rayla, Callum, Ezran, Bait, Serperior, Samurott, Lurantis Gliscor, Yanmega, and Lycanroc, just stood in the rain and felt amazing. That's when the rain started to make sounds that sounded like it was playing music.
"We have a choice to build or destroy, to fight or to come together." Allen, Drake, Kali, Rayla, Callum, and Ezran sang, as they had a group hug.
"Love is a bridge and trust is a gift, we give it and it gets better." The gang sang, before running out of the castle, with the Pokemon following them, as Bouffalant and Rapidash pulled the cart.
"Are they singing?" Soren asked Opeli, both wondering what they saw, and before they went after everyone, with Rhyhorn and Chimecho following them.
The gang then moved into the city. "There's an energy in the water." The gang sang, as they started to dance in the rain, getting the attention of the people in the city.
"There is magic deep in our heart." The gang sang, as Kali and Allen, Rayla and Callum held each other close, getting a few looks from the people, with most being of confusion, and a few disgust. But like they care what people think when they look at them, they were happy together.
"There's a legacy that we honor when we bring the light to the dark." The gang sang, as Kali and Allen, Rayla and Callum started to ballroom dance a little, with Drake, Ezran, and the Pokemon free dance, with the kids looking at them with wide eyes.
"Whatever brings us together can never tear us apart." The gang sang, as many kids and their Pokemon joined in the dancing, with their partners and their Pokemon watched this with smiles before joining in on the dancing.
"We become stronger than ever." The gang sang, as everyone raised their hands.
"When we just trust. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way. When we just trust. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way." The Gang sang, as they led a few people through the city.
That's when Kali noticed a little girl with a scraped knee and a worried Bounsweet looking at the little girl. "When you're broken, open up your heart and feel. There's no difference. We're all family here." Kali sang, as she used her magic to heal the little girl, with a big smile on Kali's face, surprising the girl and the Bounsweet.
"Despite all of our doubts. All our up and downs. There is never really anything to fear." Kali sang, as she helped the girl up, and started to dance with her, making the girl smile with joy, and the Bounsweet jump in joy around them.
"There's an energy in the water." The gang sang, as everyone splashed each other with some coming from puddles of water, and with some water they gathered from holding out their hands in the rain.
"There is magic deep in our heart." The gang sang, as everyone gave their Pokmeon a big hug, with big smiles on their faces.
"There's a legacy that we honor when we bring the light to the dark." The gang sang, as more people and Pokemon joined them.
"Whatever brings us together can never tear us apart." The gang sang, as everyone held hands with each other and their Pokemon.
"We become stronger than ever." The gang sang, as the Pokemon let out attacks, like it was a performance, making everyone happy, and making their partners feel stronger.
"When we just trust. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way. When we just trust. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way." The gang sang, leading everyone to an open plaza of the city.
"Hmm-Hmm, Hmm-Hmm, Hmm. Oh, Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh, Oh, Oh-Oh." Everyone sang, with the Pokemon joining in.
"Takin' the first step. I see you as myself. Nothing we can do." Drake and Allen sang, as they stood in front of everyone, like they were giving a speech.
"Put the past behind. Learn from life this time." Drake and Allen sang, as they pulled Rayla, Kali, Callum, Ezran, and the Pokemon to them.
"We can start brand new." Allen and Drake sang, as they raised their staffs into the air. And that when their staffs once again looked like they were made out of crystals, and a massive pulse of energy came out of their staff.
"There's an energy in the water." The gang sang, as the small hand size crystal balls appeared in everyone's hands.
"There is magic deep in our heart." The gang sang, as the crystal balls glowed, and all the Pokemon were encased in crystals.
"There's a legacy that we honor when we bring the light to the dark." The gang sang, as the crystals shattered and turned into sparkles. Revealing the Pokemon looking like they were living transparent crystals with 18 different hats and color crystal coats on them.
With Serperior and Samurott, they're crystal coats were purple, and they both had hats that looked like crowns, with a purple dragon head and two wings coming out of the crowns, with the inside of the wings being red.
With Rapidash her crystal coat was red, and her hat looked like a red five candle candle holder, with large flame-like crystals, and the base of the hat looked like a flame.
