This is the twenty-first chapter! Yay! Read author's note at end please!
Recap: "My father is a king," I say, "I'm a princess. If you think this is the end, then you are crazier than me. That little scene you all saw was a warning. My dad never plays fair. Yes, Midnight stopped him from hitting me, but he didn't stop what is coming. Midnight said he'd come back, and that just proves my point. He will have armies coming after me. He will stop at nothing. Until the day he dies."
"Then we'll fight!" Natsu says.
"I agree!" Gray says.
"Aye!" Happy agrees.
"I was already planning on it," I tell them, "The question is: Who wants to help the princess of the western regions overthrow her father and become leader of the land? Of course, we live in the western region so it's up to you. Gosh, this sounds like a Barbie movie waiting to happen!"
"I'll fight," Loki says, "I knew you were a princess."
"And I knew you were a moron, but do you see me telling everyone? No!" I say smiling. Even though deep inside, I want to cry.
"I'll fight for my daughter," Erza says.
"I'll fight with you Lucy," Lisanna says.
"Juvia will fight with Lucy and Gray-sama," Juvia says.
"I'll fight with my sister," Mirajane says.
"I'll fight with my sisters," Elfman says.
"I'll fight for my children," Gramps says.
Everyone, even Laxus, agreed to fight, but is this what we should do?
Chapter 21!
Lucy's P.O.V,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" we all yell to Gray. This year his party's at the school. Never been so glad to be at school! Even though his birthday was a few days ago, we waited until today, Saturday, to have his party. Plus it gets my mind off my father and all this other bullshit. I will admit I was wrong though. No one treats me different like I thought they would.
"PRESENT TIME!" Juvia shouts excited.
His presents were:
Natsu as a piñata (from me)
A bottle of whiskey (Cana)
A picture from of all the memories Juvia and him have together (Juvia)
His pants on fire (Natsu)
And a fish (Happy)
That's all he got though. He told Juvia she got him the best one, but we all know he loves mine way better than some pictures. Note to self, get Natsu a doctor. With as hard as Gray was swinging that baseball bat, he most likely has a concussion.
"Walk with me," I hear from behind me. I turn to see Loki.
"Okay," I say with a smile. We walk outside and sit on the big wall. At first there's nothing but silence.
Until finally he says, "We haven't really got to spend time with each other since you told everyone your past."
"That's true," I say, "What did you want?"
"You."
"E-excuse me!?" my face had to be red.
"Lucy, I really like you," he says, "Hell, I might even love you."
"W-what even brought this on," I ask.
"I had dream last night," he says, "We were smiling. You kiss me, and we were holding hands in this beautiful rose garden. Then I realized how much I wanted that. I realized how much I need you by my side."
I smile with tears in my eyes. I wrap my arms around his neck.
"Then what are you waiting for?" I ask, "Make me yours."
With those words his lips were on mine. I felt how much he wanted those things. How much he wanted me. I sent it all back to him. I want this too. I've really fallen for him. I sent that to him through our lips. He pulls away and smiles. Then he rests his forehead on mine.
"How's your brother's going to react?" he asks. I chuckle.
"They are going to kill you in your sleep."
We just laugh.
"Do you even care?" he asks jokingly.
"I can always go to your funeral."
"You're not helping," he says laughing.
"I usually don't help the walking dead," I laugh with him. He grabs my hand and rolls his eyes.
"So we're official?" he asks.
"Yeah," I say, "We are."
"YOU DID WHAT AT MY PARTY!?" Gray yells. Well, it's Sunday. We just got out of jail because apparently it's wrong to steal a cop car while being drunk and under eighteen. It's not my fault that we decided to play truth or dare. Anyway, Loki and I just told the family.
"We decided to date," I say.
"Let me get this straight," Natsu says then turns to Loki, "YOU SEDUCED MY LITTLE SISTER!?"
"No," Loki says, "I asked her out like a gentleman."
"That's it," Gray and Natsu says together, "YOU ARE DEAD LION BOY!"
"See ya!" Loki says and kisses my cheek before running out the open front door. The boys run after him.
I turn to Erza and Jellal, "Is it sad that I'm not even shocked by this?"
"Yes," Erza says.
"Just making sure," I say, "Well I'll be in my room." I walk upstairs with a smile on my face.
Dear mommy,
Everything turned out alright. No one's treating me different, and Loki finally asked me out officially! We're now officially boyfriend and girlfriend! I miss you, mommy. I'm tired so I'm not gonna write all that much tonight. I love you.

Just as I set my pencil down, I hear a knock at my door.
"Come in!" I say.
Natsu, Gray, and Happy walk in.
"You guys mad at me?" I ask and sit on the bed.
"No," Natsu says.
"We just like scaring Loki," Gray says with a smirk.
"Aye!" Happy agrees.
They sit on my bed.
"So you approve?" I ask.
"Of course," Gray says.
"He doesn't try to make you do things that you don't want to do," Natsu says, "Plus he came to talk to us before he asked you out."
"Did he really?"
"Of course," Gray says, "He didn't want to die early." I laugh.
"Look, Lucy," Natsu says, "We just wanted your happiness, and if it's Loki giving you happiness, then who are we to take that from you? We love you, you weirdo."
I smile and hug them.
"But," Natsu starts.
"If he ever hurts you," Gray says.
"We will hunt him down and bury him alive," they say together.
I laugh. Then I smile. Who cares if Father takes me away? As long as I have memories like this, I'll be able to face anything. Anything.
