Chapter 13: The Legend of Zelda

"Uchiha… Obito…?" Naruto asked.

"Mm-hmm. That's me. I take it that Kakashi's told you about me?" Obito said.

"Nope." Naruto simply stated.

"Was I really that little to him?" Obito asked no one in particular as he got depressed.

"Umm… Are you all right?" Naruto asked.

"Right. Now where was I?" Obito asked as he shot back to his feet, causing Naruto to jump backwards a little.

"You said told me your name." Naruto reminded him.

"Right. Now, Naruto-san, I would like you to come with me." Obito said as he held out his hand.

"Why?" Naruto asked.

""Why"? There's something important that I've got to show you; you and your teammates that is." Obito said.

"Really? And what's that?" Naruto asked.

"It's got something to do with the Triforce. As well as how its three pieces came to the three of you." Obito said.

"Very well." Naruto said before he grabbed Obito's hand, and before he realized what was happening, he seemed to be sucked into Obito's visible eye.

"Now then. That leaves only Sasuke-san left." Obito said.

Kamui Dimension

Naruto suddenly appeared in the weirdest place ever. There weren't any visible ground there, instead there was these squared columns rising up from the bottom of a black abyss. Some columns were also taller than others. Aside from the columns, however, he couldn't see anything but a black abyss surrounding him.

"Naruto!" Naruto turned towards the voice to see none other than Sakura.

"Sakura-chan!" He exclaimed before leaping over to her "You're here too?"

"Hai. Obito-san came when I was in the library, and then he brought me here." Sakura said.

"What were you doing in the library?" Naruto asked.

"Nayru-sama told me to look for the Book of Mudora, so I figured that the library would be a good place to start." Sakura answered.

"Mm-hmm. So do you know where this place is?" Naruto asked as he looked around.

"No idea. Though I think Obito-san used some kind of space-time Ninjutsu on us to transport us here. And seeing as who he brought here, I'm guessing that Sasuke-kun will join us soon." Sakura said.

On a mountain outside the village

On a rocky mountain a while away from the village were Kakashi currently training Sasuke… or at least he was about to train him.

"Why'd you bring me all the way out here?" Sasuke asked.

"Well, basically it's so that no one can get in the way of your training." Kakashi said before pulling out a slip of paper "Now then, I want you to start by channeling your chakra through this."

"Chakra paper? I don't need that, I already know what affinity I have." Sasuke said.

"That's true, but we won't really know until we try. Besides, there are a lot of people out there born with two affinities; especially within clans." Kakashi said before handing the slip over to Sasuke "Just try it."

"Fine." Sasuke said before taking the slip and channeling his chakra through it. His eyes then widened slightly as the paper wrinkled before burning to a crisp.

"Hmm… Seems you've got two affinities after all. Fire and lightning. This is good. It'll grant you an advantage in both your first and third fights." Kakashi said.

"How so?" Sasuke asked.

"Well, in your first fight, you'll be up against Ventus. Your fire would grant you a huge advantage against his wind. In your third fight, you'll either face Gaara or Terra, both being powerful earth-type users, so your lightning affinity will be of much help." Kakashi said.

"I see…" Sasuke said.

"But remember Sasuke, I don't want you to fight, thinking on the next battle. I want you to fight all of your battle as if it were your last." Kakashi said before adding "Now then, first we'll…"

He stopped talking when he sensed a familiar, yet unknown chakra.

'This chakra… It can't be…!' He thought before looking towards where the person the chakra belonged to was, and his visible eye widened as Sasuke also looked in that direction.

"It's been a while, hasn't it, Kakashi?" Obito said.

"Obito?" Kakashi said in surprise.

'Obito?' Sasuke thought.

"How can you…? How are you…? I thought you were…" Kakashi said.

"… Dead? We have something in common, then. I also thought that I was dead, but Farore-sama saved me." Obito said.

"Obito, I'm sorry, I couldn't…" Kakashi started, but Obito cut him off.

"I already know about what happened to Rin, as well as all of the events surrounding her death. So don't worry about it, I know that there's nothing you could've done." Obito said before looking at Sasuke "Now for the reason of why I'm here."

"Sasuke-san, I need you to come with me for a bit." Obito said as he held out his hand.

"Why?" Sasuke asked.

"Because there's something that I need to tell you." Obito said.

"Can't it wait? I need to train for the finals." Sasuke asked.

"No, it can't. Besides, it won't take long. And you might even learn something that could help you out in the finals." Obito said.

"Hmph. Fine." Sasuke said before he took Obito's hand, and suddenly it looked like they were both sucked into Obito's visible eye.

Kamui Dimension

Something that looked like a whirlpool of air suddenly appeared before Obito and Sasuke came out of it as it vanished.

"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura said as she leapt over to where the two Uchiha were standing, soon followed by Naruto.

"Huh? Sakura? Naruto?" Sasuke said, not having expected to see the two of them there.

"All right, Obito, what's the big deal here? What is this place?" Naruto asked, not bothering with adding the suffix.

"This place is another dimension which is linked with my eyes, and my eyes only." Obito said.

"Okay, so why did you bring us here?" Naruto asked.

"I've already told you that, haven't I? I'm going to tell you about some of the many legends surrounding the Triforce." Obito said before holding out his hand "Now, all of you grab onto my hand."

"And you think that we're just gonna trust you like that?" Naruto asked, but both he and Sakura were taken off-guard when Sasuke took the man's hand.

