"Today is a great day for a gladiator match." Nuka said. "It should be me up there, but no, my little adoptive brother had to be Kion pick." Nuka said, now trying to scratch off termites. "Well guess what Kion said Kovu is a gladiator so shut up.", Vitani said. She gets some dirt out of the hair over her forehead. "Well, looks like it's about to begin." She said before walking out of their family's cave. Since the roar Kion used was more powerful than he thought, it made Pride Rock much bigger.
The pride landers that heard of it came to see it, they were shocked at how big Kions army was. "Savagies, making animals fight each other for entertainment. How could Kion stand for this?" Nala said to Simba as they watched the animals in a giant crowned with a gape in the middle. "I don't know Nala." Simba said as he looked with sadness.
Kion was making sure that everything was going okay when Nuka said,"Hey Kion." "What do you want, Nuka." Kion said. "I was wondering if I could compete in this gladiator torment." Nuka said. He was answered with laughter. "Wait, you're serious?" Kion asked. "Yes, please I'll show you guys that I'm truly a warrior." Nuka said. "Fine." Kion said, knowing it was the only way he would leave him alone. "Yes, I know I won't let you down." Nuka said.
"Well sorry I'm not leaping with joy. Bad back I guess." Kion said. "Seriously, that's the best lie you could come up with." Said a tiger. "Name one time to prove me wrong." Kion said. The tiger said,"When you told us to be prepared, when you're fighting, the tree of life, the cave of wonders, and when we were fighting those humans." "Tocha," Kion said.
Outside Pride Rock a massive crowed was formed. There was a gape in there though, for the gladiators. There was a jackal, two leopard, a hyenas, a male and female lion, Kovu, and Nuka. Kion now standing on the tip on pride rock.
(A/N: He's standing where Rafiki hold up Simba at the beginning of the first movie.)
"Animals, big and small, predator and prey. I give you a gladiator match." Kion said. His army cheered. Kion roared letting them know it has begun. The gladiators begin to fight. Kovu was the best gladiator there is, and he always wins. Nuka just took out a leopard when he saw Kovu fighting off the two lions, and the hyena. Nuka decide that now was the time to get pay back. Nuka attack and Kovu was taken off guard.
"Come on Kovu." Bunga said. "Why are you routing for him?" Ono asked. "I always rout for the underdogs." Bunga said. Kiara was hoping that Kovu was going to be okay. She one of the lions prepare to ponce behind Kovu. "Behind you." Kovu then look behind him and duck. Kiara was shock that she warned him, she could figure out why. Simba had a raised eyebrow looking at Kiara, he then look back at the fight.
Nuka was able to bite at Kovu's leg. This caused him to lose balance. It was just Nuka, Kovu and the leopard now. The leopard attack Kovu. Kovu fell, his body was covered with marks and scars. "Kovu is down." Kion yelled. The army began to say, "Finish him, finish him." Kirara tried to get involved but was stop by a rhino standing in front of her. The leopard had a a evil look on his face.
Nuka was happy at first but then something happened, he started to worry. He then remember the times Kovu saved Nuka, even though he hated him. He then remembered his mother telling him to look after Kovu before she died. Nuka just couldn't let this happen. The leopard had his claws up. Kovu knew this was the end. Then before the leopard can finish him, Nuka attack and said, "NO!"
Kovu look and was just as shock as everyone else. Nuka was saving Kovu. "You stay away from my brother." Nuka said. "Why do you care? You hate him." his opponent said. Nuka slashed his face. Then after awhile the leopard was defeated. Nuka came to check on his brother. "You good." He said helping Kovu up. "Yeah. Why did you help my?" Asked Kovu. "Instinct I guess." Nuka said. They chuckle before Kion yelled, "NUKA!"
Everyone look and even if they were the farthest they could see the fury in his eyes. "You know the rules, never save the enemy." Kion said. Nuka was pushed forwarded by a Rhino. "You have been a pain in my behind for a very long time. NowI believe it's time to, die." Kion said as lighting came from the sky. "Please don't." Kovu couldn't finished because Nuka said. "It's okay. I'm sorry, for everything." Vitani came up with worried in her eyes. "Since Kovu is your brother, I'll give you a minutes head start." Nuka look at his siblings and nodded good bye before running. Nuka ran even faster when he heard laughter from a distance. "I see him." Banzi said. Kovu and Vitani look away when they heard Nukas scream.
Well that was dark. I know most of you are going to say that Nuka saving Kovu is a bit far, but the love for a brother can remove all hate. Plus sorry for all of you Nuka fans, he had to go. I fell like this will make Kovu's loyalty to Kion even harder. Also I needed Kion to still have a evil vibe.
