Disclaimer: If I owned Naruto my TV wouldn't be so small and since my TV is small then logic dictates that I must not own Naruto. I wish I did though. I do own my original characters though. I don't own Naruto so don't sue me.
The world stretched and blurred before my eyes as I flung myself through the undergrowth towards the explosion of dust and chakra that had occurred only minutes ago. The clone was jumping in front of me, able to sense his originals chakra. I could only think one thing: "Don't die". I felt my chakra release violently out of my feet as I leapt off a branch, leaving an imprint in the wood and splinters flying in my wake. I needed to go faster.
I blinked. Once. Twice. The dust should have cleared by now. Why hadn't it cleared. When I had landed on that manipulative bitch my palms stretched out to collide with her back and I definitely felt she was solid. My Byakugan was active and I knew there was a chakra network beneath my fingers. I even felt each chakra point pop as my two chakra shrouded hands smashed into the figure beneath me. It wasn't a clone or after the first point had exploded it would had dissolved its shape. By that reckoning she should have been imprinted in the floor but when the attack ended I found no evidence of her beneath my fingers. My Byakugan was off as I couldn't use it after the attack I did for at least five minutes, an aspect that I never thought would be a problem until now. Tsuinpurinsesu no jutsu is designed to be a one hit kill move.
The dust, I now realised, was imbued with chakra. I could feel it pressing in on me, unlike normal dust, it felt heavy and damp. I berated myself silently for not noticing earlier. Despite being the sensor on Team Mouse I had never actually developed my sensory ability, I had relied on my Dojutsu and I was paying for it now. I heard thumping sounds coupled with a harsh scraping coming from my right. The smoke had not done anything to my hearing, I wasn't completely helpless and if this person thought they could sneak up on me, they will be very surprised to find a kunai in their lung. I quickly flung a dozen of said instrument in the direction I had heard the noise from. I heard the thunks that indicated the kunai had sunk into rock and not the intended target. I strained my ears against the unnatural silence compacting the clearing. Then I heard it, the whistling of something through the air, getting louder by the second. I leapt to the left narrowly avoiding a cluster of small pellets that left a crater where I was just standing. I landed nimbly on my hands before pushing up just a moment later as I heard the same noise.
A deadly game had begun and I wasn't sure I'd survive.
Asuma was gone; he had thrown himself through the undergrowth like a mad man. I couldn't blame him though. If the person I loved was in danger I would do the same. Uta and I were still bouncing from branch to branch, chasing after the residue chakra from the explosion we had seen earlier. It was proving difficult, neither of us were master sensors and the way in which the chakra had spread throughout the forest was strange. There was points at which the chakra we could feel was familiar, mostly Hinata's and some small amounts Naruto's from dispelled clones but other times we felt chakra that was dense, tightly compacted in the air, like they were oceans pretending to be streams. This strange chakra meant that neither me nor Uta could find the epicentre of the attack and were stuck leaping through trees in an ever more random fashion. Uta was in front bounding from branch to branch, chakra streaming off the soles of her feet.
"Fox" I called to her "Drop to the ground, I think I have a way to find them" I jumped down and perched on a large stone protruding through the earth. She looked back over her shoulder, her ANBU mask shadowed by her hair before she followed my lead. I was already preparing the jutsu as she landed next to me, her feet made a loud thumping sound against the rock. I completed the short sequence and muttered "Doton: Shindo rei no jutsu" before thrusting my hand wrist deep into the stone as though it was puddle of water. I closed my eyes in concentration, I hadn't canvased this great an area before and the concentration that was needed was great. I could feel the jutsu working, the tiniest vibrations in the ground shivered up my arm in continuous quakes. I pushed myself to feel any particularly strong shudders, why was it this hard to concentrate on the vibrations? I shouldn't be finding it this hard. I forced myself to concentrate harder. Found them, the feeling of something smashing against the ground reverberated up my arm, they were emanating from about a hundred metres north east. I relaxed the jutsu slightly. That's when I noticed it. I could only feel one heart beat pulsing from the stone we were perched on. Only one. I pumped a small amount of chakra into my hands before releasing the second jutsu into the rock. A great stone spike jabbed out of the stone at an extremely high velocity. It pierced through the intended target. I withdrew my hands from the still liquid like stone and looked up at the body of Uta that was now impaled by a large spiked stone.
We had been running for a while now neither of us knowing where we were going. Yoake was running ahead leading us through the maze of trees. We were on the ground sprinting to find the battle. I hate this inaction, we were just wandering aimlessly. "Toad" I called to him, he turned his masked face towards me. "We can't just keep running randomly through the forest we have to find a way to track them" Yoake nodded in agreement, we stopped by a particularly large oak tree and scoped the maze we were trapped in.