"Naruto, I think we can trust him." He said.

"If Sasuke-kun says that, then that means that he can be trusted." Sakura said as she also took Obito's hand.

"Well?" Obito asked as he looked at Naruto.

"I don't have time for this, I need to find a teacher to train me for the finals." Naruto said.

"If you're in need of a teacher, Naruto-san. I would be happy to help you with that." Obito said before looking over the three Genin as he continued "But first, there is something I need to tell you all."

"Well, why didn't you say so earlier?" Naruto asked as he also took Obito's hand, and then the four of them were all sucked into Obito's right eye.

Unknown location

They appeared in a large round room. The room was quite dark, and on the floor in the middle was there a circle. Though there didn't seem to be anything else in the room at all.

"Where are we?" Sakura asked.

"That is not for you to know." Obito said as he walked over to the circle "Now, I want you all to come over here."

The three Genin all followed his instructions and walked over to him, and as soon as they all had gotten within the circle, a blue crystal suddenly appeared around them before spinning wildly and vanishing with the four of them still in it.

Temple of Time

The crystal suddenly appeared in a wide room before it stopped spinning and vanished, leaving three dizzy Genin and one perfectly fine Obito.

"Wh-where are we?" Naruto asked as he managed to knock himself out of the dizziness and looked around.

The room had a rectangular form, and looked a lot like the part of his mindscape which Farore had brought him to earlier. However, there were a few things that he didn't notice when he was in his mindscape; for instance there were columns which were going in two straight lines across the room. And beyond the columns on both sides were windows which looked like those you'd find in a church.

"This here's the Temple of Time from ages past." Obito said.

""From ages past"? Wait, are you saying that…?" Sakura asked, and Obito nodded.

"Exactly. Right now we're in the distant past." He said.

"Obito-san, why'd you bring us here?" Sakura asked.

"Like I said before; so that you could learn more about the legends surrounding the Triforce." Obito said before walking past the columns on the left side of the room, and towards the window which was the closest to the door as the others followed him.

On the window there was an image of a woman with long, blond hair, and she also wore a yellow dress. She was holding a sword with a blue hilt and white blade skywards in her right hand, and in her left hand, she had a golden harp. At the top of the window was the Triforce, shining light over the world.

"She's beautiful." Sakura said.

"Her name's Hylia. She was the one who was ordered to guard the Triforce while the 3 Golden Goddesses were away." Obito said.

"Hylia… I feel like I've heard that name somewhere before…" Sakura said in thought before remembering that it's what Nayru had been calling her "Wait! That's what Nayru-sama called me."

"Really?" Naruto asked.

"There's a good reason for that. You see, as word spread around the world about a "Golden Pyramid" that could grant whoever touched it whatever wish they desired, many brave people set out to find it. Some with noble cause… some with dark intentions. One of which having very dark intentions." Obito said.

"Who was that?" Sasuke asked.

"Moving on…" Obito said as he walked over to the next window, seemingly ignoring Sasuke's question.

If the previous window showed heaven, then this one showed hell. On the window was an image of a demonic person, with flaring red hair, and black, scale-like skin. He was standing on what appeared to be dead Hylian bodies. And behind him were legions of monsters. The sky was also a bloody red color.

"Sasuke-san, you were asking who it was that had very bad intentions? Well, here's your answer." Obito said.

"Who-what is that?" Sakura asked.

"Demise, one of the Seven Great Demon Lords." Obito said.

"Demise…" Sasuke said in thought as though he'd heard the name somewhere before.

"Demise attempted to seize the Triforce by force, and declared war on everyone standing in his way. Hoping for the safety of her people, Hylia hid the Triforce beneath the ground before sending a piece of land with many of her people on it into the sky, sealing them off from the world below along with the Triforce. Then – along with a thousand of her followers – she confronted Demise and his army, but since she couldn't kill the Demon Lord, she sealed him beneath the ground." Obito explained.

"Why couldn't she kill him? She was a Goddess, wasn't she?" Sakura asked.

"Yes, she was. But even amongst the Demon Lords, Demise was considered to be extremely powerful, and in the end was even too powerful for even Hylia to kill. So, she decided to seal him, for then to use the Triforce to kill him. But, there was a catch." Obito said.

"What was the catch?" Naruto asked.

"A Goddess can't use the Triforce. So she had to turn herself mortal, and become reborn as a Hylian." Obito said, shocking the three Genin.

"A Goddess turned into a Hylian?" Sakura asked.

"That's right." Obito said as he moved over to the next window with the three following him.

On the third window there was an image of a green-clad person that was holding a sword skywards. The sword had a blue hilt and a shining white blade. And in the background at the bottom was what appeared to be the land; there was a forest, a desert, and a volcano. Above that was what appeared to be the sky which had a lot of large birds flying around, as well as countless of islands that appeared to be floating in mid-air. And at the very top of the window was the Triforce.

"A few thousand years later, Hylia was finally reborn as a mortal Hylian named Zelda. However, around the same time, Demise's seal started weakening, and his dark influence spread across the land in the form of monsters. Then – after Zelda had turned 17 – Demise pulled her down from the sky, but a childhood friend of Zelda's followed after her. And after forging the Master Sword, and finding all three pieces of the Triforce, he used the Triforce to bring the floating islands back down to the ground before facing Demise and killing him. But before he died, Demise warned that his spirit would live on, and one day he'd return." Obito said.

"So a Goddess couldn't kill him, but a Hylian could?" Naruto asked skeptically.

