She woke to the sound of her alarm going off against the sheets, its white light illuminating through the darkness of the small room. The young girl squinted and reached for her phone, pressing on the screen multi-times in an attempt to dismiss the noisy chime. Once silent she unplugged the plastic from its charger, grasping it tightly in the palm of her hand as she rolled over to stare at the wall.

She waited until her phone rang again and quickly answered it, listening carefully to the breathing that lied on the other end. A smile played on the delicate features of her face as she closed her eyes, managing a low but audible growl into the receiver.

It was 5:45 in the morning, and even though the young Hyuuga would have been rather upset to wake to anyone else this seemed to calm her. She was speaking to her girlfriend, Tayuya, her friend of five years. They had recently started dating and the older redhead brought her immense happiness, more than she could ever know.

She whispered into the receiver and the two mindlessly chatted away, talking of insignificant things, but even so Hinata was joyful to know her love thought of her even at this hour. Time passed and soon they hung up and she thought it best to start on her morning routine. The pale girl hoisted herself up out of bed and stripped herself of her clothing as she ran to the bathroom, quickly starting the shower. After a few moments of preparing the water she stepped into the tub and relaxed under the showerhead, the hot wetness soothing her. On a morning like this she was ready to start her day, only because she had gotten to hear Tayuya's lovely voice before anyone else's.

The shower had taken all but twenty minutes, and she was fairly quick to dress herself. There was an hour left before her ride would come to pick her up and take her to school, so she had time to spare.

She grabbed at her sketch book and some utensils and went to a blank page. Night's before when the two had been talking she had attempted to draw the redhead, but to her dismay she couldn't get the female right, and gave up with a sigh of frustration. Their one month was coming up, and even though she wasn't sure if Tayuya was planning anything she wanted to do something special, to show the girl just how much she cared.

The idea was to draw a portrait of the two of them together with a loving expressing on both of their faces, but the drawing deemed itself difficult. Hinata had wasted many pieces of paper trying to get the shape of their heads or their bodily structures, even their facial expression had all been wrong. With only three days left until the big day she needed to come up with something, and fast, before she allowed the opportunity to pass her up.

The Hyuuga had been sketching for at least ten minutes when she decided she had had enough, and picked up her phone, dialing in Tayuya's number. At this point she was determined to hear her voice once more before her ride came and picked her up, so as the older girl answered she again growled into the phone and broke out in a laugh at how silly they both seemed.

They talked again as the young female flipped through channel after channel on her TV. The time seemed to pass faster when she was talking with her love, and soon she found herself saying her goodbye's as she rushed out the door to the car that waited for her, that same delicate smile playing with the pale features of her face. Every time they spoke it gave Hinata that courage to get her through the day, something to look forward too after all her hard work. Tayuya made her days' worth while, and she hoped the older redhead felt the same.
