Following cataclysmic battles with the likes of enigmatic Kang and a visit from the powerful Kree Empire, Iron Man discovers a monumental burst of energy emerging from Hydra Island. After assembling the Avengers and attacking Hydra, the team detects nothing suspicious. However when the body Of Baron Strucker is examined by Iron Man, his skin starts to morph into green lizardy scales! Knowing this was the Skrulls the Kree offered to "protect" them from previously, Iron Man hands his findings to Reed Richards who arrives at Avengers Mansion to do a proper analysis. However, hours later Reed Richards is found dead in his lab! Realising that they had the alien infiltrators in their Ranks, Iron Man assembles the team and tells them that they must cleanse their team of traitors otherwise Earth will stand no chance against the Skrull as it will be attacked from the inside. Nick Fury (the host character) storms in and says "We're overseeing this operation Tony! He turned to the team. Alright ,find the Aliens, I want them dead! And we've got someone to help you scatterbrains! His name is Silver Surfer" The team walked off (very annoyed) and began to discuss.
After many hours of endless discussion. The team was growing impatient, Nick Furious came up with a solution " If you feel someone is a Skrull Imposter you may challenge him or her to the DEATH, discuss and fight NOW!"
