I had been exactly two weeks since Light had been contacted by Cassandra and he was getting exceedingly impatient. She said that she would contact him when she deemed in necessary but how long would that take. Damn it! She was in complete control in this game and she knew it, she wasn't letting her upper hand go to waste for sure, because she kept toying with him. He might have the ultimate power of the Death Note, but there was no way that he knew of that he could kill her. This was inconvenient and annoying. She could kill him but he couldn't kill her, the only way he knew of to stay alive was to stay in her good graces and his pride was going to give him a difficult time with that.
He had continued killing criminals and at this point it was a bit like stress relief for him, he could feel in control when judging criminal, he felt powerful, and that gave him a slight high off his power. His phone rang and he jumped at the sudden noise, after a lovely string of curse he answered the phone. "Hello?" He asked warily, very few people knew this number, it was a pay phone and he rarely gave people his number unless it was completely necessary.
"This is Cassandra, Light Yagami." So she had finally called him. Wait, what if the phone line was tapped, was she actually stupid? Damn it all!
"Sorry you must have the wrong number, this is Kyo Sasaki."
"The phone line isn't tapped Light. And if you want to track the number you will have great difficulty, this is a pay phone."
"How do you know that the phone line isn't tapped?"
"I have my sources, now moving onto business there is a riot going on in Okinawa in support of Kira, just thought you might like to know that people now believe that Kira is back, you were to careless with your judging Light Yagami I just hope for your sake that the police this time isn't as good as they were last time, I will not help you like that a second time, if you get yourself caught again, just know that I will not help you, do not depend on me Light or else you will end up dead, stop being so recklessly bold with your actions and tone in down a bit, that should help for a time. Until next time Mr. Yagami." The phone line went dead. Well that was annoying, she simply had called to tell him to tone in down just great exactly what he needed, nothing good had come out of that conversation at all. And now there was even more mystery behind Cassandra, who the hell were her sources, scratch that, who the hell was she?
