Leonardo and Mason traveled to Sanibel. Mason described the trip to Ashley like they were recovering their members but Leonardo was looking for answers. Leonardo wanted to know who Ashley was and where she came from. Everything Mason knew Leonardo would know when they returned. Ashley came downstairs the day after they left. A redhead sitting at the dining table with a blonde girl 'shushed' the blonde girl. Ashley sat down and didn't make eye contact with either of them. House mom would arrive with their portion of food any minute now. "Is Mason your boyfriend?" The redhead asked, she was poorly hiding a frown. "No." Ashley replied, the blonde playfully shoved the redhead. "See Mary I told you Mason was into you. He's uh, probably helping her out because he feels bad. You know Mason's the hero type."
Weirdly the mean girls made Ashley feel nostalgic. She didn't even know how someone could have nostalgia for something they've never experienced but the whole interaction felt normal. "Mason's a good guy, he brought me here for my safety but he doesn't look at me the way he looks at you and he talks about you." The redhead gasped. "Really? I'm Mary and you are?" Ashley nodded and introduced herself. The three of them shared a pop tart and went to the clothing shop. "Sorry, for being rude in the house. I'm a big Mason and Mary shipper mainly because she's my best friend and Mason makes her happy you know? Oh, and I'm Hannah." The blonde held out her hand and Ashley hugged her instead. Maybe deep down inside Ashley wanted to experience having friends. She wanted to experience going shopping and talking about boys. Would that be so bad?
The three of them took turns coming in and out of the dressing room in different outfits. Ashley leaned towards the dull clothing and mint items. They called her style boho, Ashley pretended to know what that meant . "Okay, if you don't like Mason, who do you like?" Hannah asked, the three of them walked out of the shop. "I uh, I liked someone older - an adult and I don't know I felt like he would've liked me if I were an adult but uh, he's a good person. Good enough to never return my feelings under any circumstances. I hate that because I like to think of myself as an adult but I'm not. I feel like I'm adult because of everything I've been through. I'm justified, I want everyone to know I deserve some respect." Ruby and Hannah were on either sides of her holding her hands. Ruby squeezed Ashley's hand comfortingly. Ruby was a little suspicious of Ashley because her words held so much . "We'll hook you up, I know a couple cute boys here."
