Copperleg blinked out tears, "I just wanted to help you. I wanted you to live a normal life. I…I didn't mean to kill her. You'll always be my beloved younger brother, Termitetail. I would die to save you." Termitetail's eye's flashed with anger, "I wish I wasn't apart of this stupid clan, I wish Whitetuft didn't exist, and most of all: I wish you died instead."

After finally receiving his warrior name, Fireheart finds his training is not yet complete. To Fireheart's dismay, the one who will finish his training is Darkstripe.

She believed they were Starclan spirits and followed their orders. Now she is in the Darkforest. After Firestar leaves the old forest to their new home at the lake, Princess and Smudge start experiencing mysterious dreams. As they are called to the forest, mysterious deaths and secretive clanmates are not all they have to worry about. Howls are coming from the forest, calling for blood and death. When Jayfeather and Lionblaze are bored, Breezepelt, Tawnypelt and Mistyfoot come along, and guess what! They're bored too!
