This is an AU sequel to my story, Potions of Love. I will bring aspects of Potions of Love into this follow-up saga, so I encourage followers to browse the first story, which was loosely based on the movie Love Potion Number 9. Many of the characters in this story are from the TV series #Castle, which ABC and Andrew Marlowe own. Others are from my imagination.

Detective Beckett questions Castle about the 'Flowers for her Grave' murder and discovers he's not high on the NYPD. Still, he wants to be involved with the department. She's not the only one touched by an unsolved homicide.

Kate Beckett has recently been pulled off an undercover that resulted in her cover being blown. For her own protection, her captain has assigned her a personal bodyguard by the name of Rick Castle. Go back to your ex-wife, your Hamptons, your book parties, okay? I've got work to do." This is what prompted this story.