"Yes, I don't quite understand it either. Farore-sama never explained it to me." Obito said before continuing the story "The Hylians decided to settle back on the surface where they then formed the Kingdom of Hyrule, but there were one small problem. Monsters still roamed the land. However, one day, a gate to another world opened."

""Another world"?" Naruto asked.

"Hai. It was the world of a race of tiny people called the Minish. The Minish came forth from the gate, and gave the Hylians a sacred sword called the Picori Blade. And with the power of this blade, a hero sealed all of the monsters within a chest." Obito said before moving on to the next window.

On the next window was an image of a green-clad Hylian, holding a sword with a yellow hilt and a white blade in his left hand and a shield in the right, and on his head was a weird cap which head eyes and a bird-like beak. The Hylian was standing so that he looked in the direction which would be left for whoever would look at the window. In front of him, and behind him were four swords in total; the ones in front of him having a green hilt, and a purple hilt respectively, and the ones behind him having a red hilt and a blue hilt respectively. Beneath each of the swords were different symbols in the same color as the hilts.

"A thousand years later, a powerful Wind Sorcerer named Vaati appeared, and broke the blade, freeing all of the monsters before turning Princess Zelda – a direct descendant of the original Zelda – to stone. It was then up to a young boy named Link to find a way to re-forge the blade, and free her." Obito said before Naruto leaned in towards the window as he looked at the green symbol.

"What is it, Naruto?" Sakura asked.

"This symbol seems familiar." Naruto said before remembering where he'd seen it before, and he drew his blade "It's the same as this gem in my sword."

"That's right, Naruto-san. When Farore-sama re-forged the Hakko Chakura To, she put the Wind Element inside it." Obito said.

""The Wind Element"?" Sasuke asked.

"Well, in order to re-forge the Picori Blade, Link needed to find the Four Elements; Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. And he also needed the help of a Minish blacksmith. After all of this was over, the blade was renamed the Four Sword and Link went to face Vaati. Then, after a long and hard battle, Link won and freed Zelda from Vaati's curse." Obito explained before saying "But Vaati still wasn't completely defeated, although he was gone for a long time." They then walked over to the next window.

This window had the image of four identical people, only distinguishable by the different colors of their clothes. They each held a version of the Four Sword into the air with the blades crossing eachother near the tip. Above them was some kind of black shadowy demon which only had a round body with a large eye in the middle and two long arms coming out of its sides.

"A few centuries later, Vaati returned. However, his battle with Link had left him completely unrecognizable. Even his personality was erased, along with every bit of intelligence he ever had, making him no more than a vile beast." Obito said.

"So I take it that these guys stopped him?" Naruto asked.

"But why do they look so alike? Are they quadruplets?" Sakura asked.

"No, they're not. Upon Vaati's return, the princess and a childhood friend of hers went to check on the Four Sword Sanctuary, but that's when Vaati came and kidnapped the princess. Her childhood friend – who was surprisingly enough named Link – then drew the Four Sword, causing him to split into four people, each one carrying different aspects of the original's personality." Obito explained.

"Whoa. Imagine being split into four people. There'd be no limits to how many pranks I could've done." Naruto said before chuckling evilly.

"No thanks." Sasuke said.

"Yeah. One Naruto is more than enough." Sakura said before her inner self added "If there were four of Sasuke-kun on the other hand… heh heh heh…"

'Did they suddenly forget that he's got the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu?' Obito thought before saying "Anyway, the four Links eventually reached Vaati in his home, the Palace of Winds. There, they fought and beat him. However, they proved incapable of killing him, so they sealed him within the Four Sword before placing said sword back in the sanctuary where it belongs."

"Where is the Four Sword Sanctuary, anyway?" Sakura asked as she looked at Obito.

"In a secret place which only opens once a century." Obito said before moving on to the next window.

This window had the image of the Triforce on the top, and to the right and left of it were a total of six people of different races which seemed to be holding their hands in prayer. From the left to right, there were a Hylian, a Sheikah, a Kokiri, a Gerudo, a Zora, and a Goron. Below them were three people, one facing whoever would look at the window, one looking towards the left, and one looking towards the right. The one in the middle was a young man that was clad in green who had his eyes closed as he was playing a blue ocarina, the one looking to the left was a young woman with a royal presence to her, and the one looking to the right was seemingly a young man who was hiding his face behind a mask, and had his eyes closed as he was playing on a harp which was identical to the one that Hylia had held on the first window.

"These here would be the most iconic figures in all of the legends surrounding the Triforce." Obito said.

"The Six Sages…" Sakura said as she looked up at the six people at the top.

"What was that, Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked as he looked at the pinkette.

"I'm not sure, those words just popped into my head." Sakura said.

"The Six Sages were a group of six people – each of a different race – that watched over and protected the Sacred Realm where the Triforce had been hidden. The only entrance to this realm was through the Temple of Time which the Sage of Light, Rauru had built." Obito said.

"You said that these were the most iconic in all of the legends, right? So does that mean that they're the original wielders of the different Triforce pieces?" Sasuke asked.

"Well, you're half-right. The green-clad hero here is the original wielder of the Triforce of Courage, and the woman is the princess from the legend that you're referring to, but the last one, you won't find in any legend." Obito said before looking at Sakura and asked "Do you know why, Sakura-san?"

"It's because he and the Princess Zelda of the time were one and the same?" Sakura guessed.

