Rivalry
His little Bulbasaur had grown into this powerful being.
He was magnificent in every way possible to. Indestructible.
Until Alfred had come in with his Charmander, demanding a battle that ended in a tie.
That day was the day Arthur swore he'd be the very best, so that Alfred could never be. So he could never win.
And, unbeknownst to Arthur, Alfred had sworn that very thing too. Their rivalry had began, and ties was all it became; after two years of meeting up and battling, they both grew weary of all the ties, deciding to get other rivals.
Yeah, this wasn't what I really wanted to post, but it was way to long. I hate the hundred word restrictions. But hey! In six chapters I'm going to release a thousand word chapter with the perfect Al and Art. The song for this one is Holier than Thou, by Metallica. Faith, it so long to find a fitting song, and that song was crap, so I stuck with Metallica.