With Bouffalant and Lycanroc they're crystal coats were white, and their hate was a massive clear crystal, with some yellow crystals that held it in place and around the base of the hat were three smaller clear crystals, with yellow at the base attaching them to the base.
With Lurantis her crystal coat was green, and her hat was a bouquet of flowers, with a few red and blue flowers, with the flower in the middle being a big sunflower.
With Sandile his crystal coat was light brown, and his hat looked like he had half of a world on his head.
With Darumaka his crystal coat was dark pink, with his hat being a floating pink eye ball, with the purple crystal outline of an eye around it with spikes on the top of it making it look like it had eyelashes, and the base of the hat being two rings.
With Gliscor her crystal coat was black, with her hat having a stained glass spikey ghost, with a wicked face, a four point yellow star in the left corner of its wicked face, and the base of the hat had spikes sticking out of it.
And with Yanmega his crystal coat was sky blue, and his hat had four crystal balloons attached to it, with two of them being green, and the other two being red.
"Whatever brings us together can never tear us apart." The Gang said, as everyone, even them, were in awe at the sight of the Pokemon's new looks.
"We become stronger than ever." The gang sang, as all the Pokemon let out an attack, and not only did the attacks feel stronger, but some of them also let out sparkles as they fired certain attacks.
"When we just trust. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way. When we just trust. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way. Trust and believe it you'll see that. We'll lead the way." The gang sang, as they led everyone to the gate of the city, with the city now lit up by all the pokemon covered in crystals, and it made the rain all sparkly as well.
"Hmm-Hmm, Hmm-Hmm, Hmm." The people sang, as Allen and Kali hugged everyone goodbye, before getting in the cart with their Pokemon.
"Kumandra, Kumandra Kumandra, Kumandra Kumandra, Kumandra Kumandra, Kumandra." The gang sang, as Allen and Kali left Katolis for Xadia,
"Oh-Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh Oh-Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh, Oh-Oh." Everyone sang, as the energy pulse traveled across the world, giving creatures with a Pokemon partner the small crystal orbs, and making the Pokemon shine like crystals like the ones in the capital.
A Nearby Mountain
On a nearby mountain, Kyurem saw the Pokemon shine like crystals. "So this was what you were truly after. You knew the Dragon Gem would charge the staff, and when they came home, they would give the world the Terastal power. Smart, but they don't know about the power of Terastal, so they have to figure out how to use it before it can be useful." Kyurem said, thinking of the cloak figure.
Katolis
Back in Katolis, Rayla, Ezran, Callum, Drake, and their Pokemon were looking in the direction Kali, Allen, and their Pokemon left. That's when Soren, Opeli, Rhyhorn, and Chimecho showed up, with the crystal orbs in their hands, and Rhyhorn and Chimecho shining like crystals.
Rhyhorn's crystal coat and hat was the same as Sandile's crystal coat and hat.
And Chimecho's crystal coat was pink, with her hat looking like a big pink heart, with some clear crystal wings attached to the top of the heart, and a pink ribbon connecting the hat to Chimecho.
"Okay. What's up with all of you? You sang, the Pokemon look like diamonds with hats on their heads. And what a Kumandra?" Soren asked Rayla, Ezran, Callum, and Drake. And they didn't know how to answer his questions.
"To be honest. We don't know. But I can feel that the Pokemon aren't in any danger. In fact I think this crystal thing made them stronger. As for Kumandra. I don't know. But it feels like a pleasant word." Drake said to Soren, placing a hand on his heart, making Soren and Opeli look at each in confusion.
Dragon Heart
Back on Kumandra, in Dragon Heart, Raya, Boun, Noi, Tong, Namaari, Sisu, and Regidrago, where finishing painting a wall. The painting was of all them, in their big group hug after stopping the Druun. Everyone looked at the painting with smiles on their faces, as Raya wrote something "Truth, Ideals, Trust, Friendship". And with that the painting was done.
And while Allen, Drake, Kali, Rayla, Callum, Ezran, Bait, Zym, Serperior, Samurott, Lurantis Gliscor, Yanmega, and Lycanroc may only believe it was a dream for now. The memories Raya, Boun, Noi, Tong, Namaari, Sisu, and Regidrago made with them, would be ones that they would always carry in their heart until the end of their days.