"Precisely." Obito said with a smile, even showing an eye-smile similar to Kakashi's.

"Whoa! Sakura-chan, how'd you know that?" Naruto asked.

"I… I don't know… The information just popped into my head." Sakura said.

"I'm not surprised. You – as well as all of the princesses of Hyrule – are a direct descendant of Hylia." Obito said before continuing with the story "However, long before the Link of this time set out on his quest, there was a civil war in Hyrule. And one day, a lone Hylian woman from a noble family ran off to the forest with an infant in her arms. She then left the child in the care of the Great Deku Tree before dying from a wound that she'd received."

"A few years later, the King of Hyrule, Daphness Nohansen Hyrule united the kingdom, and brought about a new era of peace. However, it would not last as a man from the desert came to the king with proposals of an alliance. But Princess Zelda saw that there was an evil look in the man's eyes, and when Link appeared before her with the Spiritual Stone of the Forest; the Kokiri's Emerald, she sent the boy out to collect the Spiritual Stones of Fire and Water from the Goron and Zora tribes. However, when he returned to the Castle Town, he found the town to be under attack, and Zelda on the run." Obito said.

"As she left, Zelda left behind a blue ocarina called the Ocarina of Time, and with it, Link played the Song of Time in the Temple of Time to open the gate to the Master Sword which hadn't been used since the downfall of Demise. Link drew the blade, and for the next seven years was sealed away in a deep slumber by Rauru. However, just as the blade had been drawn, that also let the man from the desert, Ganondorf, get into the Sacred Realm, and once there, he touched the Triforce, however, that's when the ancient relic split in three, and you all know who the pieces came to." Obito said, and the three Genin nodded before he continued "Seven years later, Link finally woke up before exiting the Sacred Realm to find that the kingdom he had known seven years ago was gone, and now replaced by one ruled by Ganondorf. Link then went out to search for the remaining five Sages who'd all been trapped within their own temples by Ganondorf's minions."

"Wait a minute. Isn't Ganondorf the name of the current Tanikage?" Sasuke asked.

"You're right." Sakura said.

"Yes. The Godaime Tanikage was named after this same Ganondorf." Obito said.

"But what's the deal about Zelda and this masked guy being the same person?" Naruto asked.

"After the land had been taken over, Zelda couldn't just roam freely around it, so she decided to disguise herself as a male Sheikah, so that Ganondorf couldn't find her. However, she decided to reveal her identity to Link after he'd freed all of the Sages, but then Ganondorf found her, and used his powerful magic to entrap her within a crystal before teleporting her to his castle. Link then hurried to the castle, and faced off against Ganondorf on the top-floor before eventually winning the battle." Obito said.

"After the victory, however, the castle came crumbling down, and Link and Zelda had to get out of it as quickly as possible, but just as they made it and the castle was in ruins, Ganondorf suddenly resurfaced from the rubble as he was suddenly possessed by one of the Seven Great Demon Lords, in this case, it was the Demon Lord, Ganon who had likely been living inside his body ever since he himself was a child." Obito said.

"Having a demon inside of him must've been hard." Sakura said as Naruto held his hand on his stomach feeling as though he could relate a little.

"It's not the same thing." Came Kurama's voice.

'Kurama? What do you mean?' Naruto asked.

"Well, for one thing, I never wanted to be sealed inside of you. Ganon likely went into Ganondorf's body willingly for whatever reason, and he probably wasn't even sealed inside." Kurama said.

"What happened then?" Sasuke asked.

"Link fought Ganon, and eventually won the battle thanks to a little help from the Sages. Afterwards – in order to give Link back the time he'd lost – Zelda used the Ocarina of Time to send him seven into the past to before they first met so that he could also warn the past Zelda about Ganondorf's scheme. However, doing this also caused a split in the time-line, splitting it into three." Obito said.

"Three? I'd imagine that it would be two, not three." Sakura said.

"That's true. But the timeline somehow ended up being split in three; in one timeline, Link returned to the past where he warned Princess Zelda about Ganondorf's scheme, and said man was eventually put on trial, and executed, but managed to survive thanks to the Triforce of Power, and was sealed inside the Twilight Realm by the Sages. In another timeline, he defeated Ganondorf, and Princess Zelda sent him back in time before rebuilding the kingdom, but after some time Ganondorf returned, and this time no hero came to save the land, so the Goddesses created a huge flood and sealed Ganondorf along with the kingdom beneath the ocean. In the third timeline, however, Link died during his quest, and a great war called the Sealing Wars began, but the Sages was eventually able to seal Ganon into the Sacred Realm which was eventually renamed into the Dark World." Obito said.

"But if the timeline was split into three, then which one are we in?" Naruto asked.

"That's a good question, but in truth we're actually in all three while at the same time in none of them." Obito said.

"What do you mean?" Sakura asked.

"Come with me." Obito said before walking up to in front of the pedestal at the far end of the room, and the three Genin followed him.

"What now?" Naruto asked.

"Look up." Obito said, and the three looked up to see an image of the Triforce engraved in the stone wall.

"What? The Triforce?" Naruto asked.

"Look higher." Obito said, and the three looked higher up before their eyes widened.

