Sorry it took so long for this update, I had major writers block after all the TVD fuckery and then the website just wouldn't let me update anything. I also wanted to let you guys know that at first I intended on going completely AU with this but I think I'm going keep it canon in some parts and AU in others. But here's the latest, enjoy!

Side note: since Qetisyah was casted in canon she's now Janina Gavankar in this fic as well.

Call it her supernatural abilities or maybe something a little less complex like the fact that she's known him since they were in diapers. Bonnie saw Matt coming before she actually saw him. She grabbed her calculus book for seventh period when he rounded the corner. Bonnie chuckled inwardly because she could tell from the forehead wrinkles he was desperately trying to hide that he was worried. She tucked her binder under her arm while catching the notebook that was seconds away from falling with her free hand. She shifted a little when the smell of spice filled her nostrils, it was all Matt Donavan.

"Matt" she smiled not looking at him "Are you ok? You look worried."

Matt raised a brow. "How can you tell, you haven't even looked at me yet."

Bonnie chuckled grabbing her purple notebook "Matt please, did you forget who you were talking to? I don't have to look at you in order to get a read on your emotions." She finally looked at him "Even if I saw you coming before you remembered you left your calculus book in my car." She handed him the book while giving him a sly smile.

Matt rolled his eyes but smiled anyway. He hated when she did that. "Thanks." Pause "How are you doing? I mean after the whole" Matt looked around for what Bonnie didn't know "sacrifice thing."

Bonnie shrugged "I'm good I don't remember any of it, thankfully."

"You don't have to lie to me Bon, I know it sucks that you don't remember anything. I mean you were starting to cope with Jeremy's death and now – "

Bonnie slammed her locker shut "I said I'm fine matt, that wasn't an invitation for you to give me a list of reasons why I won't be in the next ten seconds."

Matt sighed "I'm sorry, I'm just worried about you, Caroline said–"

Bonnie shook her head "Caroline is running on adrenaline and paranoia, I suggest you take what she says with a quart of salt."

"And you're not worried about that? I mean Caroline is a lot of things but she's not a killer." He said walking side by side with Bonnie to Ms. Turner's class.

Bonnie snorted "This isn't the first time she killed and because of what she is, it won't be the last."

Matt stopped Bonnie from entering the class by grabbing her arm "This is Caroline, Bon not Damon, Stefan or Klaus for that matter."

Bonnie's face went blank, she hated how decent and yet so gullible Matt was. Which meant his death certificate was practically signed and ready to be delivered. She could relate, since finding out she was a witch hers has been propped on the mantle for almost two years now.

Bonnie kissed Matt on the cheek not saying a word. She didn't have to, Matt heard her loud and clear.

"Any luck?"

Damon didn't bother looking over his shoulder because he knew his brother well enough to know that he was leaning in the door way with his arms crossed and his forehead brooding.

"If you're wondering if I found Elena and her side kick then the answer is yes, but if you're wondering if I found Katherine." He finally spared his brother a glance "What do you think?"

Stefan licked his teeth and remained quiet not at all surprised to hear this.

"We need help, so you need to call the witch and get her to do a locator spell." This got Stefan's attention.

Damon watched as Stefan shook his head "What do you mean, No?"

Stefan raised a brow "What part of the head shake didn't you understand or do you need me to say it out loud in Spanish?"

Damon scoffed "Unbelievable, Elena needs -"

"What Elena needs is not on Bonnie's priority list. Did you seriously think I was kidding back there when I told you this?"

Damon licked his teeth and shrugged, honestly he did. Bonnie was many things but selfish wasn't one of them. "Not too long ago she was willing to go to hell and back for Elena, she even sentenced her grandwitch to a life of hell, fire and brimstone. Are you seriously telling me she decided to learn from her mistakes now? Talk about bad timing. " He finished his eyes going all big and wide.

Stefan just blinked at Damon.

"What?"

"Are you seriously blaming Bonnie for this?"

Damon shrugged "Well it's not my fault, I didn't ask her to save me."

"She didn't do it to save you; she did it save everyone that's connected to Klaus' bloodline which includes, her mother the same mother we turned by the way, Caroline, Tyler and now Elena."

Damon clenched his teeth, he was tired of people throwing what he did to Abby in his face "First of all Bonnie barely knew Abby and if it came down to Abby and Bonnie again, know this little brother I will always choose Bonnie."

Well damn Stefan thought he didn't expect that little confession from Damon. For his part Damon could see the wheels turning in Stefan's head and he rolled his eyes walking over to the bar for a refill.

"Whatever you're thinking, stop Bonnie is the only one whose willing to play the good little witch long enough to get the job done."

