This is my retelling of Mortal Kombat which is an entire hard reboot that will be retelling every story in the Original Timeline going from MK1 to MK Armageddon. I will include a vast amount of characters from various pieces of MK related media along with some of my own creations where l treat each character with care. Constructive feedback is always welcome. A fan made Mortal Kombat reboot, told through the perspective of Johnny Cage as he fights through the events of the Earthrealm and Outworld Tournament with Liu Kang, Sonya and Lord Raiden in order to save our world from the forces of evil.

In an alternate timeline, one decision brings forth an interaction that will change the realms forever. Mileena wants to adored, feared, worshipped. She is a monster and knows it, determined to be the best monster for her father and outdo her twin sister Kitana. She has been given a chance to do so by killing the so-called Chosen One of Earthrealm only to discover an old friend.

Liu Kang has killed Shao Kahn and ended the Outworld invasion of Earthrealm. Sounds splendid, right? Well, things are about to take a real nosedive, as civil war breaks out in Outworld over who should succeed Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi have formed a deadly alliance, and the earth elemental Tremor’s loyalties remain unknown. The realms’ fate hangs in the balance yet again…

This is a story that has been in development for a while, but I figured now I would finally post my own reimagining of the Mortal Kombat story and mythos. While the posting of the chapters may be erratic at times, I will try to post new chapters of this whenever I can. This first season will be focused on covering some character origins and the events of the first game.

Note: This is my first attempt at an AU. I thought about doing an AU of Mortal Kombat 11 for a while since it's one of my favorite games and first game in the series I've played. This is an AU of what if I had my own character in the story, role in the story, alignment, abilities, etc. Thought about this for more than a while since I joined an MK based Discord server.

Failing to prevent Armageddon, Raiden manages to reverse time by sending images back to his past self with hope for a different outcome to prevent the second coming of Armageddon. Hopefully, he and a new warrior will be able to help with that outcome and pave the way for a better future for all the realms.

This story begins years after Mortal Kombat 4, before Deadly Alliance, and into Deception, then reverts to Mortal Kombat (2011) . The story follows mainly Mileena, Kitana, and Jade as they travel the new timeline. Things change little by little and the tale that spans to the origins of the Elder Gods and time itself is explored, and the One Being's power connects major players.