There, above the image of the Triforce was another window, this one showed three people that were looking out of the window; the one to the left had green skin, red hair, and wore black armor and a crimson cape. He was also holding a sword in his right hand. The one to the left was a woman with long blond hair, and she wore a dress which screamed out "royalty". She also held a sword which Sakura recognized as the Queen's Sword in her right hand. The one in the middle had spiky, blond hair with two strands standing up like horns, and he wore a silvery white robe with green clothes underneath. He also wore a staff in his right hand, and in his left, he had the Master Sword, and on the back of said hand was the mark of the Triforce with all three pieces showing just as clearly as one-another. But his most astonishing feature, however, would have to be his eyes which were purple with four rings in them that were centered on the pupil like a ripple pattern. Behind the three was the silhouette of a gigantic ten-tailed monster which had only one eye, said eye looking like the ones of the guy in the middle except that there were also nine tomoes in it.

"Whoa… Who are they?" Naruto asked.

"They are the hero, princess, and villain of their time." Obito said.

"And the creature behind them?" Sasuke asked.

"Jubi… the strongest of the Seven Great Demon Lords. He was so strong in fact that before they left, the three Golden Goddesses used the Triforce to seal it on the outskirts of the Universe itself." Obito said.

"But I thought you said that the Goddesses couldn't use the Triforce." Sakura said.

"Not now, but there was a short period in which they could use its powers." Obito said.

"But if it was sealed on the outskirts of the Universe, how'd it get back?" Sasuke asked.

"The Jubi is a Demon, no, a God of Destruction by nature, and is therefore always drawn towards chaos." Obito said.

"Wait. So you're saying that he was lured back here by the struggle over the Triforce?" Sakura asked.

"Exactly." Obito said.

"So what happened then?" Naruto asked.

"When the Jubi returned, the three Golden Goddesses; Nayru-sama, Din-sama, and Farore-sama had just returned to this world as well, and they attempted to destroy the demon before it could reach the planet, but it overpowered all three of them, and even nearly killed them. I don't know much about what happened afterwards since the Goddesses had all been knocked unconscious. However, what I do know is that the Kingdom of Hyrule had been destroyed beyond recognition. The great forests like the Kokiri Forest and the Faron Woods had burned down, the giant volcano, Death Mountain had been half-way blown up, and the large lake, Lake Hylia had been turned into a part of the ocean as the surrounding land-masses had been reduced to little more than islands." Obito said.

"What do you mean by "Death Mountain had been half-way blown up"?" Sakura asked.

"Well, you see; Death Mountain suffered a hit by the Jubi's most powerful attack, the Bijudama. However, for some reason, only half the mountain was blown up." Obito said.

"But what do this have to do with what timeline we're in?" Sasuke asked.

"It seemed that Jubi was so powerful that it could create rifts in the space-time continium by simply just existing, and in the end, this caused the three timelines to merge back into one." Obito said.

"But if he was so powerful, then how was he defeated?" Sakura asked.

"The hero of the time – today only known as the Rikudo Sennin – along with the princess and the villain joined forces to try and stop it. But it proved too powerful, so the princess, and – reluctantly enough – the villain gave their Triforce pieces to the hero, and a new power suddenly awakened, the Rinnegan." Obito said.

"The Rinne-what?" Naruto asked.

"The Rinnegan. The most powerful of the Three Great Dojutsu. Even stronger than my own Sharingan." Sasuke said.

"Mm-hmm. That's true. It's a power which hasn't been seen before or since, but it's a power to be reckoned with, said to give its bearer the power of a God." Obito said.

"So I take it that that Rikudo guy killed the Jubi, right?" Naruto asked.

"No. The Rikudo Sennin remained incapable of doing so, so instead, he sealed the Jubi within himself, becoming its Jinchuriki." Obito said.

"He willingly became a Jinchuriki?" Naruto asked.

"Umm… Sorry, but what's a… Jinchuriki?" Sakura asked.

"Now that you mention it, I've never heard that term before either." Sasuke said before thinking 'Naruto seems to know what it is though.'

"A Jinchuriki is someone who has a demon sealed inside of them." Obito said before looking up at the window "When he knew that his life was approaching an end – fearing that the Jubi would be released – he separated its chakra from its body before sealing the body inside what would become the moon. He then split its chakra into nine pieces, creating the current Biju."

"He created the Biju?" Sasuke asked, and Obito nodded.

"That's right. Being the Jubi's Jinchuriki more or less made him a God, and a powerful one at that. However, he still couldn't beat old age, and he had to name a successor amongst his three children; two sons and one daughter. The oldest son believed that Power was necessary for peace, the youngest son believed that love and the Courage to move forward was necessary for peace, and the daughter believed that Wisdom was necessary for peace. And when the Rikudo Sennin eventually named a successor, he chose the youngest son, and because of this, the oldest son was enraged since he believed that because he was the oldest of the three, he was their father's rightful heir." Obito explained.

"What happened then?" Sakura asked.

"The two sons fought each other on many different occasions. But their eventual final battle was waged in a building that their own father had built. The Temple of Time." Obito said, causing the three Genin's eyes to widen.

"But didn't you say that this temple was built by some guy named Rauru?" Naruto asked.

"The temple that Rauru built had long since been destroyed by the ravages of time. This temple is one that was built much later atop the ruins of the first one." Obito said.

"But wait a minute. How far back did you bring us, exactly?" Sakura asked.

"1.924 years." Obito said, causing Sakura's eyes to widen.

"But that means…" She began, but just then, the gate on the other side of the room suddenly opened as a man who appeared to be in his mid-50th walked in.

The man had wild black hair, and wore a red robe with red clothes underneath. On his chest was an image of one of the Triforce pieces. And on his back he had a large fan. What caught the Genin's attention the most, however, would have to be his eyes which were pure white like the Hyuga's, but it was also in a spiral form which slightly reminded of the Uzumaki clan crest.

