At school, Crowama overheard some girls giggling down the hall.

"Who do you think is the cutest boy at school?"

"Suchi obviously."

"Well you can't pick him because he's probably dating the new girl. What about you Kaede, who do you pick?"

"I actually think Yuu Kaito is really cute..."

"Really? That boy? He's weird."

"So?"

"He'll probably take you on a boring date at the library."

"What's wrong with that?"

Crowama had heard enough. One, because she also thought Kaito was weird, and two, she had an idea. She rushes over to where she'll find Kurama in the classroom.

Skidding to a halt, she slams her hands down on his desk, disturbing him from studying.

He looked up from his book. "Yes...?"

"Take me out on a date." Crowama states.

Kurama glanced away briefly before looking back at her. "... Today?"

"Yes."

"This is all so sudden... I haven't a clue of—"

Crowama started walking away before he could finish. "You'll figure something out." she had said on her way to her desk.

As class commenced, Kurama could hardly focus. Exams were coming up and the pressure was on. But all he could think about was what kind of date he should take Crowama on.

What did she like? Where would she like to go?

The questions were endless.

Perhaps he should've done a better job at asking questions about her interests a while ago. Though, to be fair, Crowama hardly did anything else but spend time with him.

Did she even have other interests?

It dawned on Kurama that she had been focused on her mission to save her kind, that she probably wasn't given room for anything else. Maybe a sequence of events were in order, Kurama just had to plan them.

And quick too. She wanted the date to be today.

After school, Kurama took his fiance on a little detour to the shopping district.

"Is this where our date is going to take place?" Crowama asked, taking in her surroundings.

Kurama nodded slightly. "I'm going to let you pick out a gift for yourself."

Crowama's eyes went wide. "Really?"

He had his allowance in his pocket so he was prepared for whatever she wanted to get. Kurama made it a practice to save money and was an overall smart spender. He could splurge a little bit on her.

"How about that?" Crowama pointed to a shop window. As the princess of crows, she was of course attracted to shiny things.

Kurama squinted to see what she was referring to.

A pair of glass slippers.

It was far too expensive than what Kurama could afford. Especially if he had other plans for this date.

Together, they walk up the the window to get a better look.

He had to admit that the slippers would look wonderful on her dainty feet.

The window display had other elegant accessories that were equally expensive. No matter how many times Kurama had been down this street, he has never seen this store before.

"Taken a fancy to the slippers?"

Both Kuramas snapped their attention to a cloaked woman holding the shop door open. Her face was obscured along with the rest of her body except for her pale hands.

"Go on," the woman said. "Take them."

Suddenly the slippers were in her hand as she held them towards Crowama.

"Sorry Miss," Kurama interjected. "I cannot afford those—"

The mysterious woman waved it off. "For free. Anything for young love."

"Who am I to refuse something that free?" Crowama gratefully took the shoes from the woman.

"I—"

Both the woman and Crowama look at Kurama.

"— need a box for that, don't want them to break."

"Of course, of course." The woman now had a jewel encrusted box with a pillow inside for them. "Here you go."

Crowama's obsession over shines now shifted towards the box. "Ooh!" She handed Kurama the slippers briefly as she took the box and opened it. "Suichi, be a dear?"

Kurama nodded and placed the slippers into the box. He turned towards the shop door to thank the woman but she was gone. He hadn't sensed any demon energy from her, so she has to be something else.

The next thing Kurama wanted to take his fiance was to a movie. She never saw one before. Kurama even had to get in contact with Keiko to know what type of movies girls typically like.

Keiko informed him that a feel-good romance movie was the best kind for a first date. In fact, the one she was supposed to see with Yusuke on their first date was doing a reshowing.

Crowama was fascinated by the smell of popcorn and the dark scenery. "What is this place?" she asked.

"The theatre." Kurama replies.

Crowama nods in understanding, although incorrectly. "Oh! Are we seeing a play?"

"Hm, something like that. You'll see."

Kurama had already bought their tickets outside and was now buying them popcorn. He'd let her eat most of it though, as she now considered it to be her favorite food ever.

As they watched the movie, Crowama would talk multiple times much to the other movie goer's dismay. Kurama did his best to teach her that she was not supposed to speak during the movie but had forgotten to do so before they entered.

After a little while Crowama got the hint and happily munched on popcorn.

The last stop on their date was dinner. Even though Crowama had practically eaten the bucket of popcorn by herself, she was starving.

As they waited for their food, Kurama asked a question.

"Are you enjoying the date?"

Crowama was distracted by the shoe box— she had refused to let Kurama carry it for her— and snapped her attention up to him. "What did you say?"

"I said..." Kurama outstretched his hand across the table to hold hers. "Are you enjoying the date?"

Crowama nodded enthusiastically. "It's like... Three dates at the same time." she says. "Is that how dates normally are?"

"You don't know?"

"Nope." Crowama shrugged. "I've never been on one before."

Kurama was shocked. "Really?" For someone who was engaged three other times, it was very odd to hear. No wonder it didn't work out with them. "Well, I for one am glad that I'm able to take you on your first date."

Crowama smile softly before getting a look of wanting something on her face. "You know what we should do after this? We should go dancing. I wanna try on the slippers."

"I'm sure I could fin—"

"Let me take care of that." Crowama interrupted.

Crowama had taken him to the abandoned park where he proposed to her.

At this hour, the moon was high in the sky.

She set the shoebox down next to her as she sat down on the fountain. Kurama knelt next to her and removed her school shoes and socks to put on the slippers.

Once they were on, Crowama stood up and swished her skirt around to get a good look at her feet.

"They're lovely," Kurama states, reaching for her hands. Though, Crowama keeps one hand to herself to pull out her leaf, leaving Kurama puzzled. "Where does that go when you're not using that?" he asks.

Crowama waived off the question. "Doesn't matter. Now brace yourself."

"Hm—?"

Crowama summoned winds beneath their feet to lift them into the air. Her skirt billowed around her legs.

"Follow my lead."

Crowama began to lead them into a slow dance. Everywhere they stepped, there would be winds strong enough to keep them afloat.

While Crowama experienced many things for this first time today, this was a first for Kurama.