Stefan snorted "You're unbelievable, Damon after everything -"

Damon interrupted before Stefan could continue his tirade "And you're whining to me about the fucking witch. What the hell is wrong with you Stefan?" Pause "Elena needs us, that's our priority, that's what we should be focused on."

Stefan shook his head "No, Elena is your problem remember. I told you I was going to help you get her the cure after we turned her humanity back on, even though it was your dumb ass idea to get her to turn it off in the first place. Once she flips the switch back on I'm done."

Damon stared at Stefan anew. Stefan, much like him talked a good game about leaving the petrova women to their own devices and yet they never moved an inch in the opposite direction, but this was something different. Stefan actually looked like he meant it.

"What the hell happened when we were in New York?" Damon narrowed his eyes.

Honestly he didn't know what the hell happened? "We'll find another way to help Elena." Stefan said and flashed out of the room before Damon was able to question him further.

Elena walked into the room raising a quizzical eyebrow at him before rolling her eyes. "We don't need her. Correction, I don't need her."

Damon's eyes snapped in her direction "Yea, well I happen to know different."

Elena scoffed "Just like you knew that it would best if I turned it off."

He had to admit that wasn't one of his brightest ideas. "Elena you're getting the cure, even if I have to snap your neck and shove it down your throat myself."

Elena smirked looking every bit of Katherine "You and I both know that you're full of it. Admit it Damon you like me just fine this way" she squinted and placed her index finger on the tip of her chin "or maybe you prefer you're Elena a little more obedient and docile." she said now standing in front of him "Well if that's the case, your out of luck because that Elena is long gone and I have no one to thank for that but you." and with that she was gone.

Damon gritted his teeth snatching up his phone off the table he pressed three on the speed dial and waited. "Hey, you've reached Bonnie Bennett sorry I couldn't get to the phone right now but leave your name, number and message and I'll be sure to return your call at my earliest convenience."

Damon cursed lowly before jamming his phone in his pocket and speeding out the front door.

Bonnie looked at her phone before turning it off completely.

"How many times is that now? Three?"

Bonnie side stepped Lucy and unlocked her front door. "Nice to see you too, I'm well and yourself!?"

Lucy rolled her eyes and followed bonnie inside, "So I guess you're still a little upset about me not –"

Bonnie gave a tight smile "Why would I be upset with the one person who could've had my back when I didn't know what the hell I was doing? or, the one person who could've slapped some sense into me instead of crowning me as "one of the good ones" Bonnie shook her head, grabbing a glass and filling it with water "So to answer your question, no, I'm not upset with you."

Lucy flinched at every word Bonnie said, she knew Bonnie had a chip on her shoulder but she didn't think she would be the cause of the chip. "You are one of the good ones Bonnie, besides you didn't know me I was a complete stranger"

Bonnie's jaw ticked before draining her glass "You weren't a stranger Lucy, you were my fucking FAMILY."

"That's enough."

Bonnie and Lucy turned their attention to the figure that appeared out of nowhere. Qetsiyah eyed the young witches in the kitchen before entering fully. "I will not have you argue amongst each other, you are family and family comes before all others." She said with a lift of her chin and the grace that was well practiced.

Bonnie scoffed. Yea, can I have that in writing? She thought.

"Watch your mouth, Bonnie." Qetsiyah said glaring angrily at her progeny.

Bonnie's eyes widen but nodded obediently. She didn't know how the hell she did it, but Bonnie filed into memory that her thoughts apparently were no longer her own.

"Lucy, you've been informed of our plans and you now know the situation requires your presences in Mystic falls, do you not?"

Lucy nodded "I'm staying with Abby" She chanced a look at Bonnie. "At Sheila' old house."

Bonnie cleared her throat "My mom's still here?" she asked gaining the attention of the two older witches.

Lucy frowned upon hearing that "Where else would she be?"

"Anywhere I'm not." Bonnie said walking out of the kitchen when she heard a knock at her front door.

Bonnie swung open her front door without checking to see who it was. She was only mildly surprised to see Damon standing on the other side. He was always one to never take a hint "What?" she asked crossing her arms over her chest.

Damon raised a brow "You would've known what if you would've answered your phone, medusa."

Bonnie rolled her eyes "And when I didn't answer the phone, you didn't catch the hint because…" she trailed off waving a hand.

Damon rolled his eyes "Look, Elena—"

"Is not my concern, you're the Einstein who told her to turn it off instead of letting her deal with her shit like a big girl. You did it, you fix it."

She moved to slam the door in his face but Damon grabbed it and pushed it back open "Look witch—"

"No, you look, my daughter is done helping Elena Gilbert. Now, Leave."

Damon turned around to see an angry Abby Bennett standing behind him. "Well well well, did someone finally decide to be a good mother for once and play house with the daughter she abandoned?" He smirked when the veins under Abby's eyes started to appear.

