The Wolf, The Tiger, and The Monkey

Monkey and Tripitaka and the feud of the clan of Wolves and Tigers

Enjoy,

"THIS BLOWS!" a teenage boy with short raven hair shouted, he wore a school uniform.

"I know but they said we will move the following day," said his friend the other boy he also wore a school uniform

"So where do you want to go for your last day here? Tristian?" the raven hair boy asks his friend.

"I don't know," he said as they looked at the woods

"How about going to the Chinese market we keep passing by?" the raven boy said

"Good idea," said Tristian as they went down the road leading to the Chinese market

"I can't believe we hadn't gone there before now." the first boy said.

"I'm sure it's still there," said Tristian

"I am not questioning if it's still there, I'm surprised we hadn't gone there before." the first boy said.

"Your right," said Tristian

Both thought they had passed by the market without going in once.

"There it is," they both said

Ahead of them is the market in question it's a normal size little market and didn't stand out too much.

"Oh let's check out that store," said the first boy

They enter the building.

"Hello," said Tristian

"Hello there how can I help you young gentlemen?" an elderly woman asks as she sat at the counter.

"We're just looking around," said the first boy

"I hope you young men find a treasure that you won't be looking for." the elderly woman said.

"Treasure?" they both said

The two check out the shelves.

"Hey Chris, look what I found," said Tristian

Chris went to where his friend is at and saw Tristian holding a book.

"I wonder what's inside," he asked

"I hadn't opened it yet and I can't read the title it's in Chinese," Tristian answered.

"Maybe the lady at the counter, let's ask her," said Chris

Then the book began to shake and glow.

"Uh Tristian, I'm no book expert but I don't think the book is supposed to do that," said a terrified Chris as he pointed at the book in his friends' hands

Tristian drops the book and it opens.

"What's happening," asked Chris

"I don't know!" Tristian said.

Then the book started to pull them in.

"Quick close the book!" said Chris

It was too late both boys pull them fully in.

"Boys?" said the elderly woman

The woman walks over to the book.

"Oh dear," she said as she picked up the book

"I told them they would find a treasure." the woman said with a smile on her smile.

Meanwhile, the boys were traveling through a tunnel of light.

"I WANT MY MOMMY," shouted Chris scared

"I'M GONNA DIE! I'M GONNA DIE!" Tristain wails as he flaps his arms to be like a bird. "I'M GONNA THROW UP FIRST AND THEN I'M GONNA DIE!"

HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP STOP THIS CRAZY THING," said Chris

Then Chirs saw the end of the tunnel and what he sees isn't good.

"Oh no!" Chris said

"What's wrong," asked Tristian

"LOOK!" Chirs shouted as he pointed to the end of the tunnel.

Tristian looked and saw some trees and a dirt road.

"Is that?" Tristian asks.

"THE GROUND YES WHICH MEANS THE END OF THIS TUNNEL IS IN THE SKY!" Chirs shouted.

They started screaming as they started falling out of the sky

But when he didn't feel a hard impact Chirs opens his eyes and saw the impossible as a cloud catch him and Tristian while slowly heading towards the ground.

"Cool a cloud, thank you," they both said to the cloud

Once it reaches the point where the boys could step off of it.

"Thank you, Mr. Cloud," they both said

They get off the cloud and it went back into the sky.

"Cool but how did it do that," asked Chris

"I don't know but where are we?" Tristian asks as he looks around.

"YODEL-DEL-EE-HOOOOOOO," shouted Chris hoping for an echo

But instead of an echo a tiger and a wolf jump out.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH RUN THEY ARE GONNA EAT US," shouted Tristian as they took off running fast

Instead of running the two beasts fly towards the boys, the tiger went in Tristian's mouth while the wolf did the same with Chris.

They choked as they begin to transform

Tristian started to grow orange, white-furred with black stripes while Chris started to grow grey-furred.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING," shouted Chris

Then they grew tails and animal ears.

Down the road heading toward Chris and Tristian were two familiar pilgrims.

"Isn't the breeze feel nice master," said a monkey pilgrim

"Yes, it is Monkey." the human pilgrim answered as he rides on a white house.

Monkey jumped in the air and flew in a loop de loop and more tricks

Then Monkey saw the two boys up on the road.

"Master, I see something up ahead," he said pointing to the two boys

"Do you think it's something dangerous?" the human pilgrim asks

"Should we go see they might be hurt," asked Monkey

"We should." the human answered as he makes the horse move faster.

"Wait for me Master," said Monkey as he flew fast to catch up with his master

The two reach the boys within a matter of seconds.

"Excuse me are you alright," the human master asked the two boys

"No...animals...jump...in." Chris tries to answer the question but can barely speak.

"They don't look so good master," said Monkey

"I'm afraid it's far worse than you think it's vengeful spirits trying to take over their bodies!" the human pilgrim said.

