It was a rather normal day in the city of Milwaukee Wisconsin despite the sky being dark gray a well known an ominous warning that a storm was coming but luckily everyone was safe inside the their homes or other buildings, this fact was true for a certain young woman, a 16 year old Caucasian girl who had blonde hair and emerald green eyes, she was wearing a black hoodie and jeans and sneakers, her name is Daisy Madison.

Daisy sat on the brown leather couch of the therapist office she was in, and sitting on a same brown leather chair wearing a suit and tie was a Caucasian man in his early 50s and balding and he had a scruffy white beard and had on glasses, his name is Ramsey Strucker. It was quiet between Daisy and Ramsey the only sound heard in that room was the sound of the air conditioner on the ceiling, it was then that after a few more seconds of silence and looking down at the floor Daisy finally looked up at Ramsey her youthful green eyes meeting his elderly brown eyes.

"Do you know what Thalassophobia means?"Daisy asked softly Ramsay nodded "Of course, it is the persistent and intense fear of deep bodies of water such as the sea, oceans,or lakes, are you saying that you have Thalassophobia, does the open sea frighten you?"Ramsey asked with curiosity and fatherly compassion in his voice.

Daisy made a kind of gesture "It's more like the lake." Ramsay nodded as she shifted in his seat a little "Ok what is it about lakes that frighten you?" he asked Daisy sighed.

"It's not the water itself that frightens me, it's what's in it, and I'm not talking about pollution or anything like that I'm talking about the creatures that dwell in our oceans and lakes." Ramsey nodded his head as daisy continued "It's quite funny that we know way more about outer space than the oceans in our backyard, you know we still are finding new animals some that were originally labeled extinct alive and well, it's completely breathtaking."Daisy said with a little chuckle.

Ramsey nodded as he decided to add something "and we know that some parts of the ocean are completely explored so i wouldn't be surprised if we find a monster or two down there."Ramsey said with a joking smile then it turned curious again "is that what you're really afraid of that you think our oceans and lakes might hide monsters?"

Daisy gave Ramsey a very serious look "I don't think, I know, because I saw one myself in...lake Michigan."

Ramsay gave a curious face when she said that "do tell?" Daisy sighed looking at the ground again before she started speaking.

"It was just last week School had just let out and I was really happy to just be able to just not worry about tests and boring algebra and history, and just lay around and do absolutely nothing for the summer, but then that plan came crashing down when my dad came to me with this idea to go on a boat on lake Michigan I didn't want to but my dad was insistent that I go as it would get me out of the house,so I decided to go a mistake i'm going to regret for the rest of my life, we went on a sail boat the sun was beaming down on us and the breeze rushed through our hairs, maybe I would actually be happy I went on the board if it wasn't so damn boring and the waves wasn't making me sick, we've spent 2 hours on that lake, 2 hours I couldn't get back I told my dad I wanted to go home and he was about to go back to shore until...Bang."Daisy said as she made a cap sound with her hands to show her point.

"Something hit our boat,we didn't know what it was at first but what we did know that it had to be massive to nearly knock our boat out of the water, I ran over to the side to see if I could see what hit us but all I saw was water but..."Daisy paused for a moment making Ramsay lean forward a little "But what?"He asked completely interested to know the rest of the story.

"I wasn't sure at first but I could swear that just for a split second I...i saw a dark shadow moving beneath our boat,then it happened again, there was another massive bang,and this one threw me off the boat and into the water,luckily I could swim, I saw my dad still on the boat yell for me and he tossed the life perseverer and I started to swim towards the boat but then I felt something brush past my leg and that was when I saw it."

Ramsay raised an eyebrow curiously "Saw what, a monster?" Daisy took a deep breath and spoke "I heard the water splashing behind me and I turned around and I saw something sticking out of the water about 5 feet from me before it disappeared, the texture of it looked slim and smooth and it had like uh...dark blueish color to it, I heard my father yelling my name but I didn't pay attention to him because I'm watching this...thing slowly circle me like a shark and it was near the surface so I could see parts of it I saw the flippers and a really long neck, it must've been about 26 feet long I'm not sure what kind of Dinosaur I was seeing I'm no Alan Grant."

"Marine Reptile."Ramsay said making Daisy look at him funny "What you're describing to me is a Marine Reptile, most likely a Plesiosaur or Elasmosaurus."

"Good to know, anyway this thing circled me about 3 times until it rose it's head partly out of the water and it stared at me while making this low growling sounds,i wanted to movie but i couldn't because i was afraid if i moved it'll get me,it kepted it's eyes on me for a good minute before it disappeared beneath the water, and i quickly swam back onto the boat and me and my day returned to shore and we just went home."Daisy said partly finishing her story.

Ramsay nodded his head greatly intrigued and somewhat frightened by her encounter "What happened next?" "We told my mom what happened but she didn't believe us she thought that we were trying to scare her,and then there were the nightmares, I couldn't sleep everytime I closed my eyes all I saw was it's face...and..eyes...and teeth."Daisy shuttered about to have a panic attack.

"Would you like to stop?"Ramsay asked noticing the stress in her eyes Daisy shook her head no as she continued speaking "No I'm okay, it's just i can't believe this happened to me it was like something out of a horror movie,

"It's all right Daisy, that thing can't hurt you on land, as long as you stay away from lake Michigan it won't try to hurt you."Ramsay said in a reassuring way which somewhat helped however there was something that was bothering her about the whole situation.

"You know what confuses me about this,i searched up lake monsters and Michigan but i didn't get anything all i got were Nessie,Champ,Memphre and Morag, there was no sighting of a creature living in Lake Michigan it's like this thing just showed up out of nowhere."Daisy said with disbelief Ramsay put on a thinking face as he tried coming up with possible theories of his own "Maybe this creature has avoided the eyes of people for so long and you were the lucky one to actually see it."Ramsay said.

Daisy noted that was a possibility but there was something else that bothered her "Where did that thing come from, how did it get into lake Michigan those are the questions I've been wondering too and you know what I think,I think that thing was released into the lake."

Ramsay gave daisy a curious and bewildered expression "And who do you think would want to release a prehistoric invasive species into a lake?"He asked Daisy thought about it for a second and came up with this answer "Ingen."she said crossing her arms Ramsay raised an eyebrow in disbelief that Ingen would do something so irresponsible and reckless like release a marine Reptile into Lake Michigan especially since after the San Diego Incident everyone including Ingen knows what a Dinosaur could do if it's unleashed with no fences blocking it.

"And why do you think Ingen would do that, especially after the chaos in San Diego many years ago?"Ramsay asked "I don't know maybe someone an ex employee or something has a agenda, all I know is that, that thing is in our lake right now and I think it's only a matter of time before more people see it for themselves and who knows what will happen after that."Daisy said looking out the window into the pouring rain.

Meanwhile

Out in the slightly calm waters of the great lake Michigan slowly cruising through the water with it's head and neck rising out of the water was an adult male Hydrotherosaurus, it looked around at the empty surface of the lake as rain drops decorated the environment, the creature let out a snort before diving down into the lake as lightning flashed across the sky.