"Leave Damon or I'll remove you from the premises myself."

Damon turned his attention to the Bennett house when he heard a voice he hadn't heard in quite some time. What the hell's going on? "Lucy, Is there a witch convention that I didn't know about" He looked between all three Bennett women "Are we planning world domination?" he mocked.

His comment earned a smirk from all the Bennett women including Bonnie.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Lucy smiled tightly but mentally deciding he would die first.

Abby grabbed Damon by the throat and removed him out of her way like he weighed nothing before walking into the house.

Damon's eyes widen in shock for only a second before recovering. He made a threatening step towards the house but saw that he couldn't move.

He looked up to meet the angry eyes of Bonnie Bennett. "You don't seem to understand the concept of the word leave so let me clarify them for you. I am no longer your hired help. You want shit done, you find a witch who you didn't screw over to do your bidding for you."

"Good luck with that by the way." Lucy added who was now standing next to bonnie.

Damon stared at Bonnie for a second to long before speaking "Are you still brainwashed? Is that what this is?"

Bonnie laughed bitterly "Wow, I have to be brainwash for me to realize what kind of idiot I was to allow you to use me as your pocket witch without so much of a high five for my efforts. "

"That's not what I meant and you know it." This was taking a turn, Damon thought to himself.

Bonnie shook her head "At least not when I'm standing in front of you, right? All the shit you talk is usually behind closed doors or atleast to anyone that isn't me."

Damon opened his mouth to refute that and closed it when he realized he couldn't.

Bonnie shook her head turning to go back into the house. "Yea, I thought so and by the way Damon," she didn't continue until she had his full attention "I'm still waiting for that lasagna."

All Damon could remember when waking up was Bonnie's door being slammed along with a whole bunch of other witchy juju shit that left a bad taste in his mouth. No, really there was bad taste in his mouth like he could taste his burnt flesh.

Damon sat up and looked around noticing for the first time that he was sprawled out on the floor of the boarding house. "What the hell did the little witch do to me?"

"That was uncalled for." Bonnie folded her arms over her chest.

Qetsiyah tilted her head to the side "He disrespected your power, your name and everything we stand for as Bennett witches he's lucky he still has his life."

Alright, she flinched a little at the hardness of her tone. Damon deserved everything he had coming to him. But, Bonnie looked up when she felt the heat of Qetsiyah's glare.

Reading her thoughts no doubt

"He wants me to kill Katherine?" Bonnie changed the subject

"What's the problem?" Lucy blinked not finding seeing the problem.

"He wants me to kill Katherine." Bonnie repeated

"You're right I probably should be the one to do it, I still owe the bitch one anyway. " Lucy nodded

"Katherine has the cure and Silas knows it." Qetsiyah said ignoring Lucy.

Bonnie rubbed her temples "I'm so sick of this cure, Elena doesn't even want it."

"Good, she wasn't going to get it anyway."

Bonnie's eyes snapped up to Qetsiyah "So then why are we even bothering to look for it?" she said closing her eyes mentally kicking herself. This whole 'not risking it all for Elena Gilbert' was still kind of new.

"He wants to turn human again so he can die and be reunited with his one true love." Qetsiyah confessed.

Abby shrugged not seeing the problem "Then why don't we give him what he wants then."

"After everything Silas has done the last thing he deserves is a happily ever after, he will die but he will die on our terms."

Bonnie and Lucy looked at each other both thinking the same thing but it was Lucy who asked out loud "What happened between you? I mean I know what happened, but I feel like were missing something."

Qetisyah remained silent. They were missing something but she wasn't going to tell them what, at least not yet. "Katherine's in Barbados, but she isn't alone."

Lucy scoffed not at all surprised "Of course she isn't, so tell us, who is the poor sap?"

Qetisyah looked between the witches "Elijah Mikaelson."

Bonnie sighed heavily and sat down hard in the chair next to the door, the last thing she wanted to do was to deal with another original "Well, I didn't see that one coming."

Ayana walked closer to Emily and a pacing Sheila "She needs to know the truth and the longer we prolong this the worse the situation is going to get."

Emily nodded in agreement

Sheila stopped pacing "It's Damon Salvatore," she looked between her ancestors as if they've lost their minds "Emily you gave him one job to do and that was to keep this family safe and look what happened."

"I knew he would be the one to help break the curse on our family, I knew Bonnie would be the only one to survive —"

Sheila's eyes flashed angrily "We both know that's not entirely true now don't we."

All three women turned their attention back to the conversation at Bonnie's house, dreading the next few months and what that meant for Bonnie.

A/N: That's the latest. By now some of you may know where I'm going with this but if you don't you're in for treat (atleast I hope lol), drop me a line and let me know what you think.
