Ok guys, I'm back. I am so sorry for the 7 month delay, but I really just lost focus on this story. I'm coming up with new story ideas, but I want to finish this one before I start the others. It felt so good to write this again! Sorry that it's so short, I need to get back in the groove. I love you all that are sticking with me and the people that are just reading it for the first time.

After a few days of being evaluated in the hospital Arik was finally able to go back to her dorm with Theo. Before they left Madame Pomfrey reminded them.

"If she starts to feel sick again bring her over to me immediately, even if it's just a headache. Oh, and be ready with the nursery soon, I feel like you'll need it."

As the two teenagers left the Wing, Theo hiked his bag up on his shoulder a little higher and carefully slipped his arm around the tiny girl next to him. He looked down at her and smiled and she subconsciously brushed stray bits of hair away from her face and lightly rubbed her hand on her now very swollen belly. I almost lost this. They had given up on her. How could they have done that? He shook his head to keep from letting the few tears that had sprung up from falling. He squeezed her a little then looked up as they headed down the hall.

Arik felt his slight squeeze and looked up at her fiancée, she saw how his eyes had a slight shine to them that could only mean one thing, he was sad about something, and she reminded herself to ask about it later. She thought back to her time in the hospital. While she hadn't been awake, her mind was far from empty. It was like the whole time she was living in a dream world. She saw Theo and the pre-pregnancy version of herself; they were sitting on a blanket watching four little kids play on a playground not far from where they were. The children had their father's dark hair and skin complexion; however one of them was a bit lighter and had their mother's hair, straight and red. They were all playing on the monkey bars and the slide. All of a sudden Theo got up and started chasing them around the playground while they all ran and laughed and shrieked. Theo had mentioned for her to come and join but she had politely declined and looked down at her stomach where one could see a slight bump which could only mean that she was pregnant. She looked back up at her family and smiled. That was when she felt a tug and the scene started to fade. She slowly blinked her eyes and asked for Theo.

She almost didn't believe anyone when they told her that she had been in the hospital for a few days. She was happy to be out of there, that is for sure, there was too much coddling and worry from everyone who talked to her.

When they finally reached the door, Theo said the password and helped her waddle inside. They set everything down that Theo had brought to keep himself from worrying about her and faced each other. Arik just stared at Theo not knowing what to say while Theo stared right back. They stayed this way for a few minutes before they both began to speak.

"Theo I-"

"Arik, I was-"

Arik blushed as Theo ran his hand through his hair. "You go please." He said and gestured at her.

"No please, you go, yours is probably more important than mine."

Theo sighed and looked at her carefully, "Arik, I was so worried about you. At first I was angry at you, how could you not know that something was wrong? You had to have known something was up. But then I was just so sad that you were there, you were suffering and fighting for your life and there was nothing I could do. I felt helpless; I've never felt that way before. Why is it that you can make me feel that way when no one else can? You know, they gave up on you. The special team of healers that they brought in to fix you gave up on you. They said that they had 'done all they could' and that you weren't ever going to wake up. I had never felt so hopeless…"

Theo trailed off as thick tears came down his face and he collapsed to his knees. Arik ran over to him and knelt down, holding his head against her shoulder cradling him and rocking slowly. "Theo I wanted to say that I'm sorry, I'm so sorry that all of this happened. I want you to know that I really had no clue what was going on before it was too late, there was nothing that could have been done. I wish that there had been, but look at me Theo, I'm still here." She pulled his face up and smiled at him. "I'm still here Theo. I showed those healers that they were wrong. You shouldn't have felt helpless sweetie, you were the one person that was by my side the whole time, you never gave up on me, and you never let me give up on me. You are the reason I'm still here. I saw you in my mind; I knew that I needed to be here, it was you that got me back Theo."

She wiped away the tears on his face, his crying had stopped and he looked at her with a slightly confused expression. "What do you mean you saw me?"

Arik smiled and explained what she had seen while she was unconscious. By the end of it Theo was smiling and had dropped his head down to give her sweet small kisses on her neck. When she was done telling him her story, Arik looked around and found the catalogue of nursery items that they still needed to agree on. "How about we get started on figuring out the nursery?"

For the next hour they two looked through the book and found some things that they could both agree would work for the nursery. Arik was taking down notes as Theo would pitch out an idea. There were separate headings for all of the things that they would need: cribs, changing stations, toys, clothes, etc… As the hour passed the parchment for the notes was getting full and Arik paused, quill feather in her mouth as she looked at Theo who had been silent for a few minutes. She smiled to herself as she saw that he was fast asleep, she gently pulled the book out of his hands and closed it, placing it on the coffee table in front of them with the parchment on top of it. She summoned a blanket large enough for the both of them and cuddled under his arm before drifting off into a peaceful sleep as well.

If you guys have any ideas about what should happen next, please don't be scared to drop me a message. Bye my lovelies!