"There we have the oldest son." Obito said.

"So he's the oldest son of the Rikudo Sennin, huh? Well then, let me at him!" Naruto said as he was about to charge at the guy, but he stopped when Obito held his arm in front of him.

"Don't. A guy like him would be able to even demolish all of the Gokage without any problems. None of us would stand a chance." He said, causing the three Genin to gulp before he added "Besides, he can't see us."

"So that's where that old fool hid it, huh? To think I didn't realize that sooner." The man said before stopping as he continued "Now, Door of Time, I command you to open, and show me my price!"

Suddenly, the gate opened as a bright light shone through, illuminating the room.

"Is that…?" Sakura asked.

"It's got to be." Sasuke said.

"The Triforce." Naruto said.

When the gate had opened completely, the Triforce was revealed in all its glory.

"Mwuahahahahahahaha! After all this time, I've finally found it!" The man laughed like an evil maniac.

"Hold it!" The man then looked over his shoulder to see one who appeared to be in his late-40th.

This one had spiky, black hair which stood straight up. He wore a green robe with green clothes underneath, and on his chest was the image of a piece of the Triforce. He also held a sword with a blue hilt and a shining white blade.

"Who's that guy?" Naruto asked.

"I'm guessing the Rikudo Sennin's youngest son." Sasuke said.

"That's right." Obito said.

"That sword he's got… is that…?" Sakura asked, and Obito nodded.

"Hai. That's the Master Sword." He said.

"Senju…" The oldest one said.

"Uchiha…" The youngest one said.

"Wait. Senju? Uchiha?" Sakura asked, and Obito nodded.

"The oldest son is the ancient ancestor of the entire Uchiha clan, and the youngest son is the ancient ancestor of the entire Senju clan. Due to these two's legacy, the clans were named after them." Obito said.

"Stop all this madness, Uchiha-nii-san! Why can't we be like we used to be? Why do we have to fight like this?" Senju asked.

"Foolish ototou. If you and tou-san had just seen things my way, it wouldn't have been like this." Uchiha said without turning around as he gripped the handle of his fan.

"Kh… Fine, if that's the way it's gonna be…" Senju said as tears came down from his closed eyes before he opened said eyes "Then I'll take you down myself!"

Senju then leapt forwards as he raised his sword before bringing it down, but Uchiha blocked it with his fan as he held his left hand in a one-handed tora sign. Then, a large wave of flames came out of his mouth, but Senju jumped into the air, avoiding it.

"No way! He avoided it at such close-range?" Sakura exclaimed.

"Well, he is the son of the Rikudo Sennin." Obito said.

"Hijutsu Kenjutsu: Furyukamikiba!" The Master Sword was then engulfed in a blade of wind. Senju then swung it towards Uchiha who again blocked it, but this time he was sent flying into the base of a column by a powerful gust of wind which went out in all directions.

Sakura then noticed that there was someone peeking in from behind the door into the building before running in, and hiding behind the first column.

It was obviously a female, and she had long black hair. She also wore a blue dress with the image of one of the Triforce pieces on the chest.

"Who was that?" Sakura asked.

"Who are you talking about?" Naruto asked.

"Her." Sakura said as she pointed towards the woman who was peeking from behind the column.

"Oh, that'd be the Rikudo Sennin's daughter." Obito said.

Just then the Triforce started glowing even brighter than before as Senju and Uchiha continued to lock blades before Uchiha leapt backwards into the air before a pair of flaming red wings appeared on his back.

"That's…" Senju said in surprise as his eyes widened.

'The Phoenix Wings!' The woman thought.

"Surprised? You should be, shouldn't you? And here you thought that tou-san had hid these well." Uchiha said.

"The Phoenix Wings aren't for your taking! They should only be used by someone worthy!" Senju yelled.

"Nani? You're saying that I'm not worthy? But I have all the Power I could wish for, there can't be anyone more worthy than that!" Uchiha said.

"Power isn't everything! It's because you believe that that tou-san didn't choose you as his successor!" Senju yelled.

"Power isn't everything? Of course it's everything. Only those with Power can survive in this world, those without it aren't even worthy of living!" Uchiha yelled.

"You're wrong, Uchiha-nii-san!" Senju and Uchiha looked towards where the voice came from to see their sister poking her head out.

"Uzu-chan?" Senju said in surprise.

"Tsk. And what are you supposed to know? You don't even have any power!" Uchiha said before the wings spread out wide and a wave of flames shot forth towards Uzu.

Just then, however, Senju appeared before the flames and weaved a series of one-handed hand signs with his left hand.

"Suiton: Daitsunami no Jutsu!" He called out before a large wave of water suddenly gushed out from his mouth and came down over the flames, putting them out.

Then the Triforce suddenly vanished, causing everyone's eyes to widen before the mark of the Triforce of Power suddenly appeared on the back of Uchiha's right hand as his body was surrounded by an orange aura.

"You will never get your hands on the Triforce as long as I live, nii-san!" Senju said before he leapt up into the air towards his brother.

"Ha! I've already gotten 1/3 of it! Din's Fire: Kyukyoku Zenmetsu-en!" Uchiha called out as he held out his arms, and suddenly, a huge flame shot towards Senju, but then the mark of the Triforce of Courage appeared on the back of his right hand, and he was engulfed in a green aura.