Why did we have to get separated, I mean to start with we aren't the best tracking team and now the two worst trackers on the team are lost. Kami must have it in for me or maybe it's Jiji from down below. Concentrate now Uta. How to find your annoying teammates is the question not which soul is trying to make me burn, I told myself. Its times like these I wish I was more like my Nara mother. Think Uta, think. It can't be that hard. I guess we could use clones but that would be extremely wasteful of our chakra and that's something we can't afford to be. No we have to do this quickly, so maybe a jutsu one that will find everyone. I don't think I have one of those, Lightning Jutsu aren't really designed to track but to destroy and burn. If there was need to do that then I'd be the first one to call. Ahh the amount of times that's happened is too many to count. There was that time where I blew up the giant acid snail, then there was that drug factory and the shark summons. Good times. I exhaled a chuckle at the memories. Hang on this is no time to be reminiscing. What the fuck am I doing? I keep losing my focus. What's wrong with me? Genjutsu, I felt a look of understanding slide onto my face. I turned to Yoake, "I think we're in a Genjutsu." I let out a small burst of chakra disrupting my normally steady stream. At once the fog in my head cleared leaving my mind was sharp as always.
I scanned the area, noticing nothing moving I looked back to Yoake to check if he had come out of the Genjutsu that had most likely been placed on him as well. I blinked. There was something wrong with his shadow; it looked like steam was coming off it. A Doton clone? I acted fast. I sped forward yanking my Tanto from its sheath as I did so, the earth clone jumped back as my blade, now crackling with electricity, came slicing down in the space the fake was previously standing. I followed my downward swing with a jab; the clone grabbed the blade in his hands. The sharp edges cut into them showering me with rock, I pulsed my chakra. The electricity that was previously fizzing cracked out in an explosion of lightning that obliterated the earthy arms of the false Yoake. I swiftly planted the soles of my feet on the clones chest, I blasted chakra from my them and somersaulted through the air backwards. I landed on a tree trunk, sticking to it like an enraged gecko. Yoake's Toad ANBU mask cracked at the mouth before the rock morphed into a glum downward turn, this sullen expression etched itself into the clones mask making small fissures through it. I heard myself growl in anger at the reappeared frown that I had hoped to wipe off the last enemies face. Oh well this will have to do.
Dust caked my face, I had been thrown back by Hinata's attack. I hadn't been prepared for the power behind the hit and I was unfortunate enough to substitute with a clone that was still too close to not get affected. I'd have to give a talking to them later. Right now though I had bigger problems. As I flew through the air that bitch Akatsuki member had appeared in front of me, I don't know how but she seemed to have gotten away from Hinata's attack with little to no injuries. Her talons grabbed onto my arm and she flung me at a tree with enough force to rival Sakura's. The tree seemed to agree with my astute observation as it decided not to stop me from crashing through it. The next tree decide much the same, as did the next and the one after that as well, I finally swivelled in mid-air and applied chakra to my hands before sticking them to a nearby branch. I swung down from the tree and into a small clearing. Where, to my annoyance, the red head with the red clouds was waiting patiently for me.
She had spread herself against a mossy log, at some point she had repositioned her Akatsuki cloak to be tied round her waist. This gave Naruto a full view of what she was wearing which was actually quite pointless as she was naked beneath her cloak apart from an amethyst gem that was suspended from a piece of black string. Lodged in her navel was a white Akatsuki ring that had the Kanji for shine on it, it stood out in the tanned stomach like a petal on the surface of water. She smiled maliciously when I started at her appearance, I could feel my face heating slightly as her breasts moved with her breathing. "Yes they are nice aren't they?" She said cupping them with her hands and pushing them up slightly. That sing song voice was back, I could feel myself pulled in by its allure. For some reason my eyes fixated on her blood red hair and the strange feeling of attraction dissipated to nothing. I looked down at her face which was now sporting an ugly rage-filled expression. "You Konoha-nins are so annoying; you all have the irritating yearning to not give in. But I suppose you'd call that the "Will of Fire" wouldn't you? Well I call it stubborn obnoxiousness, always thinking there's a way for you to win." I was getting more angry by the second. This bitch was definitely going to die.
Well that's all folks. You'll find out what happens to each of them next time.
Jutsu:
Tsuinpurinsesu no jutsu- Twin Princesses Jutsu: Developed by Hinata during her time as a jonin, it is an expansion on the Twin lion fist jutsu. The effect of it is to pump an extreme amount of chakra into your opponent's system which will not only cause a lot of duress and pressure on the body but would also pop and destroy most, if not all, chakra points, most likely resulting in your opponent either dying or being unable to move. This jutsu demands that you must have perfect chakra control and a large reservoir, the user must also be very used to releasing blasts of chakra from points around the body. Al though this is not a jutsu restricted to a certain kekkegenkai it has been added to the Hyuga Secret jutsu list.
Doton: Shindo rei no jutsu- Earth style: Tremor Ghosts jutsu: Originally developed by the Inuzuka clan as a tracking jutsu. This jutsu that allows the user, preferably a Doton wielder, to sink their hands into any mineral based surface and amplify the vibrations in the earth. Most used to find large animals. This jutsu is not guarded by the Inuzuka clan and is most frequently used by hunter-nin.
