Glitter

Summary: Mirio thought doing an art and crafts project with Eri was a great idea. In his defense, it was a great idea. Also in his defense, Eri did have fun. But he forgot about the glitter. There was a lot of glitter involved.

Green Bean: I have training this afternoon. Sorry.
Green Bean: I will try to stop by later to see the finished product.
Green Bean: If I can't stop by, I want pictures.
Mirio chuckled softly at Hado changing Midoriya 's name in his texts to Green Bean. He texted back.
Mirio: Of course.
He put down his phone to see Eri look anxious at the supplies on the table.
"Ready, Eri?" He said happily.
She nodded nervously.
"Today, we are making slime!"
"Slime?"
"Yup!"
Eri might have looked at him like he was crazy.
"Like the monster?"
"No…No…Wait, a monster?"
He was a little curious about that one since it was kind of random even for Eri.
Eri's little face brightened slightly.
"Yup! Deku fought a slime monster!"
Wait…what? When? What? How? How in the hell did he miss this? He definitely has questions for Midoriya.
"So, we aren't facing any slime monsters today."
"Okay. That is good. Sound icky," She said as she nodded her head.
"It does but this slime is fun! Ready?" He said excitedly. Eri nodded her head eagerly.
He set the bowl, a cup of glue, and a smaller cup of baking soda in front of her.
"First off, you pour glue into the bowl then you add the smaller cup of baking soda. Then you mix up with this!" He said as he held out a popsicle stick to Eri.
She eyed him then the stick.
She nodded her head with all of the seriousness of a final exam.
He watched as she poured glue into the bowl then the baking soda. He offered her the popsicle stick and she stirred the mixture up.
"What color would you like to make your slime?" He asked.
She stared at the slime.
"Pink."
He picked up a bottle of pink paint and poured it into her little bowl.
"Stir away!"
He watched as she stirred in the paint.
"Do it until it's nice and thick…like the silly putty that I brought last time."
"Is it done?" He asked.
Eri nodded.
"Time for the glitter!"
He picked up a cup of glitter on the table and poured it into her slime.
"Mix away for 10 seconds."
Eri nodded as she counted to herself and stirred the glitter into her slime.
"Okay, it looks ready! So you can play with it!" He said.
"Play with it?" Eri said as she looked at him then cup. He nodded his head eagerly as he poke his finger into the slime then stepped away.
"See?"
She nodded as she poked slime. She giggled.
"It's cold."
"It warms up as you play with it. You can take it out of the cup and play with it! Just keep it on the table, okay?"
She nodded seriously before she took the slime out of the cup. She let an adorable giggle as she rolled the slime between her fingers.
He grinned.
Score!
He stepped back, took his phone out, and started recording.
After a minute or so of Eri playing with slime, he sent it to Eri Protection Squad.
Few seconds later…
High as A Kite: OMG….so cute.
Standing In The Corner: Very.
Green Bean: She looks like she is having fun.
Green Bean: IS that glitter?
Mido: Yup!
-Green Bean is typing….-
Green Bean: You know that it takes an act of All Might to get glitter out of anything, right?
Standing In The Corner: He's right.
High as A Kite: OMG…Good luck with that!
Mirio: It's on the table. It can't be that bad!
Green Bean: I will be there soon.
(Yes, it was that bad…who knew that glitter could stick to the table like that?! Or in Eri's hair? Or on the carpet?
He also learned from Sensei's capture weapon could hang him upside down!)
At least, Eri had fun!