"You're not the only one here with a piece of the Triforce! Farore's Wind: Kamikazekiri!" Senju called out as the Master Sword was engulfed in wind, and he swung it downwards, splitting the wave of fire in two, however, one of the pieces headed towards Uzu "Oh, no! Uzu-chan!"

Just then, however, the mark of the Triforce of Wisdom appeared on the back of Uzu's right hand as she attempted to cover herself behind her arms, but just then she was engulfed in a blue aura and a blue shield appeared around her, protecting her from the flames.

"They're really something. I can't even compare…" Sakura said.

"None of us can." Obito said.

"What are the "Phoenix Wings"?" Sasuke asked as he looked at the older Uchiha.

"It's one of the Four Magical Weapons, just like the Queen's Sword." Obito said.

"What are the other two Magical Weapons?" Naruto asked.

"The Grand Magister's Wand and the Thunder God's Hammer." Obito said.

Then the temple suddenly turned into a ruin with a forest surrounding it.

"Huh? What just happened?" Naruto asked.

"I sent us into the future. We're now 73 years into the past." Obito said.

"73 years? But that was just a year after the village was built." Sakura said.

"Exactly. And there's something here that I must show you." Obito said as he walked into the forest as the Genin followed him.

As they walked, they heard the sounds of battle, and as they got closer they started feeling the shockwaves which came from the various attacks. Then when they came out on a cliff, they saw what looked like the Kyubi covered in some kind of armor, and what looked like a giant Buddha statue with thousands of arms. On each of the giants was a person.

"Senju Hashirama, and Uchiha Madara. This is the place where they fought their final battle, the Final Valley." Obito said before adding "Look closely at the back of Madara's right hand, what do you see?"

"That's…" Naruto said as he tried to see it, but it was too far away.

"It's the mark of the Triforce of Power." Sasuke said.

"Exactly. And do you know how he got the Triforce of Power?" Obito asked.

"He inherited it from his ancestors?" Sakura guessed.

"Exactly." Obito said.

"But didn't Kaiza-san say that it was Ganondorf's ancestor who had the Triforce of Power, and that's why he thought that it was rightfully his?" Naruto asked.

"Ganondorf never knew that the Triforce went into the Uchiha that long ago. He believed it to have been in his family the entire time. In fact, Madara had probably thought the same, until he awakened it himself." Obito said.

"But I thought that I was a descendant of the Hyrulean royal family, but the Triforce of Wisdom went into the Rikudo Sennin's daughter." Sakura said.

"Yes. But she married the current queen's oldest son, so you are a descendant of the princess." Obito said.

"But I'm no descendant of Madara, I can tell you that much." Sasuke said.

"True. In fact I'm Madara's great-grandson." Obito said before everything around them changed again, and they were back in the room where they were prior to their little time-trip "Well, that was all I wanted to show you three. Now then, I promised Naruto-san to teach him. So I'll send all of you back to where you were when I picked you up."

"But there's still something I don't understand. If you were supposed to be the chosen wielder of the Triforce of Power. Then how did it come to me?" Sasuke asked, causing Obito to let out a heavy sigh.

"I was hoping I could avoid that question, but I guess I've got no choice now." Obito said before after a short pause continuing "I did get the Triforce of Power. However, when the Goddesses saved me, another person had to be given the Triforce since one who works directly under the Gods can not have any pieces of it. So we had it extracted from me, and waited for a suitable candidate."

"And I was the one that you chose?" Sasuke asked.

"Exactly. When we saw the Uchiha clan getting massacred, we saw a young boy who showed to have great potential, so we gave him the Triforce piece." Obito said.

"So that's why you gave me the Triforce? Because I "showed to have great potential"?" Sasuke asked.

"Yes, that's true." Obito said.

"say, Obito-san." Sakura said.

"What is it, Sakura-san?" Obito asked.

"Nayru-sama told me to look for "the Book od Mudora", but I don't even know where to look for it, so could you help me?" Sakura asked.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know much about that book myself. Though if you're looking for a book, then the library would probably be a good place to start." Obito said.

'Not much help there…' Sakura thought.

God Realm, Palace of the Golden Goddesses, Farore's chamber

Farore's chamber was a rather large room with a large bed in the middle. And as you would probably guess, everything was decorated in green. Currently Farore was sitting in front of a mirror as she let out a heavy sigh.

"I wonder what Naruto-kun thinks of me. I know he didn't resist the kiss, but what if he thinks I'm ugly, and rejects me? These aren't very big either…" Farore said as she held her breasts to empathize her point at the last sentence "What if he likes big breasted girls?" Then there was suddenly a knock on the door, and Din's voice came through.

"Hey, Farore. I told a friend of mine that you finally managed to build up the courage to ask your crush out, and she came all the way here from Tellus to help get you ready for your date." She said. (Kurama no Kyubi: Tellus; as in the Latin name for the Earth.)

'Friend? Tellus? Don't tell me…' Farore thought before the door suddenly opened and a girl who appeared to be in her late teens came in. She had long blond hair, and wore ancient Greek-style clothing.

"Heya, girlfriend!" She said as she waved to Farore.

"A-A-A-A-Aphrodite?" Farore screamed.

Now, don't get the wrong idea. Aphrodite was a nice and fun girl to hang out with, but whenever someone's going on a date, she always wants to help them get ready for it. And well, she tends to over-do things. Also when she first heard the "chan" honorific, she liked it so much that she now ends every name with "chan" despite gender and age.

