43. Endangered
"I don't know what to do, Yagyuu," Niou cried, his spoon sitting helplessly in the tub of ice cream. Yagyuu sat in his chair, an empty bowl of ice cream on the desk, as he watched Niou. "I don't think he'll ever forgive me, even though I tried to tell him she forced herself on me! He knows how crazy some of these girls are. I mean some of them are really cool, like Gou who tells me when the candy shops get new stuff so I can buy something for Marui but this girl just threw herself at me."
"Did you try telling him this?" Yagyuu questioned.
Niou nodded, "Of course I did! You were there when he was throwing tennis balls at me."
"No I mean-" Yagyuu let out a frustrated sound before pushing his glasses up. "Marui doesn't really think well when he's angry. Now that he's not so...angry and more hurt then anything, have you tried talking to him? I'm sure he'd be more willing to listen now."
Niou pursed his lips before shaking his head, "He won't talk to me."
"Niou, you're not going to give up on him just because of that right? Just talk to him, make him listen."
He looked down at the tub before saying, "Can I finish this first?"
Yagyuu sighed, "If you insist on eating all my ice cream."