"We better get them help," said Monkey

"Monkey I need you to find the nearness temple if there aren't any then find the closest Budda or mount spirit quickly." the human pilgrim ordered.

"On my way, Master," said Monkey as he flew off fast

On his cloud, the monkey looks for either a village or a temple.

"Please let there be one," he said to himself while looking around

"Monkey!? how are you?" a voice asks.

Turning around the monkey see a man with a long ear heading towards him.

"Hi long time, but I can't stay, two boys need help," he said

"What happened?" the man asked.

Monkey explained everything to him and he nodded his head in understanding

"You forget Monkey I'm the Lotus Buddha." the now know Lotus Buddha said

"Can you please come and help me with the two boys please," he asked bowing

"You don't need to ask I was going to help after you told me what happen to them." the Lotus Buddha said

"Oh thank you so much, Lotus Buddha, follow me and I'll take you to them right away," said Monkey as he and the Lotus Buddha hurried back to the two boys as fast as they can

When they reach the boys and the human pilgrim where Monkey had left them at.

"Master, I'm back and I have brought the Lotus Buddha with me to help these two boys," he said

"There's is no time to waste do you know how expelled the vengeful spirits?" Lotus Buddha asks Monkey's master.

"I might," he said

"That will have to do." Lotus Buddha said

"So you'll help us please," he begged as he bowed

"Yes, and we must hurry!" Lotus Buddha said as he starts chanting and channeling some of his energy into the boys.

Monkey's master chanted too

Both boys open their mouths and the spirits slowly leave their bodies.

"So these two spirits are responsible," said the Lotus Buddha

But the spirits fight back and try to stay in the boys' bodies

"Monkey you must help these boys please," said his master

Monkey joins his master and the Lotus Buddha hearing the voices that trying to help them Chris and Tristian fight the spirits as well.

"Don't give up you two," said Monkey

With a mighty roar and howl the two spirits were expelled from the boys, then the Lotus Buddha created a box that draws the spirits into it and closes it while a paper seal is placed in front of it.

"Phew that was close," said Monkey

"I'm afraid we didn't reach them soon enough." Monkey's master said as he looks at the boys.

Chris still has grey-furred, wolf ears on top of his head, he has a wolf tail now, and his shoes were ripped and torn as he has claws instead of human nails, Tristian had the same change but with tiger parts.

"Are they going to be okay?" asked Monkey.

"It's seen that those two were stronger than the spirits thought and when we expelled them some of their powers not only stay with the boys and awake the boys' own magic and powers." the Lotus Buddha said as he holds the box.

"But we better get them someplace safe so they can rest," said The Monkey's master

"They have to join you on your journey since I believe only Monkey can train them in the use of their new abilities." the Lotus Buddha said.

"Of course, Lotus Buddha," said Monkey bowing his head

Monkey's master bows to the Lotus Buddha as he leaves them.

"I think this a time for you to use your magic Monkey but only you may only carry us to the nearness temple or village." Monkey's master said.

"Of course Master, it would be an honor," said Monkey bowing to his master

Monkey then created a cloud below them, and it rise into the sky.

It flew off as Monkey looked below for a temple or a village for them

'Good thing the Lotus Buddha came along as he did.' Monkey thought as he kept looking.

He looked down below and at last, he saw a village

"Look, Master!" Monkey said while pointing at the village.

"I see it Monkey, we can rest there," said the master as they went to the village

Monkey landed the cloud in front of an inn.

"Monkey please go get us some rooms and put the boys in bed while I will go around and see if everyone here knows about the spirits we had dealt with." Monkey's master said as he jumps off the cloud.

"Of course Master, please be careful," said Monkey

"I'll try." Monkey's master said as he walks away.

Monkey kept enough of the cloud to carry the two boys.

Once inside and got rooms, Monkey gently placed the two boys on beds

Monkey asks the innkeeper if there were a stable nearby

He nodded his head as he shows Monkey where the stables are for the horse, once the horse is in the stable Monkey went back to the inn.

Meanwhile, Monkey's master found now a man walking to his home.

"Excuse me, kind sir," he said walking up to him

"How can I help you monk?" the man asks,

"Can you please tell me What you know about a tiger and a wolf spirit that goes into humans," asked the Master

"Sorry don't know any spirits that do that." the man answered.

"Please about the spirits of tiger and wolf," he asked

"We do have two spirits one a tiger and the other a wolf they guarded our village for many generations sadly they only protect us from outside forces." the man answered.

"Please tell me more honored sir," said the master bowing his head as he explained about what had happened to a pair of boys

"Those fools." the man said while shaking his head.

"YOU COWARD!" a man's voice shouted nearby.

They turned to see what was the noise about

They are two groups of people both who have taken battle stances and shouted at one other.

"GIVEN ME BACK MY SISTER OR ELSE!" a man wearing grey clothing shouted.

