AN: Okay, it's been a long while since I updated this story too, but just recently I got my inspiration back to write my stories and I remembered how much fun it is to write them. :) Well, that and it's a habit that I just recently started where I spend a couple hours each night before I sleep just writing for my stories... most of the time at one or two in the morning... hehe... oh summer...

"Mom, I'm home!" Alice yelled as she entered her house, taking off her shoes and walking to the kitchen, book in hand. She opened the fridge and grabbed an apple. When she closed the door, she found a note that said:

Your father and I are going out, will be back later.

Alice smiled a bit, it was not often when her parents went out on a date together and she thought it was kind of cute of them. Washing the apple and placing it in her mouth, she ran upstairs to her room and placed her backpack and the strange book on her desk. She opened the book on her desk and examined the pages, noticing that she could not recognize any words or the language of the book. 'Very strange… Where did this come from?' She got up from her seat, believing that a shower would help clear her head and help her think.

She grabbed a towel and made her way to the bathroom. A minute after she left the room, the little Italian brothers regained consciousness.

"Ve, that was a nice nap, right Romano- Ah! It's dark! Where are you Fratello?"

"Shut up, I'm right here!" Romano yelled at his brother. "I think I see a light." Italy panicked.

"No Romano! Don't go towards the light!" Romano hit Italy on his head.

"Not that light idiot, I see a way out of here. Follow me."

The brothers crawled towards the small opening in the backpack, unzipping the bag and ended up on a long wooden surface. "Where the hell are we?"

They looked around the average looking room; it wasn't too amazing. There was a twin sized bed in the corner, a night stand right next to it, a closet on the other side of the room, and the desk they were standing on, which had a television, a laptop, and a discarded scarf on it.

Italy turned to his brother. "Fratello, did we get captured again?" Romano tsk'ed.

"I'm not sure, but this could be our chance to show how strong we can be."

"Ve, what do you mean?"

"I'm saying that if we can escape, we can prove that we're not weak and helpless," Romano looked at his brother. "Well, prove you're not weak and helpless." He walked over and picked up the scarf. "We can use this to escape."

Italy tilted his head to the side. "How can we use that?" Romano's mouth turned into a mischievous smirk.

"You'll see."

'Yay, fresh~' Alice thought as she stepped out of the bathroom, towel wrapped around her torso. 'I still couldn't think of anything that book might be related to. Seriously, what kind of book is it and why would they leave it in a tree no less?' Alice sighed and opened her door. 'Well, I guess I just have to-'

"Now you idiot!" "Ve!" Alice had no time to think as the tiny brothers jumped from the top of her door and immobilized her while swinging around her torso, wrapping her in her own scarf. They tied the ends together in the back and jumped off of Alice, smiling in victory. "Now's our chance Italy, run for the door!"

"Oh no you don't!" Right before the brothers could make it to the door, Alice kicked it shut and trapped them in her room. Italy and Romano gulped and turned to their captor. "What the hell is going on here? Why are you two trying to subdue me and more importantly, why are you guys alive? I thought you were dolls?!"

Romano smirked, "Well, thank you for the compliment but-" "AHH! Please don't eat us! I taste terrible!" Romano hit his brother in the head. "Idiot! Don't show the enemy any fear!" He turned to glare at Alice, who was looming over both of them with a glare on her face. "Eat him first! I taste worse than him!" He hid behind his little brother, waving a white flag around.

Alice sighed. 'How pathetic…' "Look, I'm not going to eat anyone, just tell me what's going on and untie me."

The brothers recollected themselves and Romano spoke, "That's what we would like to know, how the fuck did we get trapped in this room? We were in the park, from what I can remember, and then suddenly we're trapped in here." Italy stepped forward and raised his hand. "Ve, how about we all sit down and explain to each other what happened?"

Alice and Romano tsk'ed. "Well, I guess that could work." They glared at each other. "Don't copy me!" Alice walked toward her bed as Romano walked toward the nightstand. "Grr…"

"Oh, so you guys are apparently nations, have somehow shrunk to the size of some of my plush dolls, and ended up in that tree after you blacked out at a meeting?" Alice held her head. 'Ah, this is a lot to take in. It sounds ridiculous, but what other explanation can there be for this type of situation?'

"And apparently you found us and this book in the park after we fell out of the tree, and then took us to your house?" Alice nodded and Romano sighed. "Well, it's better than ending up on the streets by ourselves, right Fratello?" Italy chipped in. Romano crossed his arms. "I guess so…" Italy smiled and turned toward Alice. "So, can we stay here? Please?"

'Damn his adorableness…' "Well, since your current circumstances are not favorable and I am still curious about what that book means… Sure, it's fine by me."

"Yay!" Italy jumped onto Alice's shoulder and hugged her cheek. "I promise you won't regret it and we'll have pasta every night!" Alice giggled. "Well, maybe not every night Italy, but pasta does sound good." She shrugged him off her shoulder and he ran to his brother on the nightstand. "Now, will you guys please untie me? I need to put on my pajamas."

Romano smirked. "Well, as long as I get to watch." Italy added with a grin. "Ve, you won't bother me."

"Unless you guys want to sleep outside with the coyotes, I suggest that you untie me and get out of my room." Romano put his hands up in defense. "Alright, alright, no need to bitch at us." The brothers walked behind her and untied the scarf, freeing Alice who rubbed her sore arms. "Now…" She picked up both of the Italies by the collars of the shirts. "Just wait out here until I'm done. Oh, and stay hidden, I don't know when my parents are coming back home and I don't want them seeing two tiny, doll-sized nations running around the house. Alice set them down outside her door and shut it.

Italy looked up at the large door. "Ve, I hope everyone else is alright. I mean, we can't be the only ones who ended up like this, right?" Romano leaned against the door. "Maybe, I mean the light filled up the entire fucking room." Italy looked to the floor, a dejected look on his face. "I hope Germany and Japan are alright." Romano looked to the tall ceiling. "The tomato-bastard is probably up to something stupid right now." He shook his head. "Idiot…"

Alice opened the door, wearing black pajama bottoms with scarlet hearts and a long sleeve red pajama top. "Alright guys, I'm decent." She looked down at the spaced out Italy and at Romano who was on the ground, eyes closed, rubbing his head. "Damnit, stupid fucking bitch…" Alice glared at him. "Um, excuse me?" Romano opened his eyes and returned the glare. "It's about time you finished." He got up, nudged his brother, who returned to reality, and both of them followed Alice back into the room.

"So, I found some old shoe boxes in my closet and cleared some shelves in there too. You guys can sleep in there for the time being, just let me get some dish towels to serve as blankets and pillows, I'll be right back." Italy yawned. "I think I'm going to like staying here, she's so nice." Romano frowned, yet also yawned. "Eh, it's better than tree."

"Okay guys, I got the towels" Alice smiled as she walked in the room, though it slightly dropped at the lack of response from the brothers. She looked down toward her closet door, a gentle smile adoring her face at the sight of the two Italies sitting on the ground, heads leaning against each other, fast asleep. She quietly walked around them and set up the beds they would be sleeping in. She picked up the younger Italy first, putting him in the shoe box on the lower shelf and tucking him in. He stirred for a second, but calmed down, letting out a small mutter which sounded like he was saying someone's name. Alice game a small giggle and picked up Romano, setting him in the shoe box on the upper shelf. 'So he won't complain about being on the bottom.' She tucked him in too and turned away toward her bed.

"Hey, wait." Alice stopped and saw Romano sitting up in his bed, looking at her sleepily. "Yes, what's up?" He laid back down. "Grazie, for, you know, not kicking us out." She smiled. "No problem, Romano."