"Din-chan, told me that you're going on a date." Aphrodite said as she walked in, holding a bag which was likely filled with make-up, and a grinning Din closed the door behind her as Farore let out a scream.

Unknown location

"Huh? Did you guys hear that?" Naruto asked as he heard a faint scream.

"Hear what? I didn't hear anything." Sakura said.

"Must've been your imagination." Sasuke said.

"Really? That's strange. I could've sworn I heard someone screaming." Naruto said.

'Don't tell me that Din-sama brought her here…' Obito thought before saying "Well, anyway, I think it's about time I sent you guys back." He then used Kamui on all three of them before using it on himself.

Konoha, Naruto's apartment, the next day

Naruto was in his apartment having dressed himself in some clothes that Obito had given him for his dinner date with Farore.

"Yosh. I think that should do." He said as he adjusted his tie before the mirror before he left the apartment, not bothering to lock the door seeing as though no one would be stupid enough to steal anything from a ninja, much less Kurama's Jinchuriki.

Shortly afterwards, he was walking through the streets, causing several people to look at him, but this time it was in surprise since usually only wore orange. He was headed towards Ichiraku, seeing as though Obito had told him that Farore would be meeting him there.

It didn't take long for him to get there, but it seemed that he'd arrived a little early seeing as though Farore wasn't there yet, or maybe she's the one who was late, but it'd be pretty strange for a Goddess to be late, so he assumed that he was there early.

"What the…? Naruto?" Naruto turned towards the voice to see Kiba "What happened to you? And what's with the dress?"

"Well, if you must know, I've got a date." Naruto said.

"Nani? You? Who'd be stupid enough to date a moron like you?" Kiba asked.

"You wanna start something, Kiba?" Naruto asked.

"You shouldn't get so cocky just because you beat up one of those Tani-nins! It was obviously the weakest of them!" Kiba said as Akamaru let out a few barks.

"Oh? So I'm cocky?" Naruto asked.

"Naruto-kun…" Naruto, Kiba, and Akamaru turned towards the voice to see the prettiest girl that they'd ever seen.

Farore had her hair in a ponytail, and there was one bang going down on either side of her face. She also wore a green dress, and had a green ribbon in her hair at the base of the ponytail. Farore was glad that she'd managed to undo most of Aphrodite's handiwork, cause she didn't want to look too pretty.

"Whoa! F-F-F-Farore… chan?" Naruto stuttered.

"Whoa! Is that the girl? How'd you score a hot chick like her?" Kiba asked before saying after a short pause "Though she can't be very smart if she'd date you." Just then, a tick mark appeared on Farore's head as a purple aura faintly appeared around her.

"Are you saying I'm stupid?" She asked as she looked at him.

"If you'd date him, you'd gotta be. But tell you what; go out with me, and I'll be sure to give you the time of your life." Kiba said.

Farore then simply just looked at Kiba before he suddenly felt a strong gust of wind blowing at him which would make Ventus' wind seem like a small breeze by comparison, and before he knew it, he had flown straight through several buildings as Akamaru ran after him while barking.

"Now then, you ready?" Farore asked as she looked at Naruto with a huge grin on her face as the faint purple aura was immediately replaced by a bright green one.

"Uhh… yeah…" Naruto said as he had a dumbfounded expression on his face while thinking 'Her attitude sure changed quickly.'

They then walked into the ramen stand and sat down just before Ayame came out and saw the two.

"Oh, hi Naruto-kun. Who's the girl? She your girlfriend?" She asked, causing Naruto to heavily blush at the last words.

"N-no, it's nothing like that." Naruto said as his blush increased.

"We're just on our first date." Farore said as she was blushing as heavily as Naruto.

""Your fist date"?" Ayame asked, she had only been teasing Naruto before, but if this really was their first date, then she'd make sure that it'd succeed "Tou-san!"

"Yes, Ayame?" Came Teuchi's voice.

"Get the best ramen ready. Naruto-kun's got a date." Ayame said.

"A date? Then I'll make it like there's no tomorrow." Teuchi said.

What none of them knew, however, was that there were three people standing on the rooftop, observing them. The three of them were Agahnim, Kabuto, and Baki. Agahnim was also holding a crystal ball which Ganondorf was looking through.

"Are you seeing this, Ganondorf-sama?" Agahnim asked.

"Yes. That's Farore, the Goddess of Courage. It seems that she's started a relationship with her chosen, or at least is trying to start a relationship with him." Ganondorf said.

"Farore? Then this might be a problem." Baki said.

"There's no need to worry. Gods hardly ever mingle into the affairs of mortals like us. And even if she does, we've got a trump card on our side." Kabuto said.

"And what's that?" Baki asked.

"Me. If Farore shows up during the battle, then I'll take care of her personally. Plus, we've also got him." Ganondorf said.

Kurama no Kyubi: And that's another chapter done. We were lucky enough to get to a place with wireless internet so early in the vacation, so I'll be able to upload this. On another note, it seems that Naruto finally got himself a girl, and she's a Goddess to boot, you can't beat that. Too bad for Kiba though. Also to the one who requested the Grand Magister's Wand, thank you, and as you can see, it's got a more important role than most items, and I've also figured out which dungeon they'll find it in. Also, in case anyone's wondering, neither the Phoenix Wings nor the Thunder God's Hammer will make an appearance in this story, well that'd be "again" for the Phoenix Wings, but you get my point. Now please review.