"LIAR! YOU WERE THE ONES TAKE MY BROTHER!" a woman shouted she wears a red Chinese vest with golden vine patterns and black trim, held together with small metal fasteners and a waist wrap. She also wears black silk pants and black sandals while having a sword in her right hand.

"Please calm down, maybe I can be of help," said the master as he bowed his head

"Aren't you? Tripitaka?" The woman asks

"Yes I am may I help you," said Tripitaka bowing his head

"By staying out of this the time for talking had passed long ago." the man said.

"Please there might be a misunderstanding," he begged

"You are wasting your time Tripitaka these two clans had been feuding before their missing members went missing." the man that Tripitaka was talking to before said.

Then the Lotus Buddha appeared before the groups, the man and Tripitaka a look of disappointment upon his face.

"Gentle people please," said the Lotus Buddha

"Lotus Buddha! if I may ask why have you come here?" Tripitaka questions.

"To help calm down the feud, now please tell me what happened," he said

Tripitaka and the man told the Lotus Buddha everything they know about the feud.

"I see," he said

The Lotus Buddha told everyone there what he had learned from the spirits.

"Are you saying that..." asked the man

"And I can show you, their bodies." the Lotus Buddha answered.

He then started leading them to the bodies

It didn't take long to reach the spot where the missing couple was and there under three trees were the dead bodies.

"How did this happen," said the man and woman in shock

"This happens because of your pointless feud you were both blinded by your hate for one another that you did not notice the love these two had shared and when they try to be freed from that hate, they lost their lives." the Lotus Buddha said.

"Maybe he is right, our feud must end now or we all risk losing more lives of our loved ones," said the woman with tears in her eyes

"There are two others who had paid for your feud," Tripitaka told the man and woman.

"What do you mean, please show us, monk," asked The man

Tripitaka led the group to the inn; Monkey and the two boys are staying.

"Look with your eyes and see what happens to others for your feud," he said waving his hand at the two boys

"These two try their best to keep the spirits at bay until Tripitaka and Monkey found them with my aid, we expelled the spirits from the bodies of these two boys." Lotus Buddha said as he set two sets of clothes between the two boys then he pulls out from his lotus a pair of shielded gauntlets and a Meteor hammer he place the gauntlets next to Chris and the Meteor Hammer next to Tristian.

"What have we done, no one should be hurt from this feud," said the man as he got on his knees and wept silently

"What about our guardian spirits? what are you going to do to them?" the woman asks the Lotus Buddha as tears roll down her face.

"You and he will decide, end this feud or the same will happen to many other people like your brother and his sister," he said

"After what we had seen it would be pointless to keep the feud going." the woman said.

"I agree with you dear maiden," said the man drying his eyes

The Lotus Buddha then summons the box which holds the spirits.

The Buddha opens the box, and the two spirits came out in front of the man and woman.

"Dear spirits," they said both.

"We're sorry for the pain we cause you." they both said.

They both bowed their heads in front of the Tiger and Wolf spirits.

"But what will happen to the spirits, how will we make sure they are in peace if the feud is over, please tell us O wise Buddha," they both bowed waiting for a response

"Since your words were spoken with true feelings your guardian spirits' rage is gone and they will return to their duties as your village's guardian spirits the reason why they were enraged by the feud is that they care deeply for everyone in it, as to ensure that this won't happen again hold a play that tells what had happened here today, so future generations won't forget." the Lotus Buddha told them.

"Thank you kind Buddha and let this symbolize the ending of the war of this feud as we march forward to a new age of peace and happiness, Till all are one," they both said raising their fists high and others chant too

Both the Lotus Buddha and Tripitaka smile as the spirits return to their homes.

"Good people, hear us," said the man

Everyone in the village looks at the man.

"From this day forth, we are ending this war permanently and making peace with the other clan and we will soon do a play of our story for everyone to see," he said

The people cheered.

"Thank you, kind monk and Buddha," said the woman turned towards the Lotus Buddha and Tripitaka

"You still have to apology to the boys when they wake up," Monkey said.

"Of course," said the man and woman

"Once again thank you for your aid, Lotus Buddha," Tripitaka said.

"You're welcome," said the Lotus Buddha

Then the Lotus Buddha takes his leaves.

"We will take good care of the boys," Monkey said.

"Excellent idea Monkey," said Tripitaka

"I guess we going to be here a while," Monkey said.

"Of course," said Tripitaka

"Hopefully it would take them long to wake up," Monkey said.

"Agreed," said Tripitaka

"I will go get something to eat," Monkey said.

"Be careful Monkey," said Tripitaka

"I will master," Monkey said as he leaves

"Hope you boys get a good sleep," he said

Tripitaka leaves the room and enters his and Monkey's room to meditate.

He started to meditate while the boys were sleeping
